Mark Wright is feeling less scared about his wedding thanks to ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The 27-year-old Essex lad is set to marry former ‘Coronation Street’ actress Michelle Keegan next year, and explained that before he appeared on the BBC ballroom show, he was terrified about having all eyes on him and his wife during their first dance.
He admitted: "I used to feel the pressure of thinking, ‘What am I going to do when it comes to the first dance? How am I even going to move? I don’t know how to dance to a beat.’
"Now I’ve been on ‘Strictly…’ I do feel a bit safer about it."
However, the Heart radio DJ said he is not planning on celebrating his nuptials with an impressive dance number, and is instead hoping to keep it fairly low-key when it comes to grooving at their wedding reception.
In an interview with HELLO! magazine, he explained: "Your wedding dance is just a sway, isn’t it?
"It’s not going to be a big choreographed showpiece."
The former ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star – who sailed through to next week’s show after performing a Waltz to ‘Weekend in New England’ on Saturday evening (08.11.14) – has been helping out his dance partner Karen Hauer, who is also set to tie the knot next year to her fellow dancer Kevin Clifton.
The 32-year-old hunk confessed: "I’m seriously freaking out a bit,
"If I have any questions, like where to honeymoon, Mark always has lots of ideas.
"I’ll definitely be calling Mark and Michelle and going, ‘Can you guys help out?’ "
