Weezer and Queen join Guitar Hero Live


Weezer and Queen have joined the line-up for ‘Guitar Hero Live’.

The high-profile acts have been joined by other music heavyweights including Alice in Chains, Bullet For My Valentine, and Neon Trees on the game, which is a reboot of the popular game, which will be available on modern consoles as well as phones and tablets.

In the game, players will be able to give their own renditions of Queen’s ‘Tie Your Mother Down’ and Weezer’s ‘Buddy Holly’, while Bullet For My Valentine’s ‘Temper Temper’ and Alice in Chains’ ‘Stone’ will also be available.

Elsewhere, fans will be treated to the opportunity to perform Catfish and the Bottlemen’s ‘Kathleen’, Wolfmother’s ‘Sundial’, Deap Vally’s ‘Lies’ and Neon Trees’ ‘Everybody Talks’, along with other tracks by Angus & Julia Stone and New Politics.

The game – available on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and select mobile devices – will also introduce a new six button controller, as well as a multiplayer-focused streaming music service.

Other additions to the game in recent weeks includes Tenacious D’s ‘Tribute’, Pearl Jam’s ‘Mind Your Manners’, and A Day To Remember’s ‘Right Back At It Again’.
