Vicky Pattison quit ‘Geordie Shore’ to be a "normal girl".
The 26-year-old reality star announced last week that series nine will be her last season on the MTV reality show because she wants to retreat from the spotlight and settle down with her butcher boyfriend James Morgan, 32.
Asked why she decided to walk away from the programme, she said: "I’m trying to slow my life down a bit – it’s all very well taking on every photo shoot and business opportunity, but is it going to make me happy at the end of the day? I don’t think so.
"I’m just a normal girl who’d eventually like a husband, house and a family. And I think James is ‘The One’."
Vicky has only been dating James – who has a six-year-old daughter, Talia, from a previous romance – since February but they have already discussed marriage and having children.
She told the new issue of Now magazine: "We’ve been talking about [marriage] but my sister Laura said, ‘Don’t be doing anything stupid James. I’m not having you propose to her after you’ve been together less than a year.’
"I didn’t think I was broody – I’m so not into kids. But as I get older, I do want them. Talia’s definitely helped. If I do have kids, it’ll be way, way in the future."
Vicky – who was previously engaged to her co-star Ricci Guarnaccio – has been made the Queen of the ‘Geordie Shore’ house and put in charge of her other housemates, including Charlotte Crosby, Holly Hagan, Marnie Simpson, Scott ‘Scotty T’ Timlin and Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle, for her final series.
