Dua Lipa wants to win a Grammy

Dua Lipa hopes to bag a Grammy and play New York’s Madison Square Garden in the future.
The 22-year-old pop star has already performed around the globe in support of her chart-topping self-titled LP, but has set her sights on world domination, as she admits she dreams of wowing arenas and winning a prize at the prestigious US awards ceremony.
Speaking about her "high" ambitions", the ‘New Rules’ hitmaker told The Sun newspaper: "I would love to win a Grammy. I would love to do a massive world arena tour one day, be able to see that my career has grown to that extent, to have the opportunity to go and perform at Madison Square Garden in New York. My ambitions are always high and after you’ve conquered one then you’re always hoping to go on to the next big thing."
In the meantime, the ‘Be The One’ singer – who is dating Lany musician Paul Klein – looks set to win at least one gong at the BRITs next month.
The brunette beauty – who is already working on her second record – is tipped to be the recipient of Best British Female at the annual event, which takes place on February 21 at London’s O2 Arena.
Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Stormzy will join Dua in taking to the stage for what looks set to be a show-stopping show.
The Mastercard-sponsored ceremony will see British comedian Jack Whitehall host the glitzy bash.
Next Saturday (13.01.17), the awards will kick off with the nominations launch show, ‘The BRITs Are Coming 2018’, which will once again be hosted by Emma Willis, and will air on UK TV channel ITV from 5.45pm.
Liam Payne, Jorja Smith, Paloma Faith, Clean Bandit and J Hus will perform.
