Donald Trump warns Prince Harry over his US visa

Donald Trump has warned Prince Harry that he could be kicked out of America if he becomes the next US President.

The controversial billionaire wants to serve a second term in the White House – but he’s warned that his re-election could spell disaster for the prince, who moved to California in 2020.

Asked by GB News’ Nigel Farage whether Harry could be kicked out if he’s proven to have lied on his visa application, Trump explained: “If he lied, they’ll have to take appropriate action.”

Harry, 39, previously admitted to using drugs in his controversial memoir, ‘Spare’.

But Trump, 77 – who served as the 45th president of the US from 2017 to 2021 – has admitted that he wasn’t entirely familiar with Harry’s case.

He said: “We’ll have to see if they know something about the drugs.”

Farage subsequently asked: “Appropriate action? Which might mean … not staying in America?”

Trump then replied: “Oh I don’t know. You’ll have to tell me. You just have to tell me.

“You would have thought they would have known this a long time ago.”

Stacy Cozart Martin, an immigration lawyer and adjunct law professor at Case Western Reserve University, previously suggested that Harry’s celebrity status might have played a part in his successful visa application.

Stacy told the BBC: “A lot of immigration is discretionary. They probably will also get a little bit more leeway than the average Joe.”

Elsewhere, Eileen Blessinger – a Virginia-based immigration attorney – observed that the immigration officials deciding on any applicant’s entry to the US would have to consider the wider benefits, regardless of any previous wrongdoing.

She said: “There could be an economic impact in the US, and also a cultural impact. That’s all going to weigh heavily in favour of getting someone a waiver.”
