Noel Gallagher pulls gig in New Zealand

Noel Gallagher had to cancel his show in New Zealand today (24.03.16) after his equipment didn’t arrive on time.
The former Oasis star, 48, was due to perform at the ASB Theatre in Auckland, but the delivery of his musical gear was delayed after the flight it was being transported on hit "stormy weather" whilst traveling from Chile.
Noel took to social media to apologise and said he was disappointed because it would have been the first time he’s played the country in almost 20 years.
A post on his Instagram account explained: "Not that any of it was my fault but I feel compelled to extend my apologies to those who were looking forward to the show tonight (me included!) Circumstances beyond our control have scuppered what was going to be my first proper gig in New Zealand since 97/98! Apologies again. (sic)"
Meanwhile, a representative for the rocker said the whole team behind his show were also annoyed that they’d travelled all the way and even tried to try and work out a way of him performing, but "regrettably" had to cancel the gig.
The spokesperson said: "Everyone is really disappointed to have come all this way and not be able to do a show. Despite our crew working on alternatives since the early hours of this morning there is too much equipment missing so we have regrettably taken the decision to cancel the performance."
Noel later took to Instagram to reveal he’d arrived in Sydney ahead of his show there on Saturday (26.03.16) and said he was still awaiting his instruments.
He added: "Well I’m here anyway! As for my equipment? I shall keep you posted. (sic)."
