Tove Lo loathed her body as a teen

Tove Lo "hated" her body when she was a teenager.
The ‘Cool Girl’ hitmaker has opened up for the first time about her lack of body confidence when she was going through puberty and has admitted she felt "very uncomfortable" with how her body changed.
She said: "I haven’t talked about it a lot, but in my early teens, when my body started to develop I hated everything about it. I was very uncomfortable."
However, when she started to get into music and formed a band, she learned to love her appearance and found it "liberating".
She told NME magazine: "It’s a liberating amazing thing. to be comfortable with my body.
"I’m healthy and it works for the most part it does what it’s supposed to."
Now Tove – whose real name is Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson – has made flashing her nipples a regular part of her shows, but while she is confident she said there is too much "pressure" and "emphasis" on women looking perfect.
She explained: "It’s not that important. We put so much pressure and emphasis on looks. People think it’s what they should be focusing on, but it’s really not. It’s OK not to be beautiful."
Meanwhile, the 29-year-old pop beauty – who recently released her album ‘Lady Wood’ – has called for it to be ok for women to be seen naked and not be sexualised.
She said: "In the media whenever you see a naked woman it’s always sexualised, or to please someone else’s eyes.
"I want to get to a place where women can be naked the same way that men can – funny naked or naked just to be naked."
Tove previously said she will never stop showing her breasts in public.
She shared: "I started just by showing a little bit of boob or just being sassy and everyone got so excited and then one night I just did it.
"I was like ‘Why should I not be able to do it?’ I should just do it if I want to and everyone gets so amped up and a lot of girls, and guys, are flashing me now and taking their clothes off. It get’s very heated and I like that."
