Calvin Harris’ ‘insane’ collaboration with Rihanna

Calvin Harris found it "insane" collaborating with Rihanna.
The 32-year-old star worked alongside the brunette beauty on their hit song ‘This Is What You Came For’ and admits he was incredibly "nervous" about the whole thing.
He told Capital FM: "She’s a legend. Like, there’s not many artists that you do a song with them, then you play it back in the studio and it already sounds like it does on the radio. She’s an icon.
"[I was] nervous. That was an insane process. I first played the track to her back in November, I drove down to her house and played it to her in real life because she doesn’t get emails. So I went round and was watching what the reaction was, and after a couple of plays she was in!"
Meanwhile, Calvin previously revealed he played Rihanna the track backstage at Coachella.
He recalled: "I played it to her for the first time at Coachella. I was in her trailer. It was me, her and her manager. She was like, ‘This is sick’. It was the first time anything like that has happened to me.
"I was nervous. I had changed so many things musically, and she loved it. I’ll never forget it."
And the DJ admits the ‘Work’ hitmaker is one of his favourite artists to collaborate with because she is a unique talent.
He added: "She’s got that iconic voice, hasn’t she? The first time I heard her sing We Found Love, I thought it couldn’t get any better than this. Her voice is out of control, how distinct it is. There’s no one like her."
