Dan Osborne investigated by police

Dan Osborne is being investigated by police over domestic abuse claims.
The 'The Only Way Is Essex' star - whose girlfriend Jacqueline Jossa gave birth to a daughter, Ella, a week ago - is at the centre of a probe involving his former flame Megan Tomlin, with whom he has a one-year-old son Teddy, who claims the 23 year old physically and verbally abused her during arguments over the Christmas period.
According to The Sun on Sunday newspaper, police have confirmed they are looking into "reports of historic domestic incidents".
Dan was previously arrested back in November after a bust-up at Megan's home in Essex, but was released without charge.
A source close to the reality TV star - who is said to be in the middle of a dispute with Megan, 22, over access to their son - said: "Police have been in touch with him but he hasn't been questioned and no charges have been brought.
"They are trying to reach a compromise, but it could end up in court."
Meanwhile, 'EastEnders' star Jacqueline and Dan have been gushing over baby Ella on their Twitter accounts.
Last week, the 22-year-old actress wrote: "Baby ella osborne was born yesterday thankyou @DannyO and @Sarabro2 for everything. Amazing. She's perfect x (sic)"
Dan wrote: "So so so so happy to tell you all!! Our baby girl Ella arrived yesterday evening @jacquelineMjos done SO well, proud of you. I love you."

Snoop Dogg for X Factor?

Snoop Dogg has been in talks with Simon Cowell to appear on 'The X Factor'.
The 'Drop It Like It's Hot' hitmaker has admitted he has had "more than one discussion" with show boss Simon, 55, about starring alongside him as a judge on the hit ITV singing competition.
The rapper, whose real name is Cordozar Broadus, Jr, insists Simon - who appeared on the judging panel on the last UK series with Mel B, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Louis Walsh - hasn't ruled out giving him a space on the desk in the future.
He told The Sun newspaper: "Never rule out me being a judge, I have had more than one discussion with Simon."
It remains unconfirmed which of the four judges from the 2014 series are set to return to the show this year, and host Dermot O'Leary, who has fronted the talent competition since 2007, recently confessed he is considering exiting the series in the near future.
He previously said: "I haven't made up my mind yet.
"I love doing [X Factor] and it's a huge part of my life. But it's eight years now."

Charlotte Crosby slams ‘pathetic’ claims she’s put on weight

Charlotte Crosby thinks it's "pathetic" people are suggesting she's gained weight.
The 24-year-old star recently dropped from a size 16 to a 6-8 after embarking on a healthy eating and fitness regime and releasing her own workout DVD but she's now slammed people for claiming she's put some of the weight back on.
She said: "I haven't put on weight. I was a bit puffy after a 24-hour flight [to Australia], plus I was due on my period! It's very bad for people to say that I've changed when I haven't.
"Those are the kind of stories that could lead to someone getting an eating disorder. It's very sad someone would even suggest I'm fat. It's pathetic."
The 'Geordie Shore' star insists she wouldn't be showing off her bikini body on her Instagram and Twitter accounts while on tour in Australia if she were concerned about her weight and claimed photos can make people look heavier than they really are.
She shared: "If I was worried, I wouldn't be sitting around the pool in my bikini, like I am right now. People haven't seen me in real life. That's not how I look."
However, Charlotte claims she has no plans to spend her entire life in the gym but can understand why some people feel the pressure to.
The brunette beauty added to Star magazine: "I'm not the kind of person who'd go down the silly route of becoming too obsessed, but I can see why famous people get insecure, because people judge you all the time."

Ray Quinn splits from wife

Ray Quinn has split from his wife Emma Stephens.
The former 'X Factor' contestant has confirmed he has called time on his relationship with the blonde beauty - with whom he has a two-year-old son, Harry Frank - after two years together.
The 26-year-old star - who met Emma while they appeared together in the West End production of Grease in 2008 - said in an official statement: "Unfortunately the speculation is true and Emma and I have regrettably parted ways.
"Out of respect for the privacy of my family I don't want to delve into my private life too much however what I will say is that our lives, after a period of time, have gone down separate paths."
Ray - who wed Emma in March 2012 - added he is trying to stay focussed on his career during the split and is looking toward his upcoming UK tour and the release of his new single.
He said: "Despite this obviously being a very difficult period in my life I am keeping busy with my new music and will be continuing with my UK tour and the release of my new single as planned."
The 'Dancing On Ice' winner also took to his Facebook page yesterday (20.02.15) where he urged fans to buy his new album, the first since his debut record 'Doing It My Way' was released in 2007.
He wrote: "I CANT STRESS HOW IMPORTANT THIS IS!! WITH YOU GUYS ON BOARD YOU CAN AND MAY JUST HELP LAUNCH ME AT THIS CRITICAL POINT IN MY CAREER."

Elliot Wright ‘moving on’ from Chloe Sims

Elliot Wright wants to "move on" from Chloe Sims.
The 34-year-old reality TV star - who had been dating his 'The Only Way Is Essex' cast mate on and off since last year - insists their romance is over for good and claims he's ready to have a "proper" relationship.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I wasn't getting what I wanted out of the relationship, so that's that - time to move on.
"I'm 34, and if I'm going to be in a relationship, it has to be a proper one - that's why Chloe and I aren't together. I don't think we can work it out."
Elliot - who was spotted getting cosy with Chloe, 33, following their split at the National Television Awards in January - believes the break up has been made difficult for the former couple as they are forced to spend so much time together on the show.
He explained: "I don't regret trying again but for me it wasn't working out. We bumped into each other at the NTAs and obviously we're attracted to one another. It's hard being in a relationship on the show full stop.
"If you split up with someone you tend to avoid bumping into them, but when you're on TV they push you together."
The father of two added he isn't looking forward to filming new scenes for the ITVBe reality series alongside the brunette beauty.
He said: "Being in a relationship on TOWIE is hard. If someone's going to have jealousy issues, it's not going to be easy. I'm a bit apprehensive about seeing Chloe when we film the show. We're the main characters, and the first couple of episodes will be about us."
Meanwhile, Chloe is already on the hunt for a new man and is looking for a "gentleman" who can take her on "lovely dates".
She recently said: "I'm 100 per cent single.
"I haven't got a type, but I do like a man to be a gentleman and have good manners.
"I like doors to be held open and help with putting my coat on. Someone who takes the time to organise lovely dates.
"I like to be treated like a lady."

Gillian Taylforth didn’t tell family about EastEnders return

Gillian Taylforth struggled to keep her 'EastEnders' return a secret from her family.
The 59-year-old actress - whose character Kathy Beale was believed to have died in a car accident in South Africa nine years ago - returned to the BBC One soap this week to mark its 30th anniversary and confessed she felt "awful" hiding the fact she was set to reprise her role from her kids, Harrison and Jessica.
Gillian - whose return was watched by 12 million viewers - added she had tried to tempt her family to watch the episode by insisting her on screen son Ian Beale was going to do "something silly" without letting slip she was to make a comeback herself.
Unfortunately both her kids missed her explosive return.
She told The Sun newspaper: "Keeping it secret has been awful. The only person who knew was my other half Dave.
"I was saying to my children the other day, 'Try and watch EastEnders, it's live and Adam Woodyatt (Ian Beale) is going to do something really silly'.
"I thought that would get them watching it, but my daughter said, 'I'm working until 9pm' and my son said he was playing football over the rec.
"So I went, 'All right, thanks very much'. I even kept it from my sisters and brother, I don't know how."
Gillian - whose character Kathy was part of the show's original cast when it started in 1985 - burst into tears when she found out she was going to return to the soap after being called to Executive Producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins' house.
She explained: "The approach came just before Christmas. I was up in Liverpool doing [Channel 4 soap] Hollyoaks and I got a call asking if I could go and see Dom.
"I'd presented Adam Woodyatt with his Lifetime Achievement award and East-Enders their 30th award at The Soap Awards and thought it was probably something to do with jumping out of a cake.
"So I drove over and Dom said, 'Phil's [Mitchell] going off on these visits somewhere and nobody knows what he is doing. It's all to do with you coming back to EastEnders'. I just went, 'Pardon?' I had this blank look on my face and everything went blurry. The next half hour was surreal. I couldn't take it in - I was so excited.
"I got to the car, turned to my other half, burst into tears and told him. He said, 'I knew it wasn't to present a cake'."

Carol Vorderman didn’t want to be with boyfriend ‘forever’

Carol Vorderman split from her boyfriend because she didn't want to be with him "forever".
The 54-year-old presenter ended her two-year relationship with pilot Graham Duff last year and says she thinks she is going to have the "best year ever" as a result.
She said: "Last year I made to big decisions. I came off 'Loose Women' as there were other things I wanted to do.
"And I came out of a relationship which had run its course. He wanted it to be forever and have the commitment that goes with it and I absolutely did not.
"It was two great freedoms, I look at my diary and it's the best year ever. I'm loving my life and have found my next chapter."
Carol has been married twice in the past and says her relationship with second spouse, Patrick King - with who she has children Katie, 22, and Cameron, 18 - was the best she has had because he understood her need for independence.
She told HELLO! magazine: "Paddy was the only one who got it. He completely understood.
"I loved him very much and we were very happy for a long time. He's very bright and funny and he gave me a lot of space.
"He didn't try to crowd me. He understood I need space. We matched each other. He never felt threatened by me."

Rowan Atkinson to play Jules Maigret

Rowan Atkinson is to take on the role of legendary fictional French detective Jules Maigret.
The 60-year-old actor is set to star in ITV's two upcoming stand-alone dramatic films 'Maigret Sets A Trap' and 'Maigret's Dead Man' based on Georges Simenon's novels.
The 'Mr. Bean' star said of his latest role: "I have been a devourer of the Maigret novels for many years and I'm very much looking forward to playing such an intriguing character, at work in Paris during a fascinating period in its history."
The films - which are set in the French city in the 50s - will be written by Stewart Harcourt from Simenon's books 'Maigret un piege' and 'Maigret et son mort' and will see Atkinson play the dramatic role of the magnificently measured and insightful French detective.
The formidable character, with his laconic manner, heavy coat and trademark coat, first appeared in print in 1931 and will be brought to life on screen by the 'Blackadder' star with the help of producer Jeremy Gwilt and executive producers Barnaby Thompson, Ben Latham-Jones, Stewart Harcourt and the author's son, John Simenon.
Thompson said: "Simenon was the godfather of the modern detective novel. We are excited to bring one of his greatest characters and the gritty life of Paris in the 1950s to the screen."
John Simenon added: "Maigret has been part of our family for almost nine decades, and we are bringing together one of the best-known characters in world literature with one of the greatest international stars. I have no doubt my father, like me, would have approved of Rowan's casting and been very excited to see him inhabit his most renowned creation."
'Maigret Sets A Trap' and 'Maigret's Dead Man' are scheduled to go into production in September this year.

Paddy McGuinness: Phoenix Nights tour raised ‘around £5 million’

Paddy McGuinness claims the 'Phoenix Nights' tour has raised "around £5 million".
The 'Take Me Out' presenter recently reprised his role as working man's club bouncer Patrick O'Shea alongside Peter Kay as owner Brian Potter in a number of arena shows in Manchester and he's now revealed the huge sum they've raised for Comic Relief.
He said: "I've not got an exact figure [of money raised] but it'll be around the £5 million mark."
The 41-year-old also confessed it was "amazing" to get back together with the cast of the show - which originally ran from 2001 to 2002 - including Peter, Dave Spikey and Neil Fitzmaurice.
He shared: "We all got in a room the day we rehearsed - and it was one day's rehearsal. We picked up where we left off, and it was amazing!"
However, Paddy admits it was "horrendous" to see co-star Ted Robbins, who plays rival club owner Den Perry, collapse during the opening night of the arena tour and revealed if it weren't for a doctor in the audience he could've died.
Speaking on an episode of 'The Jonathan Ross Show' - which airs tomorrow (21.02.15) night at 9.40pm ITV - he said: "The first night of the tour, Ted Robbins - who plays Den Perry - collapsed on stage and I was with [Peter] at the time when it happened and we were watching Ted on the screen [backstage] and he'd just gone on stage and I noticed his hands shaking.
"He just collapsed... When you see it, it's horrendous. He collapsed and he actually died, his heart stopped on stage."
He added: "Now, talk about luck - Richard Curtis was in the audience that night and there was a guy at the side of Richard Curtis, no connection, just happened to be a heart specialist.
"If he hadn't [gone on stage to help], Ted would have been dead. That would have been it."
