Chris Evans’ Top Gear pub plans

Chris Evans plans 'Top Gear' in the pub.
The 49-year-old presenter has revealed he uses The Mulberry Inn in Chiddingfold, Surrey, which he owns, as a place to collate his ideas for the BBC show.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'm using the pub as the base for all my 'Top Gear' planning.
"We've had hundreds of ideas. We've got through a lot."
And Chris - who is taking over from Jeremy Clarkson as the show's front man - has previously admitted he feels like "Doctor Who" because of the amount of presenters who have come before him.
He said: "There have been 34 presenters before me, so it's a bit like 'Doctor Who'.
"When I took over Terry Wogan's Radio 2 show, people kept saying 'I had big shoes to fill' and they keep saying it again now. By the way, Jeremy is very tall, so they're even bigger shoes to fill."
And the TV personality has admitted he originally ruled himself out of the running because he didn't want to be part of the "nonsense", where former host Jeremy was accused of having a fracas with a producer.
He shared: "I honestly didn't think I'd get the phone call - I was amazed that I did, to be honest. I ruled myself out because I didn't want to be part of all the nonsense that was going on. But then the situation changed, and I wasn't stepping on anybody's graves or toes."

Jessica Raine refusing to play victims

Jessica Raine doesn't want to play victims.
The 'Call the Midwife' actress is set to star alongside David Walliams in the BBC's new drama 'Agatha Christie: Partners in Crime' and admits she was attracted to the role of Tuppence Beresford in the TV adaptation of the novel 'The Secret Adversary' because of her confidence.
Jessica explained: "She's not a victim, or in any way put upon. Tuppence is a heroine - I had in mind Kathleen Turner in 'Romancing the Stone' - and she hasn't had to overcome horrific sexual abuse to get there."
The 32-year-old star has previously criticised crime dramas for an over-reliance on violence against women and was thrilled this part was different.
She told Radio Times magazine: "It's become a top priority for me to try only to accept parts where the women is three-dimensional. It's easy to talk about 'strong female characters', but it's not about being strong, it's about being real, and with Tuppence, it was about being someone who is confident, front-footed, nosey and witty. She's a celever, resourceful woman who's always pushing, and I found that really rubbed off on me. In my own life, I found I was more open to adventure."

Billie Faiers torn between marriage and having baby

Billie Faiers doesn't know whether to get married or have another baby.
The 'Only Way is Essex' star is keen to walk down the aisle to wed fiance Greg Shepherd sooner rather than later, but she also doesn't want to leave it too long before having a sibling for daughter Nelly, 12 months.
Asked if she'll marry before having another baby, she said: "We don't know. We always said we want to get married this year or next, but, at the same time, we don't want to have a massive gap between Nelly and our next baby. We'd love to have another one."
And the couple still don't know what sort of wedding they want.
Billie added: "We can't decide if we want a big wedding here or a small wedding abroad. But we really want to get married and we can't wait."
However, they have already considered some of the details of their big day.
Billie told OK! magazine: "I haven't tried anything on yet, but I've decided I definitely want something more simple and fitted.
"I'm not going to have a big, poofy dress.
"Greg's sisters and [my sister] Sam will be bridesmaids and Nelly will be a flower girl."

Johnny Vegas’ welcomes baby boy

Johnny Vegas' wife Maia Dunphy has given birth to their first child.
The 'Benidorm' star, who already has son Michael, 10, from a previous relationship, has revealed he and the Irish TV presenter welcomed a baby boy into the world last Friday (17.07.15) and have named him Tom Laurence.
The 44-year-old comedian, whose real name is Michael Joseph Pennington, posted a photograph of three pairs of converse in different sizes, including a new pair for Tom, on his Instagram profile today (21.07.15), with the caption: "He's got his Mother's eyes & my taste in footwear. Tom Laurence, born last Friday, 7lb 2 ounces of nonstop pooing."
Maia also shared the same image on her profile, writing: "Our new man has his Dad's habits already. Tom Laurence arrived last Friday, at a civilised hour after lunch. 7lbs2"
Johnny, who married the brunette beauty in 2011, previously credited his older son for helping him to turn his life around, as he used to go on "four-day benders" before Michael was born.
He said: "When you have a child, it's suddenly that feeling of, 'I need to be around now and I want to be around.' It's not about you and in a great way that pulls you back from the abyss."
The couple announced they were expecting their first child on Twitter in January by posting a scan of their baby with a pint of Guinness photoshopped onto its belly.

Marnie Simpson kicked Ricky Rayment in stomach

Marnie Simpson has confessed to kicking Ricky Rayment during a fiery row.
The 'Geordie Shore' star admitted she lashed out at her fiance during an argument but immediately regretted it when she realised how upset he was.
She said: "We argue over stupid things. One time I kicked him in the stomach and I felt really guilty. I almost cried about it. He was upset."
However, the brunette beauty insists she and the former 'Only Way Is Essex' star never stay mad at each other for long.
She explained: "When we have an argument we just laught about it and then have make-up sex!"
Marnie is now planning to walk down the aisle with Ricky despite only meeting him in January.
She told Star magazine: "[We're getting married] very soon! I've always pictured myself being a young mum and bride ... I want to marry him, I love him. He's going to be the father of my kids one day."
Asked if she's worried about the possibility of bumping into Ricky's ex-girlfriend and former 'TOWIE' co-star Jess Wright when she relocates from Newcastle to Essex, Marnie added: "Oh my God, that's what I've been thinking! What if I go to the gym and she's there? I feel very nervous. I've got not beef with her but it would be awkward."

Coronation Street’s Jason Grimshaw to get more aggressive

Ryan Thomas is enjoying playing his 'Coronation Street' character's grittier side.
The 31-year-old actor has played builder Jason Grimshaw on the ITV soap for 15 years but has revealed viewers will soon see a more aggressive side to him after it was revealed he will be the victim of a brutal attack set up by Sean Ward's character Calum Logan.
He said: "It's been great. Sean is really amazing. He's a breath of fresh air. Him and Terence [Maynard], who plays my dad - I've been working with them both a lot.
"It's different for Jason's character because he's normally playing the lovable family guy. It's just a change of character for him where he gets to be a little bit more aggressive and protective over his family and people around him. He's got a lot to do with Sarah and Bethany (Platt), protecting them and the Platts. There's a lot of fighting going on!"
Ryan - who has daughter Scarlett with co-star and ex-girlfriend Tina O'Brien - also joked that he got in trouble for snoring on set following a recent holiday.
He told ITV's 'This Morning': "There are great hospital scenes. I came back from Ibiza on the Sunday, I was in work on the Monday and I slept all day in a hospital bed! The director said to me, 'Can you stop snoring?' It was the best bit of acting I've ever done."

Cheryl Fernandez Versini branded ‘fake as s**t’

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has been branded "fake as s**t" by one of her former 'X Factor' contestants.
The 'Only Human' singer mentored Katie Waissel on the 2010 series of the show but the 29-year-old hopeful insists she had to turn to the other judges for support as the former Girls Aloud singer was only interested in smoking and "staring at her diamonds".
Katie said: "I think she's just there for the money. People think I have this huge thing against Cheryl and granted, I do. I'm p***ed off for various reasons. If you ask me, she is as fake as s**t.
"I just think there's no substance to her. She can be very abrupt and rude. I don't think she's a very nice human.
"My advice to anyone who's going to be on the show would be to f***ing beg to get someone else as mentor.
"I told [Rita Ora] I hung out with Simon and Louis Walsh and Cheryl sat with her Benson & Hedges in her dressing room staring at her diamonds."
Katie - who is friends with new judges Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw - urged any contestants under Cheryl's mentorship to instead seek advice from show boss Simon Cowell.
Asked if she has any tips for this year's contestants, she told Star magazine: "Go and knock on Simon Cowell's door. His MI5 security may be a little scary, but bring him a pack of cigarettes and he'll be fine. Don't feel pressured into being Cheryl's b***h."
Despite not having chart success since she competed on the show, Katie claims she was approached to join the judging panel this year.
She said: "We were talking about it but it didn't make sense this year because I've been in hiding recording music for two years. But maybe I'll turn up for Simon's Judges' Houses..."

Kristina Rihanoff tells Twitter troll to ‘get a life’

Kristina Rihanoff has told a Twitter troll who claimed she needs to stop "s**gging other women's husbands" to "get a life".
The 'Strictly Come Dancing' professional hit back after a number of users on the social networking site criticised her for her relationship with former contestant Ben Cohen, who split from his wife following his stint on the show.
Responding to a troll who tagged her in a post saying, "get Rhianoff to stop s**gging other women's husbands its common", Kristina wrote: "@hannahr391956 how pathetic your life must be if you find time to tweet something like this. Poor you. Get a life ? Or an education or both (sic)."
The 37-year-old beauty - who was sent a poem about karma by Ben's estranged wife Abby on the weekend - also claimed the constant controversy surrounding her reported relationship with the former rugby star is providing her with more material for a tell-all book.
Responding to a message from a fan saying, "I feel sorry for @KRihanoff. No matter what has gone on no one should be publicly humiliated and bullied. #stay strong" (sic), Kristina said: "it's all good. Just more stuff for my book to write. Thanks for support xx (sic)."
Meanwhile, Abby - who was branded "pathetic" for sending the poem to Kristina - has insisted people wouldn't be so quick to judge if they knew the "truth" about her split from Ben.
The mother-of-two - who has daughters Harriette and Isabelle with the 36-year-old hunk - wrote on Twitter: "If you actually knew the truth then you wouldn't write that! (sic)"

Jamelia signs up for Strictly Come Dancing

Jamelia has signed up for 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 'Loose Women' panelist was previously reported to have signed up for the latest series of 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!', but has now snubbed the ITV reality show in favour of the BBC dance competition, as it's closer to home and she wants to focus on "being a mum" to her daughters Teja, 14, and eight-year-old Tiani.
A friend of Jamelia said: "Jamelia's been wanted by both shows for a number of years but Strictly makes more sense to her because it will allow her to continue being a mum and to work on 'Loose Women'."
The 'Superstar' singer, 34, is already said to be a "hot favourite" on the dance show, due to her entertainment background, despite the fact the line-up has not even been announced yet.
A 'Strictly' source told The Sun newspaper: "Jamelia is going to be a hot favourite right from the start. She's stunning, has long legs and is experienced with dance routines because of her pop past.
"We expect her to be at the standard of Pixie Lott, who did really well last year."
Other celebrities being lined up to appear on the 2015 series of the show include former 'The One Show' host Adrian Chiles, 'The X Factor's Joe McElderry, Michelle Heaton, former 'Coronation Street' actress Georgia May Foote and Kirsty Gallacher.
