Emmerdale’s Michael Parr reveals on set antics

'Emmerdale' actor Michael Parr says life on set is full of "pranks" and "mischief".
The 28-year-old soap star - who worked in a crisp factory before finding fame on the ITV soap - joined 'Emmerdale' two years ago as one of the notorious Barton brothers Ross, and said he loves the laughs and real life antics they get up to during filming.
He said: "It literally couldn't be any more fun being on set with all the brothers, especially when we're all together at once. We tend to get a bit giddy or a little carried away when that happens.
"Kelvin Fletcher [Andy Sugden] loves making mischief - just before you're going for a take. he'll say something that puts a smile on your face, and you're thinking, 'Damn it, I'm meant to be serious here!' Kelvin's really funny - he's got the best banter in the whole cast.
In an interview with Inside Soap magazine the 28-year-old actor joked that even in the most intense scenes, anything can happen.
He said: "One particular moment springs to mind. It was for the episode where Charley Webb [Debbie Dingle] and I were running out of the hotel to get away from the gangster, Charlie. I'd been bombing it upstairs to escape from all the baddies who were chasing us, and during one of the takes I ended up with the biggest tear down my backside, all the way through my trouser legs. You could see my boxer shorts!"

Louis Smith loves Lucy Mecklenburgh’s bum

Louis Smith could stare at Lucy Mecklenburgh's bum for the rest of his life.
The Olympic gymnast has confessed that he is obsessed with his former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star girlfriend's body and defended posting a semi-naked picture of them both showing off their bums last month.
He said: "I prefer Lucy's bum to mine, obviously. If I had to stare at her bum or my bum for the rest of my life, it would be hers!"
The 26-year-old hunk - who met Lucy on the BBC show 'Tumble' - got in trouble with his girlfriend of six months when she found out he'd posted the cheeky snap on his Instagram account alongside the caption, 'Who has the better derriere?"
Explaining himself in an interview with new! magazine, Louis said: "I went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and she had just finished. I was looking at her bum in the mirror and I said, 'Let's have a compare off', and I took a picture. The next day I said I was going to post it and she was like, 'You'd better not!' But it was too late."
Proud Louis wasn't in trouble for too long and gushed that the perky pair are still in the honeymoon stage of their relationship.
The former 'Strictly Come Dancing' champion added: "She's so relaxed. I've only been in one other serious relationship and it was completely different ... There isn't any doubt of jealousy. She's just a lovely girl with lovely morals.
"It's all very honey-moon period!"

Craig Revel Horwood wants Dermot in same sex Strictly couple

'Strictly Come Dancing' judge Craig Revel Horwood wants Dermot O'Leary to dance in the first same sex couple on the show.
The outspoken star last week called for the format of the BBC One programme to be changed so it could feature either two men or two women dancing together.
Now he has called for former 'X Factor' host Dermot to be in that first all-male coupling.
During an appearance on 'This Morning', Craig said: "It would be wonderful to have Dermot O'Leary as part of one of those teams."
Craig also made a vow that he'd join the panel of 'The X Factor' if show boss Simon Cowell agrees to strut his stuff on the 'Strictly...' dancefloor.
He exclaimed: "I'll say this on national TV, I'll happily swap places, I'll go on the 'X Factor', if Simon Cowell comes on 'Strictly Come Dancing'!"
In his chat with Amanda Holden and Gok Wan on 'This Morning', Craig - who is openly gay - admitted he had hoped TV bosses would bring forward the change in to allow same sex couples, because he thinks it would give the viewers something completely new.
He said: "Oh I agree and I did say this to the press last week that I was rather hoping that we will have in a same sex couple, but I doubt that it will happen this year. Well I would love it to happen this year because it might put a spanner in the works too."

Michael Palin proud of Clangers job

Michael Palin is "proud and pleased" to be the voice of 'The Clangers' children TV series.
The 'Monty Python' star is thrilled to be narrating the the rebooted children's TV series, which is being revived 46 years after it first aired, and considers the project to be one of the "best things" he's been offered throughout his illustrious six-decade career.
He told Radio Times magazine: "I act as an observer to the planet, trying to work out what is going on. My favourite phrase is 'Oh dear'. And 'Oh dear' comes up a lot in the drama of the episodes!"
The Clangers are a family of mouse-like creatures who live on a planet similar to the moon.
The charming children's series was created in 1969 - just four months after Neil Armstrong landed on the moon - and ran for two series as one of first shows to be shown in colour on television.
The 72-year-old comedian recalled how he used to enjoy watching the cartoon with his sons Thomas and William.
Palin - who also has a daughter, Rachel, with his wife Helen - said: "Clangers was a haven. It was calm and very therapeutic. I loved the audacity of the swanee whistles and the wacky gentle humour."
And he hopes to bring the same warmth to the stories as the late Oliver Postgate - who created and narrated the original BBC One show.
He said: "I loved the tone that Oliver brought to the original. He did it in a nice, quizzical way. It was one of the great narrations of its kind."
The upcoming CBeebies reboot of 'The Clangers' cost £5 million to make and has been produced using the original stop-frame-animation technique with puppets, rather than CGI, in its 52-episodes.

The duo will present the new prime time Saturday night series which will feature 10 couples who are separated for six weeks but have still to work together on tasks to compete for a £1000,000 cash prize.
Emma said: "'Prized Apart' will be nail-biting, emotional and full of energy. I'll be there with the partners in the studio as they watch their loved ones go through their hellish challenges in mystery locations abroad. It should be lots of fun to see how far the contestants will go for their loved ones. I can't wait to get stuck in."
Reggie added: "I'll be getting to know the adventurers and will be with them every step of the way as they perform the tough challenges. It's going to be an incredible experience and I can't wait to get started."

BBC One's controller Charlotte Moore described Willis and Yates as the "perfect team" for the "game-changing Saturday night adventure show".

'Prized Apart' will air on BBC One later this month.

Kym Marsh has ‘no regrets’ following Dan Hooper split

Kym Marsh has "no regrets" following her split from Dan Hooper.
The 'Coronation Street' actress and her personal trainer fiance - who got engaged in December last year after just seven months of dating - revealed last month that they were on a break but Kym has now confirmed they've called time on their relationship for good after failing to resolve their issues.
She said: "Dan's a fantastic, lovely guy and I've never been happier than when things were working with us. But sometimes things just don't feel right no matter how much you want it to.
"I know some people will say we rushed in too quickly and things got too serious too fast, but I think you have to follow your heart and have no regrets."
The 38-year-old star - who has children Emily and David from a previous relationship and daughter Polly with ex-husband Jamie Lomas - went on to insist she and Dan will still remain friends despite deciding to go their "separate ways".
Writing in her column for OK! magazine, she added: "I'm sure Dan and I will keep in touch.
"He's been a hugely positive influence in not only my life but David, Emilie and Polly's lives too and I know they will keep in touch with him."

Chris Evans ‘secret Top Gear film’ for TFI Friday

Chris Evans' "secret 'Top Gear' film" is part of his 'TFI Friday' anniversary special.
The BBC Radio 2 DJ revealed he'd been working on a "secret" 'Top Gear' project on the weekend but it's now been claimed he's joined forces with axed presenter Jeremy Clarkson for a sketch for the Channel 4 show.
The former 'Top Gear' host - who was sacked by the BBC after he punched a producer in a row over a steak - hasn't been seen on TV since the incident but will make his return in the revival of the 90s show this weekend, the Daily Mirror newspaper reports.
Meanwhile, the 22nd series of the BBC motoring show - which Clarkson presented alongside close pals and colleagues Richard Hammond and James May - has now been completed and is set to air in the coming weeks.
It was previously claimed fans may never get to see the shelved footage after the broadcaster was forced to punish the controversial presenter for his unacceptable behaviour.
Although Clarkson does appear in the remaining episodes, only Hammond and May returned to the aircraft hanger studio in Dunsfold where they usually film in front of a live audience.
The location films, which were shot before the "fracas" between Jeremy and the producer, will be a final opportunity for viewers to see all three presenters on the much-loved motoring show.

Kirstie Allsopp turns barmaid for TFI Friday

Kirstie Allsopp will feature as a barmaid for Chris Evans' live special of 'TFI Friday'.
The 'Location Location Location' star - who is just as well known for her presenting skills as she is for her feminine dresses and rider boots - is set to feature as a bartender on the one-off the comeback of the Channel 4 show to mark the it's 20th anniversary.
Speaking of his excitement at bringing back the show, Chris told the Daily Mail newspaper: "I can't believe it's been almost 20 years since the first episode of TFI."
The flame-haired presenter had revealed this year that the much-loved cult show of the 90s was coming back to our living rooms but for one night only.
He said at the time: "The truth is, TFI was a show I came to love and loathe in equal measure. A show I both feared and looked forward to every Friday afternoon".
The program - which ran for four years - was graced with some of the biggest A-listers in the world from Paul McCartney and David Bowie to Jennifer Lopez and Dame Helen Mirren.
The Radio 2 DJ hosted the first five series, while the sixth and final was fronted by a number of celebrity guests including the Spice Girls, Davina McCall and Elton John.
Meanwhile, former 'Top Gear 'host Jeremy Clarkson is also set to make his return to television after being axed from the BBC motoring show earlier this year on 'TFI'.

Made In Chelsea Alex Mytton’s full-frontal photo bomb

'Made In Chelsea' star Alex Mytton's girlfriend has shared a photo of his private parts.
Nicola Hughes - who began dating the reality TV star earlier this year before joining the E4 show herself - appears to have been a victim of a cruel prank as a selfie in which Alex can be seen removing his towel to reveal his manhood alongside a close up of her own face was posted to her Instagram account alongside the caption, "haha".
The Irish model quickly deleted the snap - which was taken while the pair were enjoying a romantic holiday in Barcelona - and hinted that her pals were to blame for the obscene upload.
Writing on Twitter in a post that has since been deleted, she said: "I've really good friends... (sic)."
However, apparently unfazed by the embarrassing exposure, Alex also took to his social media accounts to poke fun at the situation.
He wrote on Twitter: "Remind me nor to go barca with my chick and her phone (sic)."
It's not the first time a 'Made In Chelsea' star has been at the centre of an inappropriate photo-storm as Louise Thompson was left red-faced earlier this year when a photo of her boyfriend Alik Alfus' manhood was posted on her Instagram account.
