Viscountess Emma Weymouth set for Strictly Come Dancing

Viscountess Emma Weymouth is the eighth celebrity confirmed for ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 33-year-old English chef and model – who is married to Ceawlin Thynn, the son of Alexander Thynn, seventh Marquess of Bath – was confirmed on Gaby Roslin’s BBC Radio London show on Sunday (04.08.19) as the latest star to be heading to the dance floor when the BBC Latin and ballroom dance competition returns later this year.
Speaking about joining the show, she said: "I absolutely love watching Strictly every weekend and I can’t believe that I’m getting the chance to be on this series. I know it will be such an amazing experience from start to finish. I can’t wait for the dancing and the fabulous outfits!"
Emma’s inclusion in the show makes her the eighth star to join the lineup this year, alongside the likes of Karim Zeroual, Mike Bushell, Catherine Tyldesley, Saffron Barker, David James, Chris Ramsey and Emma Barton were all announced earlier this week.
Karim, a presenter for CBBC, said: "To be offered the chance to take part in Strictly is dumbfounding, I’m pinching myself…!
"I’m so excited to be Strictlified. I want the lot. The skimpiest of clothes, the widest of flares, the brightest of colours and the tallest Cuban heel a guy can find! The more flamboyant the better… sequins galore please!"
Whilst former England goalkeeper David said: "I’m really excited to be on ‘Strictly’ this year. Not just competing against this year’s stars, but being compared to previous sport stars from previous Strictly seasons. I have some big shoes to fill."
‘Strictly Come Dancing’ is set to return to screens later this year, and more stars will be announced in the coming weeks.
