X Factor’s Ryan Lawrie mugged

‘The X Factor’s Ryan Lawrie has been mugged.
The 20-year-old contestant had a "crazy morning" on Tuesday (01.11.16) as his bag was snatched by a robber while he and 5 After Midnight’s Kieran Alleyne stopped to help a fragile old lady who had taken a tumble in the street.
Taking to his Twitter account, Kieran uploaded a photo of him and Ryan in a taxi and accompanied it with the caption: "Morning outings with @RyanLawrie_ we helped an old lady who fell down in the street! But then Ryan got his bag robbed crazy morning!! (sic)"
Ryan hasn’t had the easiest of time on the show so far as he’s found himself in the bottom three for the third week in a row.
After last weekend’s show concluded, he wrote: "I’m gonna be honest here. I don’t get the votes from the older generation…but I sure as hell get them from all of you beautiful people!!"
He then followed it up by admitting that he knows he’s not the "strongest" performer in the competition but he’s got a real drive for music.
He said in a lengthy post online: "I am NOT the strongest singer and I know that I’m probably (most likely) not going to win, but what I can say is i am a human being with a dream and I am trying to make it a reality.
"For those who have just got to know me on The X Factor. I am not just some boy who jumps around is trying to become ‘famous’. I am here for a reason and that reason is to make a career in music. I am a songwriter. That is my first love and my main passion. I am a loving and genuine boy. (sic)"
However, ‘X Factor’ choreographer Brian Friedman is convinced viewers will see a huge change in Ryan if his girlfriend Emily Middlemas was to leave.
He said recently: "I feel like they’re each other’s support systems throughout this, so I definitely feel like their confidence is stronger because they have each other. If they’re alone they would have to really rise to the occasion and step up the plate and that would do both of them good to not have any distraction, and to really fight for it."
