Geordie Shore cast launch political party

The cast of 'Geordie Shore' have launched their own political party.
Original cast member Charlotte Crosby today (11.03.15) rounded up her co-stars and took to the streets of London to launch The Geordie Party to celebrate the upcoming new series of the MTV reality show.
With the help of pals Holly Hagan, Marnie Simpson, Gary 'Gaz' Beadle, Scott 'Scotty T' Timlin, Aaron Chalmers and Kyle Christie, as well as new cast members Chloe Etherington and Nathan Henry, Charlotte announced The Geordie Party's manifesto.
The badly-behaved stars have put together a number of unique pledges ahead of the General Election later this year including plans to provide free spray tans on the NHS to men, women, children, old people, babies and even cats.
In a bid to solve Britain's immigration crisis they believe only the "hottest talent" - which includes supermodels, beauty pageant contestants, underwear models and Hollywood stars including Ryan Gosling and Megan Fox - should be allowed to enter the United Kingdom.
The party animals want to disband parliament and turn the House of Commons into a super-sized nightclub while plans for health and education include supplying schools with their various fitness DVDs and personal tuition from busy Holly.
Not keen on introducing National Service, the 'Geordie Shore' cast are more interested in "spreading the love" and want to encourage people to "tash on" with as many people as possible.
The final pledge on their manifesto is, of course, to make their native Newcastle the capital city of England because "when we're in charge, we can do what we want".
The tenth series of 'Geordie Shore' - which sees veteran star James Timlin follow in Vicky Pattison's footsteps by quitting the show with newbies Chloe and Nathan enlisted as replacements - kicks off on MTV at 10pm on April 7.

The Fall to return to for third season

'The Fall' is to return for a third series.
The BBC has announced that they've commissioned a new five-part series of the physiological thriller starring Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan, which will reveal the fate of serial killer Paul Spector, played by Dornan, after he was left lying shot in the arms of Stella Gibson (Anderson) at the end of series two.
Series writer and director Alan Cubitt said: "The cliffhanger ending of season two was conceived in the hope of further exploring the characters and the themes that are at the heart of The Fall."
Ben Stephenson, BBC controller of drama commissioning, added: "The story is far from over. Allan has known the end game from the beginning - the cat and mouse game between Gillian and Jamie has one last act to play out. Who will win?"
The new season of the BBC Two show is likely to bring the drama to a close when it airs next year.
Since the series first aired in 2013, Jamie, 32, has shot to fame starring as Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of E.L James' novel 'Fifty Shades of Grey',
Around 3.6 million people tuned in to watch 'The Fall' season two finale last December.

Vic Reeves leads One Direction tribute band for Comic Relief

Vic Reeves will lead a One Direction tribute band for Comic Relief.
The 'Shooting Stars' comedian will be joined by fellow comedy stars Jack Dee, Patrick Kielty, Johnny Vegas and Nick Helm to create a spoof band called No Direction.
The group will make their debut on Red Nose Day, performing the band's hit 'Best Song Ever' during the charity show's broadcast on BBC One.
Vic will become Harry Styles whilst Jack will perform as Louis Tomlinson. Patrick and Nick will portray Niall Horan and Zayn Malik respectively and Johnny will become Liam Payne for the night.
The real band have given the comedy act their blessing and are "gutted" they won't be able to attend the event to give their support to the comedy group because of touring commitments in Asia.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "The band think it's a great laugh and know it will raise a huge amount of money for those less fortunate than them...
"The boys are gutted they can't cheer on the band but they'll be watching - and judging - their efforts."
No Direction have been busy in rehearsals all week as they work to master a complicated dance routine as well as perfecting the band member's individual style.

Leigh Francis: I’d only do Strictly Come Dancing if I broke my legs

Leigh Francis has ruled out competing on 'Strictly Come Dancing' unless he breaks his legs.
The 'Celebrity Juice' star, who hosts the ITV2 show as his alter-ego Keith Lemon, insists he would only appear on the BBC One celebrity dance contest if his career went down the pan.
He joked: "Oh no. I'll never do 'Strictly' ever. Unless my career goes really wrong, I fall of a building, lose my legs, and then learn how to use my legs again ... If I lost my legs and got them back I probably would do 'Strictly'."
The 41-year-old comedian claims he has nothing against celebrities who do chose to appear on the show, however, but thinks it would be too much effort.
He added: "I'm not judging anyone else who does it, but one of my friends did it and she said it was really hard work."
Leigh confessed he much prefers meeting people as Keith as interviews often don't "go as well as it would if I was Keith Lemon as you only know Keith Lemon."
Speaking at the TRIC Awards in London, he explained that he "rarely" opens up about the real him as he "doesn't want anyone to know who I am".
He also confirmed that ITV2 has ordered a second series of 'The Keith Lemon Sketch Show' following the success of it's current run.

Jeremy Clarkson ‘hit’ producer over ‘catering issue’

Jeremy Clarkson "hit" a producer over a "catering issue".
The 54-year-old 'Top Gear' host has been suspended from the driving show for allegedly punching the programme's assistant producer Oisin Tymon, 36, after he was told there was no food available following a shoot in Newcastle.
A source said: "It was all over a catering issue. Jeremy just saw red and hit the assistant producer, who he blamed for not having organised the food."
A TV insider revealed the incident left other crew members "stunned", and believes it may be the final straw for the BBC who told Jeremy he was on his "final warning" last year after causing controversy by saying the N-word while reciting a nursery rhyme.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "Jeremy had a massive bust-up with one of the male show producers and he ended up smacking him in the face. Everyone was absolutely stunned.
"Jeremy is an incredibly valuable asset to the BBC. He is 'Top Gear' and the show makes more money than anything else on their roster.
"They have given him countless chances, but when you hit someone, there is no way round it. They had no choice but to suspend him.
"It's very early at this stage, but the fact no one else has been suspended is very telling."
The BBC announced the host's suspension on Tuesday (10.03.15), revealing the final three episodes of the series would be axed after a "fracas" with a producer, which they confirmed they were investigating.
They said: "Following a fracas with a BBC producer, Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended pending an investigation. No one else has been suspended. 'Top Gear' will not be broadcast this Sunday."
However, a source close to the broadcaster - who has been on the show since it began in 1988 - insisted "he didn't punch anyone", with fans campaigning for Jeremy to be reinstated with the #BringBackClarkson hashtag on Twitter.
Making light of his suspension, Jeremy said: "I'm having a nice cold pint and waiting for this to blow over."

Dan Osborne’s ex-girlfriend finds him ‘scary’

Dan Osborne's ex-girlfriend finds him "scary".
The 'Only Way is Essex' hunk was apparently caught on tape threatening Megan Tomlin - the mother of his 14-month-old son Teddy - if she got a new boyfriend, and the teacher's best pal Kerrie admits her friend had been recording their conversations for some time because she was so terrified of the 23-year-old star.
Speaking about the audio, which was leaked earlier this month but recorded in November, Kerrie said: "Dan's behaviour on the tape was the final straw for Megan.
"She's always wanted to keep things amicable for the sake of their son, but it's been difficult.
"With Dan's behaviour - it's scary.
"Megan has had to endure being labelled as this 'jealous ex' but she just wants to move on."
While Megan has been the subject of abuse from Dan - whose girlfriend Jacqueline Jossa gave birth to their daughter Ella last month - and is trying to stop his bid for joint custody of Teddy, Kerrie says her friend is doing her best to block everything out and focus on her little boy.
She added to heat magazine: "These past 18 months have been incredibly tough. But despite this, the only priority in Megan's life is her son."
Meanwhile, Megan has insisted she isn't responsible for the audio being leaked.
She said previously: "No, I didn't leak the tape. I'm looking into how it's got so much media attention. The police have it, obviously, and I have been accused of selling it. I didn't."
The tape - which is said to have been made last year - reportedly features Dan telling Megan he'll stab her if she sleeps with another man despite them having been broken up for a number of months at the time.
He then goes on to call her "dirty" and tells her to "go f**k" herself before appearing to deny his relationship with 'EastEnders' actress Jacqueline.
Dan has been suspended from 'TOWIE' while the incident is investigated.

Robin Ellis disappointed by nudity in Poldark

Robin Ellis is disappointed by 'Poldark's nudity.
The 73-year-old actor played the protagonist in the original television series, and has berated the new BBC One version for not casting an "ordinary bloke" as Captain Ross Poldark.
He commented: "I was just an ordinary bloke; in those days male actors weren't muscular and buff. In the Seventies people would have been really taken aback - shocked, even - if I'd revealed the sort of tanned, toned six-pack that's commonplace now."
The star - who now makes a living writing cookery books in France - explained the series' main actor Aidan Turner's many topless scenes are far more revealing than his one moment without a shirt on in the original series, for which he was scolded by his local launderette worker.
He told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "'Poldark' wasn't nearly as sexy as audiences like to believe
"I did take my white frilly shirt off on-screen - I was washing, I think - but it only happened the once in 29 episodes.
"The morning after it was screened, I went to my local launderette as usual and handed my clothes in for a service wash.
"The Eastern European woman who always did my washing stood there, shaking her head in disappointment, wagging her finger at me and saying, 'Big mistake,' so I didn't do it again."

Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright to wed in Suffolk in May

Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright will wed in Suffolk in May.
The former 'Coronation Street' star and her 'Take Me Out - The Gossip' presenter beau are set to get hitched in a Tudor mansion in the county in south east England, despite neither of them hailing from the area.
While the raven-haired beauty, 27, is from Stockport, Greater Manchester, the 28-year-old star was born in neighbouring county, Essex.
A source revealed: "Mark and Michelle have been planning this day since they got engaged in 2013.
"Hours and hours of planning have gone into it from both of them."
The couple are reported to have sent out invites to hundreds of friends inviting them to the bash, which will be held at Hengrave Hall, located in the small market town of Bury St Edmunds.
The 350-acre estate has been described as "elegant, enchanting and exclusive" and will host the whole day's activities, with the loved-up couple tying the knot in the church of St John Lateran, located just yards away from the main hall where the reception will be held, and where guests have been invited to stay.
While 200 friends and family members are believed to have been invited to the evening party, approximately 120 people are expected to attend the ceremony itself, as well as the couple's wedding breakfast.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "They can't wait for the big day now. They'll have all their nearest and dearest there, including cast members from 'TOWIE' and 'Coronation Street'."
