Simon Cowell to make The X Factor Judges’ Houses live?

Simon Cowell wants to make the Judges' Houses stage of 'The X Factor' a live show.
The 55-year-old music mogul has ordered a shake up of the ITV singing competition and has reportedly suggested the popular stage of the show be aired live in a bid to make it more exciting.
A source shared: "Cowell wants to increase the drama and tension of the moment contestants are told they've got through.
"Judges' houses has always been one of the most talked about and watched parts of the series, and one idea being discussed is to make these episodes live. It would be an exciting innovation and make for real event TV."
However, producers are said to be concerned that broadcasting from four exotic locations across the globe could massively increase production costs.
The insider added to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It's going to be expensive as it will require four entire camera crews and teams for all four locations. There are lots of logistical and practical concerns to work through before we can go ahead, but Cowell thinks it will be worth it."
Judges' houses sees the remaining acts in each category perform in front of their mentor and a special guest judge and is usually recorded shortly after the audition stages.
A spokesperson for the show said: "There will be a number of changes to this year's 'X Factor' but it's too early to confirm what these will be at this stage."

Kym Marsh wants to ‘fix’ relationship with Dan Hooper

Kym Marsh wants to try and "fix" her relationship with estranged fiancé Dan Hooper.
It was revealed last week that the 'Coronation Street' star and the personal trainer had called off their engagement and Kym has now confirmed they are on a break but haven't totally given up on their romance yet.
Writing in her OK! magazine column, Kym revealed: "You'll have read the reports that Dan and I have taken a relationship break and I'm sorry to say that the news is true. It's been a really tough and upsetting time. It was a really difficult decision for us both to make but something we both mutually felt we had to do, as we both needed some space ... We need to figure out where things have gone wrong and see if we can fix it - I hope that we can."
Dan has moved out of Kym's Manchester home but the pair have been in daily contact since he left.
The pair celebrated their one-year anniversary in April and got engaged last December and were due to marry next year.
Although it's been hard for Kym in the wake of the trial separation, the 38-year-old star has had the love and support of her family to help her through this difficult time.
She said: "My family has been really supportive, particularly my mum ... I'm very lucky to have them all taking care of me. My friends have been amazing too. I think the key during difficult times is to keep busy ... Little Polly's been a breath of fresh air ... she always has the ability to make me laugh and that's definitely a good tonic at the moment."
Kym has three children, 20-year-old David and Emilie, 17, from her relationship with childhood sweetheart Dave Cunliffe, and four-year-old daughter Polly, from her marriage to Jamie Lomas, while Dan has two children of his own, including daughter Lexi with 'Hollyoaks' actress Stephanie Waring.

Sammy Winward joins Prey

Sammy Winward is to star in the second series of ITV drama 'Prey'.
The former 'Emmerdale' star has landed her first acting role since leaving the soap in February and will take on the part of Emma, the heavily daughter of prison officer David Murdoch - played by fellow new cast member Philip Glenister.
Sammy will appear alongside Rosie Caveliero who is reprising her role in the three-part series as DS Susan Reinhardt.
Also joining the cast of 'Prey' is 'Game of Thrones' actor Ralph Ineson, 'Misfits' star Nathan Stewart-Jarrett and 'Ripper Street' actress Myanna Buring.
Sammy played Katie Sugden in 'Emmerdale' for nearly 14 years but was killed off after deciding the time was right for her to move on.
Speaking about her exit, the blonde beauty said: "I've loved every second of playing Katie, but no one becomes an actor to play just one role, so now it's time for me to move on".
The second series of 'Prey' is currently in the middle of filming and will air on ITV later this year.

Millie Mackintosh: Made in Chelsea is trashy telly

Millie Mackintosh thinks 'Made in Chelsea' is "trash telly".
The 25-year-old blonde shot to fame on the reality TV show before deciding to leave in 2013 after shooting five seasons.
However, Millie doesn't think people should over-analyse the E4 programme as it's the lowest form of entertainment.
When asked why she thinks 'MIC' has been so popular, she said: "It's trash telly it's best! You can watch it at the end of a tough day, and it just drifts along as you dip in and out. Fabulous!"
Although Millie is realistic about the reality format in the pecking order of programming, she will be forever grateful for the opportunity she was given by producers.
Speaking to the Daily Telegraph newspaper, the fashion designer said: "'Made in Chelsea offered an amazing opportunity to me. Without it, I wouldn't be where I am today; it has opened so many doors."
Millie admits starring on the programme did take its toll on her as it became tough for her to differentiate between her real life and her "television life".
The beautiful blonde knew her it was time to walk away when he met her husband Professor Green - real name Stephen Manderson.
She explained: "Sometimes I honestly found it hard to differentiate what was my real life and what was my television life. I was swept up in socialising - I'd get 10 invitations a night, and I tried to pop into everything I could, which was exhausting ... I felt that it was time to leave Chelsea because without all the romantic drama, my character would seem quite dull. Although I persuaded Stephen to appear once, there was no question of him wanting to join the show."

Sheridan Smith ‘slept’ with Ricci Guarnaccio twice

Sheridan Smith reportedly "slept with" Ricci Guarnaccio twice last year.
The BAFTA award winning actress - who was in Leeds last November filming in the city - bumped into the Geordie Shore reality star on a night out and spent the night together at the Malmaison Hotel in Leeds.
A source told the Sun newspaper: "They started messaging on Twitter after discovering they were under the same roof.
"It didn't take long before they swapped room numbers.
Ricci's been with plenty of gorgeous women on 'Geordie Shore', but clearly Sheridan had some moves as he was back for more the next day."
The alleged incident reportedly happened after a Halloween night out with ex-'Geordie Shore' star Jay Gardner, while Sheridan had made the city her base while filming ITV thriller 'Black Work'.
The 28-year-old reality star - who was once engaged to Vicky Pattison - reportedly tried to woo the 'Cilla' actress again the following evening but was unsuccessful with his conquest.
Commenting on the story, Ricci's rep said: "It was a one-off. I manage his career not his sex life."
Sheridan has since found love with 'Hollyoaks' actor Greg Wood.

Danny Dyer wants a ‘Queen Vic’ style Cockney wedding

Danny Dyer is planning a Cockney themed reception for his wedding.
The 'EastEnders' star - who plays pub landlord Mick Carter in the BBC One soap - has revealed he will be serving up prawns and whelks to his guests when he ties the knot with the mother of his three children this summer.
The 37-year-old actor told Star magazine: "It's going to be in a register office, we'll have a few prawn vol-au-vents and a couple of whelks knocking about.
"We haven't set an exact date yet but it'll be in August."
The actor's long-term girlfriend Joanne proposed to Danny earlier this year after 20 years of dating, and speaking at the time, the Albert Square favourite admitted he never expected Joanne Mas to propose.
Danny said: "It was a complete bolt out of the blue but I'm so glad she did it because I don't think I could have taken the rejection"
However, Joanne explained she decided to pop the question because she didn't think Danny ever would.
She added: "I've always wanted to marry Danny and I decided that if I didn't get things moving, it would never happen."

Calum Best splits from ex Made In Chelsea star

Calum Best has split up from ex 'Made In Chelsea' star Ianthe Rose Cochrane-Stack.
The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' star confirmed he had ended things with the lingerie model earlier this month after nine months together, having previously claimed she was his "first love".
He told The Sun newspaper: "Sadly we have had to go our separate ways. She's the first girl I really loved and I cherish the time we spent together."
The news comes just two months after Calum - the son of the late footballer George Best - said he felt "settled" with Ianthe.
He previously said: "I'm settled. (Ianthe's) got me settled. We have been together now for quite some time. I'm crazy about her, she's an amazing woman, she helps keep me stable and that's that."
The 34-year-old originally met the beauty as she was starring in a music video for Olly Murs.
He recalled: "We met in Shoreditch. I had just got a tattoo, and was walking down the street, and she was shooting a music video for Olly Murs, and I walked by and said, 'Who's that beautiful girl?' and the rest is history."
Despite departing ways with the model, Calum hopes he can remain friends and has no bad feelings.
He added: "I wish her the best and sincerely hope we remain friends."

Adele Silva joins Hollyoaks

Adele Silva has joined the cast of 'Hollyoaks'.
The 34-year-old soap star - who played Kelly Windsor in 'Emmerdale' - has revealed she is "looking forward" to heading back to work with a new role in the soap after having her three-month-old daughter, Sienna Evie.
A TV spokesperson told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Adele can't wait to join the soap. At the moment, she is enjoying her time at home with Sienna but is looking forward to being back on screen later in the year."
Despite her role only being a guest stint, she is set to stir up things for the show's Blake family as their dark past unfolds.
This is the second big soap star to join the 'Hollyoaks' cast in recent months, as Zoe Lucker was introduced as Reenie McQueen in January.
Adele starred in ITV's 'Emmerdale' from 1993 to 2000 and came back in 2005, with her last episode in 2011.
During her time away from TV, the actress had three traumatic miscarriages before having baby Sienna with fiancé Oliver Farber, who she has since been "enjoying" precious time at home with.
