Simon Webbe turned phone off for four days after Strictly tour

Simon Webbe turned his phone off for four days after finishing the 'Strictly Come Dancing' tour.
The 36-year-old star took part in the three-week long tour after competing on the BBC One celebrity dance contest last year and admits he was so exhausted when it all came to an end that he had to take a holiday.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I took ten days off and had my first holiday since last year.
"I took ten days off, stayed in, didn't go anywhere, just rested my mind and turned my phone off. It was nice. Have you ever tried not switching your phone on for four days? It was the best thing because my mind was at rest because I wasn't thinking, 'Who's calling me?'
"It was just, 'I don't care, I'm drifting in and out of consciousness, I'm knackered'. It was great."
However, despite being crowned the people's champion of the 'Strictly' tour, Simon insists he has no plans to choreograph the dance moves for his band Blue's upcoming tour, following the release of their latest album 'Colours'.
He laughed: "No, I'm not that good! I'm very good at following what I've been taught but that came over time, I wasn't that good at the beginning. But no, that's totally different.
"It's an experience I wouldn't change for the world, it's helped me out a lot confidence wise and I just feel like we're entering a brand new chapter as Blue now and I can't wait to get out there and let the fans hear the new album because we feel it's our best yet."
Blue's new album 'Colours' is out on March 9.

Laurence Fox hallucinated he was being robbed by elves

Laurence Fox thought he was being robbed by elves after falling ill while filming 'Bear Grylls: Mission Survive'.
The 'Lewis' actor has confessed he began hallucinating that "little people" were stealing from him after he fell ill with a fever while trekking through the Costa Rican jungle for the ITV survival show.
He shared: "I fell asleep and then I was convinced there were these tiny little people trying to steal things from our rucksacks.
"I was shivering really badly and then I started panicking."
The 36-year-old star - who has been seen clashing with fellow contestant and 'Loose Women' panellist Jamelia on the show hosted by adventurer Bear Grylls - eventually had to be treated by a medic as his condition appeared to be worsening.
According to The Sun newspaper survival expert Scott Heffield, who found Laurence, said: "I went down to the camp and met Laurence half way. He was delirious, hallucinating, shaking, basically talking a load of waffle.
"He's had some stress and anxiety - that's a cocktail for a state of delirium."
Medical staff determined that Laurence was in a hypoglycaemic state, meaning that his blood sugar levels were dangerously low, and his cousin and fellow contestant Emilia Fox had to stay up all night to monitor his condition.
The 'Silent Witness' actress said: "I don't think I have ever been so worried in my entire life.
"It's horrendous watching your family member go through something like that."
'Bear Grylls: Mission Survive' continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.

Tom Richards denies beating up Danniella Westbrook

Danniella Westbrook's former fiancé has denied beating her up.
The former 'EastEnders' actress' ex-fiance Tom Richards has taken to Twitter to defend himself over claims he physically assaulted her after she posted photographs of bruises he allegedly inflicted on her online to her 127,000 followers.
He wrote yesterday (05.03.15): "There is no truth that I hit daniella , I restrained her from hurting herself and getting in trouble, cuz its over dont mean u need 2b cruel (sic)."
Shortly afterwards Danniella responded to his tweet saying she had been in contact with the police.
She wrote: "Resting up with my family right now . metpoliceuk and doctors have been amazing . OfficialTomRich needs banging up CanOnlyFightWomen."
"So Tom Richards blocks me after beating me up and covering me in bruises. That boy needs arresting and sending back to wales. #PoliceAware"
Danniella first made the claim she had been beaten up by Tom when she posted an image of a dark purple bruise on the palm of her hand along with the caption: "Back to bed back up sleep for a while. Body bruised and hurting."
She also hinted at further injuries: "You think that bruise is bad there's more #KeepYaHands2 Yourself #keepItIntheCage".
"Broken sleep tonight when all I wanted was rest after the most horrid day ever #Its9verNow."

Charlotte Ritchie says Call The Midwife set is haunted

Charlotte Ritchie believes the 'Call The Midwife' set is haunted.
The 25-year-old actress - who joined the BBC One period drama for the current fourth series - couldn't bear to go to the toilet on her own while filming at Nonnatus House because she is convinced there are ghosts there.
She confessed: "I can't go in there alone.
"When you go in you get this strange feeling that you're not alone. It's so spooky and surreal."
The former 'Fresh Meat' star - who plays Barbara Gilbert - admitted she isn't the only one who has noticed strange goings-on, with other people involved in the show hearing voices when in other parts of the building in Surrey, south east England.
She explained: "The props guys told me they heard voices in the attic room when there was no one else up there. One came down and he was properly white."
However, Charlotte revealed she has always felt uneasy when it comes to the supernatural and feels like the beings impact her whole life.
She continued: "Poltergeists really get me. I had a dream last night about a ghost. It's not a question of belief - whether it's true or not it definitely affects my life."
And while she admits the ghosts have scared her on set, she confessed she gets freaked out easily, even by watching TV such as 'Doctor Who' and 'Breaking Bad'.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I find 'Doctor Who' really frightening. I'm a total scaredy cat.
"For example, I've tried to watch 'Breaking Bad' three times but because I watch it late at night it really traumatises me.
"I already have really weird dreams so I don't want to make it any worse."

Lucy Mecklenburgh: I work out so my ‘ass looks banging’

Lucy Mecklenburgh works out so that her "ass looks banging".
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star has set up her own health and fitness business 'Results with Lucy' since quitting the ITV Be show and she's now revealed her main motivation for exercising regularly is to keep her derriere in tip top condition.
The Sun newspaper reports her as saying: "I like having a nice bum. I put a quote on Twitter the other day. It said, 'I work out for my health so I can live long... Who am I fooling? I work out so my ass will look banging in jeans'."
The 23-year-old reality TV star previously confessed seeing pictures of herself in a bikini while filming TOWIE in Marbella made her want to pursue a healthier lifestyle.
However, the brunette beauty - who is dating Olympic gymnast Louis Smith - admits she does miss being a part of the show.
She said previously: "I left over a year ago now and don't get me wrong, I absolutely loved 'TOWIE' and I do miss it but I'm really into doing my fitness business now ... I do miss it, it was great fun and I love watching it."

Jenna Coleman’s changing exit

Jenna Coleman's 'Doctor Who' exit has been scrapped twice.
The 28-year-old actress - who plays the Timelord's assistant Clara - had originally planned to depart during series eight's final episode, 'Death in Heaven', but changed her mind to appear in the Christmas special, and then decided she didn't want to leave during that show either.
Showrunner Steven Moffat said: "['Death in Heaven'] was her last episode.
"And then she asked me if she could be in [the] Christmas [special]. So I said, 'OK, I'll write you out in Christmas'.
"She came to the read through and did the 'write out' version - and again changed her mind."
Despite Jenna's indecision, Steven insists he "never wanted her to go".
He told Doctor Who magazine: "I didn't really want 'Death in Heaven' to be her last episode.
"And with 'Last Christmas', I'd already written the alternative version where she stayed, and I preferred that version.
"Frankly, I didn't want to lose her. She's an amazing actress, and she never stops working to make Clara better. I was very happy to go the extra mile to make sure we could keep her."
Jenna will return opposite Peter Capaldi in 'Doctor Who' series nine on BBC One later this year.

Chris O’Dowd feels like Niall Horan

Chris O'Dowd feels like Niall Horan.
The Irish actor recently starred in 'Of Mice and Men' on Broadway opposite James Franco and found the crowds of female fans who turned up every day to see his co-star made it a "f***ing bananas" experience.
He said: "Franco just brings masses of teenage girls, which is f***ing bananas.
"I was used to doing theatre in London where the average age of the audience is 68.
"I felt like the Irish kid in One Direction - Niall - like, knowing they're all going to see Harry Styles.
"I knew they were all there to see Franco. They just had to push their way past the weird Irish guy with the big beard."
The 'Bridesmaids' star - who has four-week-old son Art with wife Dawn O'Porter - loved his stint in New York's famous theatre district, admitting it was one of the "best experiences" of his life.
He told heat magazine: "It was one of the best experiences of my life, it was so exciting.
"Broadway feels like a real community. You got for a post-show glass of wine and the cast of 'Cabaret' are there."

Mario Falcone’s girlfriend regrets TOWIE appearance

Mario Falcone's girlfriend regrets her single appearance on 'The Only Way is Essex'.
The 'TOWIE' star had previously insisted Emma McVey wouldn't be on the show with him, but she was featured in his recent 27th birthday celebrations, only to be bombarded with abusive online messages.
He said: "It was my birthday party on the show and to reflect reality, my girlfriend would have been there so she popped along for a drink. She won't be coming on again.
"She was very reluctant and I think she regrets it now because of how horrible social media is.
"She messaged me saying, ' I wish I'd never done it people are so horrible and I don't know how people can be like this.' "
Despite the troublesome trolls which have seen Emma leave Essex to be with her family in Leeds, Mario insists their romance is stronger than ever.
He told new! magazine: "I can relate to how she is feeling so I can only reassure her.
"When you love someone, you want them to be happy, so if she's happier being with her family and friends and not having the pressure of being round here, then that's fine.
"It doesn't put a strain on our relationship. If anything, it makes us stronger."

Aidan Turner banned from eating Cornish pasties

Aidan Turner was banned from eating Cornish pasties while filming 'Poldark'.
The 31-year-old hunk has revealed producers of the new BBC One series stopped him from gorging on the pastry and meat parcels while filming in their native Cornwall as they didn't want him to put on weight before filming his topless scenes.
Speaking about the new eight-part series based on Winston Graham's novels, he shared: "It's sexy as hell. I have a nude swimming scene - I get naked a couple of times in it.
"I wasn't allowed any Cornish pasties, 'cos I'd get fat - and I have to take my top off so much."
The 'Hobbit' actor confessed he was thrilled when he was offered the lead role of Ross Poldark in period drama as it was the first time in years he wasn't asked to play a dwarf or a vampire.
According to Digital Spy, he said: "In recent years, I've only played supernatural characters - if I wasn't a werewolf or a dwarf or a vampire or something, it wasn't for me!
"This is a more grown-up role for me - it's not that adolescent fandom, small demographic, sci-fi or fantasy sort of thing - it just resounded more with me."
Aidan also admitted he'd be more than happy to keep making the series, which he claims could carry on for years because of the number of 'Poldark' stories Graham penned between 1945 and 2002.
He added: "It's about six seasons' worth! I'm up for six, if we make it that far - it's hard to know what an audience wants to see these days.
"We think we have a really good show but you can never tell - I don't think anybody expected 'Downton Abbey' to be so popular... you just never know."
