Susanna Reid wins big at National Reality TV Awards

Susanna Reid took home three prizes at the 2018 National Reality TV
Awards on Tuesday night (25.09.18).
The 47-year-old presenter was thrilled about beating her ‘Good Morning
Britain’ co-host Piers Morgan to the Best TV Presenter prize, and
admitted the controversial journalist will be "gutted" when she faces
him on the ITV show this morning (26.09.18).
Speaking at the ceremony – which saw stars of ‘Love Island’,
‘Celebrity Big Brother’ and more in attendance – at London’s
Porchester Hall, she told The Sun Online: "This is one I am most proud
of because Piers was nomainted for this too, but I won!
"People love to hate him.
"It’s a shame he didn’t win this, but it’s absolutely thrilling that I did.
"But in all seriousness I’m nothing without him.
"I’m just glad I don’t have to spend the night with him as well as the morning!"
Susanna also took home Celebrity Personality of the Year and ‘GMB’ was
named Best Talk Show, and she admitted she’ll be "rubbing" the former
prize in Piers’ "face" as he wasn’t shortlisted.
She said: "He will be absolutely gutted [that I won] especially
because he wasn’t even on the nomination list.
"He didn’t just fail to win it, he utterly failed to even be nominated.
"He’s in tomorrow so I’ll be taking the mick and rubbing it in his face."
Piers has signed a contract until 2019 for ‘GMB’ and Susanna joked
that her reaction to the news was "un-broadcastable".
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It was un-broadcastable. I had to
take my microphone off, but it has worked out brilliantly. We are
firing all cylinders and I love working with him – it’s great.
"It’s like looking after a toddler, it’s enough for me to look after
my children at home and then I have to cope with him throwing his toys
out the pram in the morning."
