Jim Davidson: I was ‘depressed’ in CBB

Jim Davidson got "really depressed" in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house.
The 61-year-old comedian won the 13th series of the star-studded reality TV show earlier this year despite clashing with Linda Nolan on several occasions, and the star admitted he would've quit the programme if it hadn't become such good friends with N-Dubz rapper Dappy Contostavlos.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I didn't think I was going to win, I didn't think I was even going to come close.
"I didn't think I would win especially when the arguments with Linda were kicking off and I got really depressed.
"I did think, 'What am I doing here with all these bloody people?' If it wasn't for Dappy I would've climbed over the wall. I loved him Dappy, great guy."
Since his success on the show, Jim has met up with Dappy a number of times and the 27-year-old star - who was given a suspended jail term at Guildford Crown Court last month for a nightclub assault - even invites the former 'Big Break' host up on stage with him at his gigs.
Jim quipped: "I'm on standby for all his court appearances and all his gigs."
He then added: "I went to one of his gigs and got up on stage with him, it was fantastic. All these young kids rapping, great band. Really, really good band.
"He's brilliant, much, much better than people think. Really great performer."
'Jim Davidson Back and Live' is out to own on DVD now.

Frankie Bridge: I don’t feel like I’ve ‘mastered’ dancing

Frankie Bridge doesn't think she's "mastered" ballroom dancing yet.
The 25-year-old star has been one of the favourites to win 'Strictly Come Dancing' since the show kicked off in September and although she is now in the final four she admits she still doesn't feel she's as good as she could be.
She said: "I don't think I feel like I've ever mastered it. Kevin [Clifton] is a very good teacher and he does some great choreography.
"I just have really enjoyed it and I really thought I'd prefer Latin and I just absolutely love Ballroom and I've always wanted to be on the show so I'm just throwing everything at it."
The Saturdays singer is partnered with professional dancer Kevin - who was a runner up with TV presenter Susanna Reid last year - and he's confessed he's thrilled to have reached the final again.
Speaking to Susanna and John Stapleton on ITV's 'Good Morning Britain' Kevin shared: "I didn't think it could get any better than last year with the wonderful Susanna Reid but Frankie has been amazing and I was thinking, 'Oh no, what's going to happen this year?' But Frankie's been so awesome and is so lovely to work with."
Frankie and Kevin are set to compete against Blue singer Simon Webbe, former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Mark Wright and TV presenter Caroline Flack in the Strictly final this weekend and the mother-of-one has confessed she's nervous about getting her dances right.
She revealed: "There's a lot going on in my head. There's three dances, trying to remember things that we did weeks ago and learning something new and I'm excited to be in the final but also there's a lot of pressure now ... I think people are expecting it to be perfect."

Carl Fogarty: I’m too ‘laid back’ for showbusinesses

Carl Fogarty is too "laid back" for show business.
The former World Superbike champion - who was crowned winner of 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' earlier this month - has confessed he can't see himself staying in the limelight.
Confessing he's "too northern" and "too laid" back, he said: "I can't see that happening ... It's hard to imagine me staying it TV and doing stuff but you never know. Never say never."
The 49-year-old star - from Blackburn in Yorkshire - admitted he could retire now if he wanted to but revealed he could be persuaded to move to the United States if the right offer came along.
Quizzed on whether he'd consider working in Hollywood, he shared: "Yeah, absolutely. I'm in a position where I can look at things now and if I quite like the sound of something or fancy something different then I can do that.
"I don't need to - financially I'm fine and I'm busy with the racing and endorsements. It's nice to have something else to get my teeth stuck into if it really appeals to me."
Carl also opened up about his time on the ITV reality series and insisted that while he plans to keep in touch with former Conservative MP Edwina Currie, he had to tune out of some of her conversations in the camp.
Speaking at the British Comedy Awards, he added: "I like listening to what she's got to say. Apart from when she goes on about her sexual toys and things like that, and then I found it very uncomfortable."

Ben Hardy thinks he know who killed Lucy Beale

'EastEnders' actor Ben Hardy thinks he knows who killed Lucy Beale.
The 23-year-old actor, who plays Peter Beale in the BBC One soap, has confessed he believes he's figured out who's responsible for the murder of his on-screen sister Lucy (Hetti Bywater) earlier this year.
Speaking about how he thinks Peter and Lucy's father Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) killed her, he said: "I know 100% certain that Ian is the murderer. [Executive producer] Dominic Treadwell-Collins has said that the killer won't necessarily be caught and go to jail.
"So we're all constantly talking about it at work and coming up with new theories. It's exciting stuff."
However, Ben's recent announcement that he's quitting the popular drama in the New Year has left viewers questioning whether Peter did kill his own twin following revelations he'd sold her drugs.
Ben told soapsquawk.co.uk: "I can see why people think Peter is the prime suspect, but his motive is very thin."
Commenting on the idea that Lucy being their father's favourite led him to kill her, he added: "There's the perception that Ian loved Lucy the most, but I used to think my own brother was the favourite - and I'd never kill him!"

Mark Wright: Strictly Come Dancing is tiring

Mark Wright is too exhausted from 'Strictly Come Dancing' to have sex.
The 27-year-old finalist has revealed that the BBC One dancing show has left him "tired all the time" or in pain, meaning he has no energy to be intimate with his fiancée, ex 'Coronation Street' star, Michelle Keegan.
He told the Metro newspaper's Guilty Pleasures column: "I've not been waltzing around the bedroom. I sleep really good at the moment because I am tired all the time. And in pain!
"Since 'Strictly', every time I twist my back I hear ten cracks. That never used to happen. My ankles, my groin - everything is hurting in every place."
Meanwhile, the former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star - who is expected to wed his beau, 27, sometime next year - recently revealed that he "really misses" her and is looking forward to the pair spending more time together at Christmas.
He said previously: "About three weeks ago I'd been really missing her and she'd been really missing me.
"I sent her 27 roses and I said on the card, 'Here's 27 roses - this is how many days it's going to be until we're together'.
"This weekend she has a break, which means we can be together every day until Christmas and a little bit after - I just cannot wait."
Mark also admitted that he had received a lot of support from Michelle, even when she couldn't be at the studios to see him dance.
He said: "In the week when I did the samba, when my scores went right up and I was third on the leader board, I got a great text from her.
"She was watching at her mum's house and the message just said: 'Wow! That was great - Hot, hot hot!'."
Mark will fight for the 'Strictly Come Dancing' crown this Saturday (20.12.14) and Sunday (21.12.14) against Caroline Flack, Frankie Bridge and Simon Webbe.

X Factor winner Ben Haenow wants to front a rock band

Ben Haenow wants to start a rock band.
'The X Factor' winner - who triumphed over Fleur East in the ITV show's final last Sunday (14.12.14) - used to perform alongside his brother, Alex, in their band 'The Lost Audio' and is hoping he can front a group again.
He said: "That would be my ideal, to have a band. "Coming from a background of being in a group, I think it's important to have a bunch of musicians around you where you can jump in to the studio and actually create something.
"My brother was the guitarist in our band, but we broke up in 2012 because he got tinnitus. There has been talk about getting him in. I would love to get him involved. Please make that happen."
Ben, 29, also revealed that he met up with Simon Cowell to discuss his future just hours after he won the show and hopes he can stick to his preferred genre of music.
He said: "Before this I was into heavy rock. I don't think that's a genre that grasps a lot of people but I think I could do a rock album. You can definitely get away with doing something more edgy than a few years back.
"Me and Simon have had a small talk about it and we're definitely on the same page. He's said that it's important to get into the studio and choose the right people to work with. But I don't think Simon is going to push me to do pop stuff."
The 29-year-old ex-van driver is hoping to follow in the footsteps of former 'American Idol' contestant, Chris Daughtry who created his own successful rock band, Daughtry, but admits that he hasn't yet decided on a suitable name for the group.
Ben added to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "That's exactly what I'd like to do.
"I wouldn't want to call it Haenow. We'll brainstorm some ideas over Christmas. Ben X, maybe?"

Lucy Mecklenburgh ‘dating’ Louis Smith

Lucy Mecklenburgh is "dating" Louis Smith.
The 'The Only Way Is Essex' star is reportedly enjoying a romance with the olympic gymnast after the pair met on BBC One show, 'Tumble'.
A source revealed: "Louis got with someone straight after 'Tumble' but they split and he bumped into Lucy ... Sparks flew and they started dating.
"He took her to a skating rink last Thursday (11.12.14), which is apt considering he'll be on [Channel 4 show] 'The Jump' in the New Year. They had a brilliant time and things are really heating up between them.
"The way things are looking they could be together for a long time."
The pair reportedly enjoyed a romantic ice skating session in Canary Wharf, east London and have both been back to each other's houses, with friends revealing that things are moving fast between them.
During the 24-year-old television personality's time on the show, rumours were rife about the couple.
The source continued to The Sun newspaper's TVBiz column: "There were lots of rumours about Louis and Lucy when he was judging 'Tumble' and she was a contestant. It's true they were flirting, but nothing happened.
"In fact, Lucy went as far as to say he was too short, which must have come as a bit of a blow to his ego ... She must have forgotten about his size."

Jake Quickenden for Celebrity Big Brother?

Jake Quickenden is tipped to appear on 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The former 'The X Factor' contestant - and this year's 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' runner up - is odds on favourite at the bookmakers to join the Channel 5 show.
TV veteran Keith Chegwin, 57, was ahead in the early betting at 5-1 whilst Jake was at 6-1. But betting company, Coral, last night slashed Jake's odds to 4-1 after an increase in support flooded in for the 26-year-old singer.
Coral's Nicola McGeady told the Daily Star newspaper: "Jake may not have won over the 'X Factor' viewers but now that punters have seen his personality Down Under, his popularity has soared in the betting and he will be really well fancied to win."
Calum Best, 33, has odds of 10-1 whilst Katie Price, 36, is at 20-1 to be crowned the show's winner.
Meanwhile, 'CBB's host Emma Willis has teased a "stellar" cast for the show, which returns to our screens in January.
She previously said: "I normally stay very blind to it all right up until the last minute but this year I've actually seen part of a list very early.
"This is going to be one of the best ever series of the show. I have such high hopes for the series - that's how good I think it's going to be. You won't not recognise anybody if it stays like this. This year seems like a proper stellar cast and that's always great to watch."
