Beyoncé sobs during final Mrs. Carter Show concert

Beyoncé broke down in tears during her final ‘Mrs. Carter Show World Tour’ performance.

The 32-year-old superstar – who has two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy with husband Jay Z – bid farewell to her fans during her last show in Portuguese capital Lisbon on Thursday night (27.03.14), and was overcome with emotion as she thanked them for supporting her during her gruelling 132-date tour.

She told the cheering crowd: "This has been an incredible tour … If you all don’t know, tonight makes 132 shows. Tonight is the last show of the ‘Mrs. Carter Show’.

"We started a year ago. And I want to say, this has been such a journey. In the past year, we’ve been so much together – the Super Bowl, shooting the videos, all of these shows. When I first started the tour, my baby [Blue Ivy] was not even walking yet."

The ‘Drunk In Love’ singer then began welling up, choking back sobs as she bade her final goodbyes to the crowd.

She stammered: "I just want you to know that I am so lucky. I’m giving y’all an ugly cry! Thank y’all again. Thank you for allowing me to have a career. When I fall, you lift me up. When I’m hungry, you feed me. And I just want to give you my light. I dedicate this song to you guys."

Beyoncé kicked off her tour in April 2013 and has performed across North America, South America, Australia, Asia and Europe, raking in an estimated $53 million.
