Christine Bleakley wants Phillip Schofield to reunite with Gordon the Gopher

Christine Bleakley wants Phillip Schofield and Gordon the Gopher to return.
The 'This Morning' presenter has revealed she would love to see her co-host bring children's entertainment shows back to Saturday morning television.
She said: "I miss Saturday morning telly. I know there are children's channels now but that was real event telly and it crossed over - you'd watch it with a hangover when you were older too. We need Phil and Gordon the Gopher to come back."
Ant and Dec are another duo that Christine wouldn't mind seeing return to present their Saturday morning show SMTV, as she thinks they're the funniest people on TV.
The 36-year-old beauty told Radio Times magazine: "Ant and Dec are fantastic. They're funny as well as being brilliant presenters. I've never been more embarrassed in my whole life than when I did 'I'm a Celebrity...Get Out of Me Ear!' for 'Saturday Night Takeaway'."
While Christine wants to bring back entertainment shows in the morning, she's moving away from presenting them herself to host walking programme 'Wild Ireland' instead.
She said: "Live shows like 'Dancing on Ice' and 'This Morning' are very exciting to do. But I really enjoyed just chatting away to ordinary people about their stories. It was a fantastic experience and lovely to get back on the road. But there's nothing quite like the buzz of a live show, so of course if there's something brilliant, I wouldn't turn it down."

Scott Maslen turned down a return to EastEnders

Scott Maslen rejected an offer to return to 'EastEnders'.
The actor was asked to reprise his role as Jack Branning in the long-running BBC One soap after 18 months away but turned it down as he believes it would have held him back from securing other roles.
He said: "I didn't want to go back just 18 months after leaving. There is an element of snobbery with soaps. It means people in the industry don't see you as an actor, they see you as a commodity."
Scott appeared in 'EastEnders' for six years and became a fan favourite due to his fiery relationship with Ronnie Mitchell but he's now admitted he only took the job in the first place to look after his family.
He told the Daily Star newspaper: "In the kind of acting I'd like to do people would look at 'EastEnders' and say 'you don't want to touch that'. We've all got to pay the bills and work. When I made a deal to do 'EastEnders' that was my choice for my own reasons - for my family, to get a house."
The 40-year-old star - who also took part in 'Strictly Come Dancing' in 2010 - is now starring opposite Elizabeth Hurley and Joan Collins in new E! drama 'The Royals'.

Jess Wright not taking Dan Edgar to brother’s wedding

Jess Wright won't be taking Dan Edgar to her brother Mark Wright's wedding.
The 'Only Way Is Essex' star has been seen dating the ITVBe show's new cast member Dan in the most recent series but insists the pair are "just two people having fun" and has no plans to take him as her date to Mark's upcoming wedding to 'Ordinary Lies' actress Michelle Keegan.
She said: "I don't know [Dan] well enough yet, but who knows? I'm not planning to take anyone [to Mark and Michelle's wedding] at the moment. I'm just looking forward to having a fun day."
Jess did admit, however, that Mark and Michelle's relationship does make her want to settle down and find true love herself.
The 29-year-old beauty told Star magazine: "One day I will find that kind of love. [Mark and Michelle] have a really strong bond and it's lovely to see. I'm so excited and happy for my brother because he's found a wonderful love."
The final episode of TOWIE's most recent series aired on Sunday night (05.04.15) and saw Jess and Dan kiss as they decided to give their relationship another go, having broken it off in the previous episode.

David Lynch: Twin Peaks reboot may go ahead without me

David Lynch has hinted the 'Twin Peaks' reboot will go ahead without him
The 69-year-old director - who helmed the original series which aired from 1990 to 1991 - confirmed on Twitter this weekend that he will no longer be returning to direct Showtime's upcoming remake of the crime drama despite having already written the scripts for all nine episodes alongside co-creator Mark Frost.
He wrote: "This weekend I started to call actors to let them know I would not be directing. Twin Peaks may still be very much alive at Showtime.
"I love the world of Twin Peaks and wish things could have worked out differently."
The 'Blue Velvet' filmmaker revealed the reason behind his departure from the project was a lack of funds.
He shared: "Dear Twitter Friends, Showtime did not pull the plug on Twin Peaks.
"After 1 year and 4 months of negotiations, I left because not enough money was offered to do the script the way I felt it needed to be done. (sic)"
Meanwhile, Showtime themselves hope the original stars of the show, including Kyle MacLachlan, who agreed to reprise their roles in the reboot will return despite Lynch's decision to cease his involvement.
A statement reads: "Showtime also loves the world of 'Twin Peaks' and we continue to hold out for hope that we can bring it back in all its glory with both of its extraordinary creators, David Lynch and Mark Frost, at its helm."

Jeremy Clarkson won’t be facing police action

Jeremy Clarkson will not be facing police action over allegedly punching a producer.
The former 'Top Gear' presenter was sacked from the popular BBC show last month after being involved in a "fracas" with producer Oisin Tymon - who he's alleged to have punched in an argument over a steak - and although his victim said he would not be pressing charges, the authorities claimed they still had to make "routine enquiries".
However, North Yorkshire Police have now confirmed they've completed all the necessary interviews and will "not be pursuing this matter any further".
Mr. Tymon had to take himself to A&E after being left with a split lip following his assault by the 54-year-old star and the BBC's director general Tony Hall claimed he'd been left with "no choice" but to fire the controversial presenter.
The police released a statement on their website, saying: "North Yorkshire Police takes a thorough and victim-led approach to all investigations.
"Last week, the person at the centre of the incident, Mr. Tymon, said that he did not wish the police to take action on his behalf. However, at that point we still needed to speak to some members of the public who were present at the time of the incident, who had been affected by the event, and whose views also needed to be considered.
"Now that all the interviews are complete, we have properly established that there is no need for further police action."

Fearne Cotton to voice teletubbies character

Fearne Cotton is to voice a 'Teletubbies' character.
The BBC Radio 1 DJ is to make her return to children's television on the upcoming 21st Century version of the BBC series that featured alien characters Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po and ran from 1997 to 2001.
She said: "Teletubbies holds a special place in my heart so I'm honoured to be part of this well-loved TV show. As a mum, I am sure the new series will enthral a new generation of children and I will certainly be watching with my kids."
The presenter - who has two-year-old son Rex with husband Jesse Wood and is pregnant with their second child - will provide the vocals for the Voice Trumpets while 'Absolutely Fabulous' actress Jane Horrocks will be the voice of the aliens' new 21st century gadget, the Tubby Phone.
Jane shared: "I am very excited to be playing the Tubby Phone in the new series. It has a whole new feel to it, I think it's hilarious and it will appeal to adults as much as it does children."
Meanwhile, 'Harry Potter' actor Jim Broadbent will also be voicing a character on the new series.

Steven Moffat: Doctor Who will last at least another five years

'Doctor Who' will continue for at least another five years.
Steven Moffat, the writer and producer of the iconic sci-fi show, says he's unsurprised the revived programme has thrived over the last decade, but is shocked the BBC are keen to extend it for another five years.
He shared: "I thought it would last ten years. I didn't think it would last ten years with BBC Worldwide trying to get me in a room to talk about their plan for the next five years!
"It's going to do a minimum of 15. I mean, it could do 26!"
The award-winning producer said the show's popularity tricks viewers into thinking success has been "easy" to achieve, but he's attributed it to good casting.
Steven - who is currently working with Peter Capaldi as the Time Lord - told Doctor Who magazine: "That's not to say its easy. It's not easy to find new people. It's not easy to find new Doctors. That could be the danger - that you start to think that it's easy. There's nothing easy about doing Doctor Who."
Steven, 53, also revealed the programme's popularity has barely wavered over the last decade and internationally, it has actually increased.
He explained: "Ten years on, our ratings are pretty much the same. Actually, internationally, bigger. No show does that! You're meant to go down! Doctor Who just stays. It's extraordinary!"

Simon Cowell tips The Voice to last for a ‘long time’

Simon Cowell thinks 'The Voice' will continue for a "long time".
The 'X Factor' boss has revealed he thinks the ITV singing competition's rival BBC show will continue to air over the next few years despite its failure to produce big stars and hit songs while his show has launched the careers of musical talent such as One Direction and Olly Murs.
He said: "My gut feeling is there are now four talent shows that will probably last for quite a long time and that's 'The X Factor', 'Britain's Got Talent', 'Strictly [Come Dancing]' and 'The Voice'
"I think that's enough. Any more than that will be a problem."
The 55-year-old music mogul is set to return as a judge on his other ITV show, 'Britain's Got Talent', this weekend and he's confessed he's taken a new "nosy" approach to contestants.
He shared: "I think the public at home feel the same way. Sometimes when you ask these questions you really get to know whether the person is sincere and whether they are serious about this - and so it helps me make a decision.
"Actually, if you like the person before they have performed then they stand a better chance."

Gordon Ramsay is ‘soft on the inside’

Gordon Ramsay is "soft on the inside" according to his daughter Tilly.
The 'Hell's Kitchen' star's 14-year-old daughter is set to present her own kids cookery show 'Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch' on CBBC and has revealed that while her father may be famous for shouting and swearing on TV, her mum Tana is in charge at their house.
Introducing Gordon as "hard on the outside but soft and mushy on the inside", she said: "He is strict in a good way. I'd say Mum was stricter. Dad is all soft on the inside."
Speaking about her mother, she added: "She wears the trousers and is the only one dad's afraid of."
Tilly claims she enjoyed every minute of filming the new show and says her dad Gordon - who also has 14-year-old twins Jack and Holly and daughter Megan, 16, with Tana - has taught her everything she knows.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I love cooking and I love getting messy. I want people to enjoy food and have fun.
"I have been cooking for eight years now. I love it so much. Dad has taught me so much and given me so many tips on things like how to chop properly and taste food.
"But I definitely think I am the best cook! Mum and Dad are joint second!"
