This Morning mouse caught

The ‘This Morning’ runaway mouse has finally been caught.
Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby were thrilled when they found out the little rodent that had been wreaking havoc in the show’s studio over the past few days by nibbling through cables and dropping poops on the floor had been stopped in its tracks.
Phillip said: "The one that we caught this morning, we’ve let it go out on to the south bank so we’ll just wait until it comes back again because that’s what they usually do."
The staff at the brunchtime show opted to use a humane mouse trap – which entices the rodent into a tube using food – rather than a device that ends the little creature’s life.
However, earlier on in the show, the presenting duo were considering bringing in a cat to catch the mouse for them if the humane trap hadn’t worked the first time round.
The silver fox host said: "So if the humane tracks, Nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread) and all of that doesn’t work then we are going to have to bring a cat in. It’ll chew through the cables and we’ll be very PC (politically correct) as the place burns down."
Phillip and Holly were left squirming in Tuesday’s (10.01.17) show after the crew spotted the little animal after it ran across the studio during an ad break.
Holly said: "We have a mouse, during the break it ran out and was by a pillar. I love the way that you (crew member) decided the best way to catch it was by using a brass pot.
"There’s more than one in here. There’s one that lives over there and there’s one that lives over here and I think they were enticed out by the drum. They liked the sound."
Phillip added: "Because the one that was sitting listening to health headlines was sitting there looking like: ‘Oh I like this.’ I like mice, I think they’re sweet.
Holly concluded: "I don’t like it when they’re not self-contained."
