The Dare, Bolis Pupul, Angelica Garcia and more set to rock The Great Escape 2024

The Great Escape Festival has added new names including The Dare, Bolis Pupul, and Angélica Garcia.

The Brighton music event to highlight emerging talent will return to the seaside resort in East Sussex, England, from May 15 to 18, and the lineup has grown by 100 artists.

As well as US indie-sleaze stars The Dare, Belgian artist Bolis Pupul and US singer-songwriter Angelica Garcia, hyperpop duo Frost Children, blues and roots guitarist Muireann Bradley, Korean rockers Jambinai, Melbourne indie trio Tamara and The Dreams, and many more are on the stacked bill.

Jazzy producer Michael Diamond, producer-and-vocalist KIIMI, and British-Burmese singer and DJ Lucy Tun, electro group YARD have also joined the lineup.

What’s more, The Great Escape has announced 2024’s first TGE Presents show, in partnership with Ticketmaster New Music, which takes place on 22 February at London’s Old Blue Last.

The free entry event will be headlined by London art-rock six-piece Flat Party, with special guests in gritty punk-tinted five-piece Saloon Dion and gothic shoegaze quintet Velvetine.

The likes of Ellie Goulding, Chase and Status and Rebecca Black have previously performed at TGE.
