Jack Quickenden too busy for a girlfriend

Jake Quickenden is too busy to have a girlfriend.
The 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' star - who was rumoured to be dating winner Carl Fogarty's daughter Danielle - insists he's been too busy working on his album and playing gigs to see his mum, let alone go on dates.
Quizzed on whether he gets more female attention since appearing on 'I'm A Celeb' and 'The X Factor', he said: "I'm kind of oblivious to it all because I've just been working and I haven't had time to even see my mum so the last thing I want is to start seeing a girl. I need to see my mum first."
The 26-year-old hunk was criticised for saying he was single when he entered the jungle for the ITV series as it was reported he hadn't told his girlfriend of four years and had simply said he needed a "break".
However, he now claims there are no hard feelings between them, saying: "I spoke to her when I got out and just asked her if she was alright but we haven't spoke but she's a lovely girl and I haven't got a bad word to say about her and if I saw her we would talk."
Jake also admitted that although he appeared to have a soft spot for campmate Nadia Forde during his time on the show, he hadn't spoken to her since, until they were reunited at the National Television Awards earlier this week.
Speaking on the night he said: "I haven't actually spoken to Nadia since I've been out. She was a good friend in there and she'll be here tonight so we'll be having a catch up."

Alicia Douvall evicted from ‘CBB’

Alicia Douvall was evicted from 'Celebrity Big Brother' tonight (23.01.15).
The glamour model is "gutted" after becoming the second housemate to be voted out despite having a "very intense" time on the Channel 5 reality show.
But the mother-of-one, who went head-to-head against Perez Hilton, Calum Best and Nadia Sawalha in the public vote, told the show's host Emma Willis that she was looking forward to seeing her family.
The blonde star was surprised Michelle Visage nominated her to be evicted and admitted she "had problems" with Calum from day one, but brushed off Perez's controversial behaviour on the series, calling him "entertaining."
She added: "I take the good with the bad and thought he was entertaining...but I can totally see he can be annoying.
"I just took him for what I saw...it did confuse me when I had everyone in my ear."
Alicia frequently butted heads with Katie Hopkins during her time on the show and admitted: "It was very stressful because she said things that were disgusting, in my view.
"I just decided I had to let it go. It did turn into banter...In a warped way, we got on in the end."
The model hopes Nadia or Keith Chegwin go on to win this year's series.

Stevi Ritchie

Stevi Ritchie says everyone needs to "watch this space" when it comes to romance between him and Chloe-Jasmine Whichello.
The two singers had a fling when they were both competing on 'The X Factor' which led to Chloe being dumped by her then-boyfriend, Craig Wiffen.
Stevi has now revealed the pair are still very close and see each other a lot as friends but he is hoping it could develop into a serious romantic relationship.
In an interview on 'Good Morning Britain', he said: "It's all up in the air at the moment, me and Chlloe we're good friends, we've been seeing each other, you know, because we are good friends, we get on so well ... we talk to each other quite regularly. She's a lovely girl."
When pushed on whether they are really just friends at the moment, Stevi - who is part of 'The X Factor' live tour - replied: "For now, who knows what the future holds? Just watch this space!"
Stevi also lifted the lid on the reason for Chloe wearing an eye patch for her recent appearance on TV show 'Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side', revealing she got a piece of plastic stuck in her eye.
He explained: "She's a lovely girl and she's done something to her eye at the moment so she had a bit of plastic in it and she had an eye patch on on 'Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side' the other night, I feel a bit sorry for her. She's alright but she could have gone blind, luckily the plastic is now out."

Barbara Knox receives driving ban

Barbara Knox has been banned from driving for a year after pleading guilty to drink-driving.
The 'Coronation Street' actress - who has played Rita Tanner on the soap since 1972 - was arrested in March last year and initially denied the charge, but changed her plea today (23.01.15) ahead of a trial due to begin at Crewe Magistrates' Court next month.
In addition to the ban, the 81-year-old actress - who was arrested after driving to a police station after her daughter had been detained for the same offence - was also fined £3000 and ordered to pay costs of £1750.
Judge Brigid Knight told the soap veteran her original not guilty plea had wasted court time and money.
Her lawyer Nick Freeman accepted the actress was "the author of her own misfortune" and said his client "considers drink-driving to be serious".
At a previous hearing, the court heard Barbara was taken home by police after her daughter Maxine Ashcroft was arrested for drink driving.
After around an hour, the actress then arrived at Knutsford police station but appeared intoxicated.
She turned down a lift home and was subsequently apprehended for the same offence.
Her daughter later pleaded guilty to drink-driving and received a two-year ban.
A Coronation Street spokesman said they would not comment as it was a "a private and personal matter".

Ryan Thomas doing bar work to settle tax bill?

Ryan Thomas is taking on bar work to help settle a tax bill.
The 'Coronation Street' actor reportedly owes £40,000 to Inland Revenue and has resorted to making personal appearances at night clubs in a bid to raise the funds.
Ryan, who plays builder Jason Grimshaw in the ITV soap, will make £2,000 for an upcoming gig at a Yates' bar where he'll be responsible for mixing cocktails and greeting fans.
A flier for the club night at Yates' in Preston, Lancashire tonight (23.01.15) reads: "Ryan Thomas - aka Jason from Coronation Street. Live behind the bar shaking some cocktails!"
The 30-year-old star - who is said to be dating model Rio Fredrika - was reportedly declared bankrupt in October 2013 but is now close to earning enough to pay off his outstanding tax bill after making a number of personal appearances at clubs in the north of England.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Ryan is desperate to pay off his debt and is working hard away from Corrie to get the cash. He is getting there and confident he will pay off the taxman in the next few months. He was declared bankrupt after investments let him down."

Paul Hollywood and wife happier than ever

Paul Hollywood and his wife Alexandra are the "happiest" they've "ever been".
The 'Great British Bake Off' judge has revealed their relationship is going better than ever just two years after he confessed to having an affair with his 'The American Baking Competition' colleague Marcela Valladolid.
He said: "We went through a very difficult time but we're on top right now."
The 48-year-old star admits their "love of food" has brought them back together and he is now planning a "romantic" getaway for them on Valentine's Day.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "There was no let-up but now I feel we're in a very good place.
"I think this is the happiest we've ever been. Out love of food is they key to it all.
"We love going out and have done that a lot this year. We're away for Valentine's Day. That was my idea. I can be romantic. The way to every woman's heart is through her stomach. Food is at the core of everything."
Alexandra - who has son Josh with Paul - has also moved on from her husband's infidelity and is enjoying reconnecting with him.
She said: "You've just got to get on with life, haven't you? I'm an eternal optimist, he's an optimist. We're having a good time."

Katie Hopkins: Katie Price is saving me from CBB doom

Katie Price has "saved" Katie Hopkins in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house.
The former 'The Apprentice' star has confessed the only thing helping her get through her stint on the Channel 5 reality show is the 36-year-old glamour model, who entered the house on Friday (16.01.15).
She added she is surprised that Katie - who has children Harvey, 12, Junior, nine, and Princess, seven, from previous relationships, as well as 17-month-old Jett and five-month-old Bunny, with her husband Kieran Hayler - has become her saviour, having previously slammed the brunette beauty on numerous occasions.
Hopkins said in her column for The Sun newspaper: "I have been saved from impending doom by Pricey. This was unlikely considering my previous form regarding her terrible perfume range and menagerie of husbands."
Show bosses were said to have been expecting friction between the pair after Hopkins, 39, attacked her decision to name her fifth child Bunny last year, however, she has now turned her attentions to American blogger Perez Hilton, whom she describes as a "major league irritant".
She also criticised former 'Emmerdale' star Patsy Kensit's constant complaining and has likened her to "Yoko Ono with Tourette's".
She writes: "If there is one thing we do really well it is complain and Patsy Kensit is a master. For an exceedingly beautiful woman, she has imagined so many aliments it is impossible to list them all.
"Patsy's favourite word is 'mindful' and she tries to be it at all times. [She] is on the path to ninja level meditation which requires her to shout 'Peace and Love' at random intervals. Like Yoko Ono with Tourette's".
She concludes: "The next few days are certainly going to be interesting."

‘Strictly Come Dancing’s Camilla Dallerup: My split from Brendan Cole was a ‘mini-death’

'Strictly Come Dancing's Camilla Dallerup's split from Brendan Cole was like a "mini-death".
The dancing professional appeared alongside her then-fiancé in the first series of the dancing competition in 2004, where Brendan was partnered with newscaster, Natasha Kaplinsky.
Speaking about her split, Camilla said: "It was like a mini-death. You go through the arc of grief, anger, bitterness.
"My best friend and dancing professionally with Brendan had both gone. That felt pretty scary. It seemed like everything I'd ever wanted and worked for had been removed, just like that."
The 40-year-old model - who is now married to actor Kevin Sacre - recalled how pleased Brendan was to be partnered with the 42-year-old newsreader.
She continued: "Brendan had been over the moon when he'd been paired with Natasha.
"It's no understatement to say that he literally skipped through the door when he came home that day."
The 38-year-old dancer then made the bold decision to refuse to share a dressing room with Camilla.
She shared: "Looking back now, something in me died that day. To be honest, that was the moment I lost the Brendan I thought I knew so well...
"He'd lost interest in me. He was more than happy, though, to get up in the morning to watch Natasha reading the news!"
Camilla also admitted that she felt like someone had "plunged a dagger through my heart" when she saw Brendan and Natasha about to share a good luck kiss ahead of the first show of the series in 2004.
She told the Daily Mail newspaper: "Most of us were lined up to make our entrance down the big flight of stairs that led to the dance floor, when I saw that Brendan and Natasha were still backstage beneath the stairs on which I was standing.
"As I looked down, Brendan looked up and, when our eyes met, he pulled Natasha behind the curtain. As he was leaning towards her, I knew that he was going to give her a good luck kiss. But it wasn't the kiss; it was the secrecy, the fact he'd pulled her behind the curtain that made it feel as if someone had plunged a dagger through my heart."

Nick Hewer wants travel show job

Nick Hewer wants to present a travel show.
The 'Countdown' host, who quit his role as Lord Alan Sugar's aide on 'The Apprentice' last year, is keen to take charge of a programme which would require him to work in a hot country during the winter months because he is a huge fan of exploring the globe.
He exclusively BANG Showbiz: "I had said I was going to use the opportunity of leaving 'The Apprentice' to lessen my work-load, but I'm beginning to think about what I'd like to do, if anyone would want me.
"I would love to do a travel show, a leisurely travel show to go somewhere warm in the winter.
"Yes, a bit of travel TV, as I'm naturally interested in foreign places and people.
"I do actually have a couple of trips planned already - I'm in the planning stages now for a trip to Japan, where I'll be island hopping."
The 70-year-old TV presenter has already got plans for the three months he would usually be filming 'The Apprentice' and while he is pleased to have a bit more free time, he is "very grateful" to the show.
He added: "I allocated that period of time that we're usually filming to travel to Southeast Asia and the Far East - those 12 weeks, all that time is my own now, it will be wonderful! And it was of course made possible by being on 'The Apprentice', but then resigning from it! I'm very grateful for that."
Nick has also found time to promote CV Day today (23.01.15), which, according to the latest study on work-life balance from the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 smartphone, is the busiest job hunting day of the year, and he has encouraged job-seekers to be truthful on their resumés.
He said: "I don't remember when I last had a CV, maybe 1966. I tend to tell the truth.
"I hope I was truthful, you're always found out if you're fibbing."
The new research is the latest study on work-life balance from the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 smartphone, which has been specifically designed to aid both work and play.
