The Duchess of Cambridge is waiting for her eggs to hatch into chicks

The Duchess of Cambridge and her family are waiting for their eggs to hatch into chicks.
The 35-year-old royal and her 34-year-old husband Prince William have "lots of eggs" in incubation at their home and the couple’s two children Prince George, three, and Princess Charlotte, two, are waiting in anticipation for "anything" to happen.
A student from Vauxhall Primary School , Rehanna, recalled a conversation she shared with Duchess Catherine about the animals she owns during the school’s visit to Wick Court on Wednesday (03.05.17). She explained to The Times newspaper: "She said she had lots of eggs in an incubator and they were hoping they would hatch into chicks."
Rehanna’s teacher, Nicola Preston, added: "The incubator is relatively new and she doesn’t know if it is going to work.
"She says it takes 21 days but George and Charlotte are so excited that they come down each morning and peer inside to see if anything has happened."
Catherine, Prince William, George and Charlotte also own a pet dog named Lupo, a hamster called Marvin, as well as five chickens.
The 50-year-old stockman, Dave Evansoneya, said: "She has got several Cuckoo Marans at home, she told me."
And although the family do not own any pigs, yet, Catherine – who was formerly known as Kate Middleton before she married William – is "very natural" around the animals and appeared to be an expert at pig-weighing.
The farm manager said: "I don’t know if she has ever done pig-weighing before, but she was very natural."
