Take That sing with Lulu

Take That were joined on stage by Lulu and Sigma at London’s Hyde Park on Saturday (09.07.16) night.
The British trio – comprised of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald – headlined the Barclaycard British Summer Time festival with a career-spanning set, and their 1993 collaborator drew huge cheers when she stepped out to perform their duet ‘Relight My Fire’.
And after Lulu left the stage, production duo Sigma made an appearance for their recent collaboration ‘Cry’.
The group’s set had been opened by a tenor, who performed ‘Nessun Dorma’ before Take That stepped out with a stream of carnival dancers and flag-bearers, with ticker tape showering the audience during their first song ‘Shine’, which ended in a firework spectacular.
Mid-set, the trio paid homage to their early boyband days with a string of their first hits, including ‘A Million Love Songs’, ‘Everything Changes’ and ‘Could It Be Magic’, while their rendition of ‘Pray’ was accompanied by the original dance routine for the 1993 track.
The set ended with singalong classics ‘Rule the World’ and ‘Never Forget’.
Earlier in the day, the open-air venue saw performances from former Wanted singer Nathan Sykes, ‘Wasn’t Expecting That’ hitmaker Jamie Lawson, Ella Eyre and Olly Murs.
During his set, which took place immediately before Take That’s, Olly invited Ella on stage with him to perform their duet ‘Up’.
