Kelly Hoppen believes quitting 'Dragons' Den' was the "best decision" she has ever made.
The 55-year-old interior designer and former Dragon on the hit BBC show for two series unexpectedly quit so she could focus on spending time with her family and expanding her interior design website and insists she has no regrets about the decision.
She said: "Leaving was the best decision I ever made. I absolutely loved being on the show, but each pitch takes between one and one and a half hours and we do 100 of them over 20 days.
"You have to make investments in the people in front of you and they might not be the things you'd choose normally. When you invest, you've got to help run the business. I made a choice that I have one life and I'm trying to find more time, rather than fill my time."
And the entrepreneur revealed she may even head over to the US as she she wants to move into designing film sets.
She told HELLO! magazine: "I've pretty much ticked every box in terms of what I've wanted to design. I've done mansions, planes, boats, a hotel, even a gypsy caravan. I'm in talks about possibly doing film sets. It's a lot of work but I'm embracing different creative outlets."

The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star is one of eight singles to live in the villa in Mexico for an unforgettable holiday that will see them reunited with their ex boyfriend and girlfriends.

Katie Hopkins thinks Cheryl Fernandez-Versini needs "a good roast dinner".
The outspoken star has slammed the 'X Factor' judge after she showed off her tiny frame at auditions for the ITV talent show last week.
The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' contestant said: "I may not be a big fan of chubsters. But little Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is so tinky-tiny I feel cold when I look at her."
The 40-year-old star added in The Sun newspaper: "Cheryl, love, you need a good roast dinner and some thermals."
Cheryl, 32, shocked fans when she stepped out looking noticeably thinner than usual in a pair of tailored black trousers and matching crop top at the Manchester auditions.
However, the 'I Don't Care' singer recently spoke out against criticism of her weight after one of her Instagram followers commented that she looked like a "bag of bones".
The user wrote: "Bag of bones u looked so much healthier in the early girls aloud days with ur lovely curves (sic)."
Meanwhile, Cheryl responded: "I am so sick and tired of it being ok to call somebody too thin or a 'bag of bones'. I would never dream of calling somebody too fat and that they should maybe cut down on their food intake?
"What is the difference? You have no idea what I have been through. Just loosing my father in law v recently and everything that comes with that. Not that I am or should justify myself to anyone.
"I'm so f sick of people thinking it's ok to be mean or body shame anyone. And it's woman on woman. Have some respect and maybe think there may be reasons why before opening your mouth please (sic)."

'The Voice' could be axed by the BBC.
The singing competition - which has featured coaches including Sir Tom Jones, Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am and Rita Ora - could be cancelled as a new government review of the BBC's output gets underway.
The Conservative party's Culture Secretary John Whittingdale is to oversee the review and according to The Sunday Times newspaper his main issue is that the corporation spends too much money on producing programmes provided by other broadcasters, with 'The Voice' being singled out as the clearest example of this.
A source told Digital Spy: "Let's see what the green paper says, but the BBC doesn't nakedly chase viewers, but we do seek to make the good popular, and the popular good.
"Research has shown that an element of competition drives up quality across the industry. The voice of the public will be key and they will have their own view about the merits of BBC programmes like 'Strictly' [Come Dancing] and 'Sherlock'."
A green paper is to be released on Thursday (16.07.15) for the discussion of the BBC's role for parliament to debate, which will influence the show's survival.
A spokesperson for the BBC said: "The BBC's mission is to entertain as well as to inform and educate, and millions enjoy entertainment on the BBC every week. Of course there will be debate during Charter Review, but the BBC is here to serve everyone and it's important the voice of viewers and listeners is heard."

Stevi Ritchie "never thought" he'd "end up with a posh girl".
The former 'X Factor' contestant announced his engagement to Chloe Jasmine - who he met on the show last year - yesterday (12.07.15) and the cheeky chappie from Essex has confessed he never imagined he'd be preparing to tie the knot with someone like her.
He said: "I never thought I'd end up with a posh girl! Never in a million years."
However, Stevi thinks it's a good thing they're from such different backgrounds and is enjoying teaching her how to speak in a cockney accent.
He told ITV's 'This Morning': "Opposites attract don't they, most of the time."
Chloe added: "He's teaching me accents!"
Stevi - who has a young daughter from a previous relationship - surprised the blonde beauty by getting down on one knee after presenting her with a gift bag full of tissue paper and a newspaper with the ring hidden inside.
Speaking about how Chloe couldn't find the ring, he shared: "She went, 'Oh darling this is lovely', she thought it was like a teddy bear was going to jump out at her and I said, 'No, no, no babe search away, search away', and she said, 'What is it darling, what is it?' And I had to pull the ring out and put it on her finger."
The couple are now planning to walk down the aisle next year with Stevi's daughter as one of Chloe's bridesmaids.
He added: "We are thinking next summertime and yes, I want my daughter as a bridesmaid."

'Coronation Street' star Antony Cotton moonlights as a bingo caller.
The 39-year-old actor, who's starred as Sean Tully in the ITV soap since 2003, has revealed he works in bingo halls in his spare time as a means of boosting his bank balance.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I love bingo. My character in 'Coronation Street' was a bingo caller for a while so I've done my fair share of visits to bingo halls.
"An audience is an audience - it doesn't matter if it's in a theatre or a bingo hall."
Last month, Antony caused chaos on the set of the show when he opened a cut on his head, which required medical attention.
The injury caused Antony to be written out of some planned scenes, meaning a hasty script re-write was required.
Meanwhile, another scene featuring Antony had to be pushed back to give him sufficient time for the wound to heal.
Reflecting on the injury, a source said at the time: "It was a nasty accident. One minute Antony was standing there, the next we heard him shout out.
"He was clutching his head, blood pouring through his fingers."

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini won't put men through on 'The X Factor' just for being good-looking anymore.
The 32-year-old star has insisted she will no longer allow attractive male singers through to the next round of auditions solely on their looks rather than their vocal abilities as she has done in past series as it gives them "false hope".
She told the Daily Star newspaper: "I've put people through in previous years because I thought they were adorable. But I won't do that now. It's not fair."
The 'Crazy, Stupid, Love' singer has proven she isn't lying, as during auditions in Manchester last week she sent home a hunky guy despite describing him as "adorable".
Meanwhile, it's been reported that the 'Call My Name' singer and her fellow 'X Factor' boss Simon Cowell have been given luxurious Ryder vans to use as their dressing rooms, which are double the size of their new fellow judges Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora's spaces.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Simon's always enjoyed reflecting the pecking order of importance by dressing-room size.
"So as a result the new judges will have to slum it in standard for now. They don't seem to mind, though."

Chris Evans feels like "Doctor Who" stepping into 'Top Gear'.
The 49 year-old presenter says that he is aware that he has "big shoes" to fill as he takes over the popular BBC Two show from former front-man Jeremy Clarkson, 55, but explained that he has been in a similar situation before and is up for the challenge.
He said: "There have been 34 presenters before me, so it's a bit like 'Doctor Who'.
"When I took over Terry Wogan's Radio 2 show, people kept saying 'I had big shoes to fill' and they keep saying it again now.
"By the way, Jeremy is very tall, so they're even bigger shoes to fill."
And the flame-haired TV personality revealed why he originally ruled himself out of the running for the top spot.
He told BBC's Top Gear magazine: "I honestly didn't think I'd get the phone call - I was amazed that I did, to be honest.
"I ruled myself out because I didn't want to be part of all the nonsense that was going on. But then the situation changed, and I wasn't stepping on anybody's graves or toes.
"I was actually in the middle of preparing for 'TFI Friday' and I talked to Will (MacDonald from the Channel 4 show) and he said, 'Why would you not do this?' And that's the question. It wasn't 'Why would you do it?' but 'Why wouldn't you?' If I make television programmes for a living and love motor cars and love the biggest challenge in the world, why wouldn't I do it?"

Charlotte Crosby wants to "give birth on camera".
The 'Geordie Shore' star insists she has no plans to tone down her outrageous behaviour on the MTV show and would even like for viewers to see her become a mother on television.
Speaking about her plans for the future, she said: "I don't have a plan, I never have a plan. I 'd like to carry on what I'm doing. I'd like to be a part of 'Geordie Shore' until it ended. I'd like to carry on doing everything on camera. I'd like to give birth on camera, I'd do everything, no limits, there's none, the sky's the limit!"
The 25-year-old beauty - who previously dated co-star Gary 'Gaz' Beadle and is now back together with on/off boyfriend Mitch Jenkins - is famous for wetting herself on the reality show and she claims she's not bothered about people who criticise her for it.
She told ITV's 'Lorraine': "I'm not no, because it's so normal now.
"I would be embarrassed if people didn't like it ... I agree that some people don't like it but a lot of people laugh at it and I don't do it on purpose, it's purely because it's an accident.
"I'm not the type of person who sits and worries about things, I live life to the fullest and I don't stop for a second and think about people who I don't know and what their opinions are.
"As long as my friends and family still love us and accept us for who I am, that's all that I care about."
