Leslie Ash is in talks for 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'
The former 'Men Behaving Badly' actress could be set to enter the Australian jungle later this year as she hopes to get back to work following an 11-year battle with MRSA.
Leslie, 55, contracted the bacterial infection in 2004 but has recently come off medication permanently.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "While Leslie can walk again, she still sometimes uses a stick because of some balance issues which might rule her out of some challenges.
"Bosses are currently seeing people about this year's series and Leslie would be a great contestant if it could be made to work."
Leslie admitted on ITV's 'Lorraine' recently that she had come off her anti-depressants because she didn't like taking them.
She said: "I just thought, 'Actually, I don't like them.' You have big bits of your life missing."
The actress also told host Lorraine Kelly she was walking again and overcoming her illness with physical exercise.
Leslie added: "It's taken about 11 years from doing Pilates, yoga... you find a balance of what works for you.
"So I work very hard at my fitness and to train my body to balance using different neurological pathways."

Jack P. Shepherd is convinced something will go wrong on the forthcoming live episode of 'Coronation Street'.
The 27-year-old actor - who plays villainous David Platt - is feeling "very nervous" ahead of next month's special programme and thinks there'll be a hitch as previous unrecorded shows have gone so smoothly for the cast.
He said: "Yeah, everyone is [nervous]. We've done two now and they've gone very well with no cock-ups.
"So when this third live episode got announced, I was thinking, 'Surely we're going to go wrong on this one?' "
And Jack admitted he and his on-screen family, particularly Les Dennis - who plays his stepdad Michael Rodwell - are particularly bad at laughing when shooting a scene.
He told Heat magazine: "We did a scene yesterday, all the Platts were there and we were all p**sing ourselves laughing. And it wasn't even funny, what we were talking about.
"We did the scene and none of us looked at anyone, we were all looking at separate corners of the room while saying our lines.
"Les Dennis is the worst. The thing is, as soon as Les is in a scene, you automatically laugh at him, just because it's Les Dennis.
"Also, he'll just laugh in our faces when the camera is on us and not on him. He's awful."

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is planning to throw her shoe at Simon Cowell if he annoys her.
The 'Only Human' singer is "still rowing" with her fellow 'X Factor' judge, and though she insists their disagreements are "playful", she is already thinking of ways to reprimand him when he gets on her nerves.
She said: "We're still rowing but it's playful. He knows which buttons to press.
"He won't let me change seats. Sometimes I want to move away from him but won't let me and that winds me up.
"I've got to work on not retaliating. I don't think I'll be throwing glasses of water on him - it might have to be something a little heavier. Maybe I'll use a high heel."
Rita Ora and Nick Grimshaw have replaced Mel B and Louis Walsh on the judging panel and Cheryl loves working with the newcomers because they make her laugh so much.
She told British HELLO! magazine: "Rita's got a unique way of mixing her metaphors. She says thins like, 'I feel like a fish out of water that just got turned over by a bus.' She has her own language.
"Nick is hilarious. He cracks me up and he likes to talk.
"As much as Louis was a big part of the show, I'm enjoying the new panel. I think Louis was bored with himself towards the end."

Former 'Apprentice' star Stuart Baggs died from an asthma attack.
The 27-year-old entrepreneur passed away in Douglas, Isle of Man last week and a statement released by the Isle of Man Constabulary earlier today (06.07.15) has confirmed that the cause of death was in fact the common respiratory condition.
The statement read: "Mr Baggs had suffered from asthma for many years and died as a result of his condition.
"It is clear that this is a tragic and premature loss of such a hardworking and visionary young man. We extend our thoughts to the family at this sad time."
The postmortem on Stuart's body - which was found by police after they were called to an address on Central Promenade in the island's capital - was originally inconclusive, leading to unanswered questions about the reality TV star's sudden death.
However, Isle of Man Police reassured the public that there was "no reason to view the circumstances as suspicious".
The Plymouth-born businessman lived on the island for most of his life and ran a telecommunications company.
Lord Alan Sugar was among those who paid tribute to Stuart after his death, describing him as a "stand out" contestant on the show.
He wrote: "Terrible news Stuart Baggs has died. My sincere condolences to his family and friends RIP one of the stand out characters of 'The Apprentice' (sic)."

Sir Roger Moore has led tributes to George Cole, who's died aged 90.
The 'James Bond' legend described the TV and film star - best known for his lead role in the British comedy-drama series 'Minder' between 1979 and 1994 - as "a lovely actor" and "a gentleman".
He wrote on Twitter: "How sad to hear George Cole has gone to that great cutting room in the sky. A lovely actor. A gentleman."
The British Film Institute expressed its sympathy for George's family on the social media site, while 'Little Britain' comedian Matt Lucas has shared fond memories of being a young 'Minder' fan.
He wrote: "When I found out that George Cole used to live in our flat, I dug out my old 'Minder' poster.
"I was such a fan of 'Minder' that me and my friend Nick infiltrated the set in 1991 and got ourselves onscreen!"
Meanwhile, 'The IT Crowd' actor Graham Linehan re-tweeted Matt's homage and said that news of George's death had come as a shock.
He wrote: "George Cole gone. That hit me harder than I would have thought. I guess Minder occupies a greater place in my memory shack than I knew."
George was a household name throughout the 1980s thanks to his starring role as Arthur Daley in 'Minder' and his appearances in four 'St Trinian's' films as businessman Flash Harry alongside the likes of Terry Thomas and Sid James.
He also appeared opposite Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and Rex Harrison in the 1963 movie 'Cleopatra'.

Katie Hopkins has been banned from filming her TV show outside.
The 40-year-old TV personality wanted to film video chats with members of the public for her new show 'If Katie Hopkins Ruled The World', but health and safety representatives rejected the idea as they were scared she may be targeted by people who hate her.
A show source revealed: "Katie wanted to give the show an extra dimension by going out and about.
"But she was told they were worried she'd get attacked so wouldn't agree to insure her."
And the team behind the show were so afraid for her safety they enforced strict checks for audience members in the studio in case they had brought weapons to injure the controversial journalist.
The source told the Daily Star newspaper: "They were checking for weapons. They know Katie's opinions have made her unpopular so didn't want to take any chances."
Katie - who finished second in 'Celebrity Big Brother' earlier this year - has teased viewers can expect her to be just as outspoken as usual in the first episode, which will be broadcast on TLC at 10pm this evening (06.08.15) and will feature guests Gemma Collins and Liz Jones.
Speaking about the programme, she said: "I think it's quite fierce. People are looking for a voice. We appreciate there is no longer a way of telling it like it is. There is a restriction on British people having a British sense of humour. I think this show brings that back."

Tamzin Outhwaite is taking "some time out" from acting to be with her children.
The 'New Tricks' actress split from her 'Miranda' actor husband, Tom Ellis in 2013 and since then she has found juggling work and caring for their daughters seven-year-old Florence and four-year-old Marnie tough because of work commitments.
She said: "I'm taking some time out, having the gap year I've never had. I'll have as much time off as it takes to hang out with the girls because it feels like they need me at the moment. It got to the stage where I was worried about the hours I was doing. What with filming and my theatre commitments, I was literally working from 6am until 7pm or 8pm - and barely seeing my kids."
The 44-year-old blonde beauty reprised her role as DCI Sasha Miller for the 12th and final installment of BBC drama 'New Tricks', but has refused to take on any other work despite finding it "difficult" to turn down offers because she still loves acting.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I used to worry that people would forget me or I won't work again after. But now I realise it doesn't even matter; it's much more important to be with my children. My kids are much more important than my career.
"I can't predict what's going to happen with that but I do know that my children are going to get older and if I'm not around to witness some of it then that's going to be a sad thing.
"But I am finding it difficult when my agent calls with work and I have to turn it down because I do still love acting. My need to be with my daughters though is much stronger than my need to continue working."

The former 'Coronation Street' actor has confirmed he ended his marriage in November last year after 10 years together and says their "absolute priority" is the welfare of their children, five-year-old Sophia Melody and 12-year-old Olivia.
In a statement, the TV comic said: "Sadly our marriage has irretrievably broken down. We have now been separated since November 2014 and we are currently in the final stages of a divorce. The priority is the welfare of our children and we ask that you please respect our privacy at this time."
