Zayn Malik wants Gigi Hadid’s trust.
The One Direction singer is reportedly keen to show the 20-year-old model how much he cares about her and has opened up about his past relationships in a bid to win her over.
A source told Closer magazine: "They’ve been seeing each other for a few weeks and both seem to be besotted.
"Zayn wants to win Gigi’s trust. He’s talked to her about his break-up with Perrie and been open about his relationship history.
"Gigi has been surprised about how genuine Zayn seems. They are both planning to see a lot more of each other."
Meanwhile, it was previously claimed the 22-year-old singer is "heavily pursuing" the Victoria’s Secret model.
A source shared: "He’s been the one heavily pursuing her, rather than the other way round.
"He thinks she’s stunning and it wouldn’t harm his profile to be dating a top US model as he launches his solo career.
"Gigi is slightly more ambivalent. She’s aware of Zayn’s bad-boy reputation, and is approaching with caution. She even invited her sister Bella on their date to The Nice Guy to encourage Zayn to behave himself."
