Star Wars Identities: The Exhibition is coming to London

‘Star Wars’ creators have announced that ‘Star Wars Identities: The Exhibition’ is coming to London.
With the new film in the franchise ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ set for release in December 2016, in collaboration with Lucasfilm, Montreal’s X3 Productions have decided to roll out extensive archive collection which is currently on a world tour, will next stop off at London’s The O2.
More than 200 props, models, costumes – including bounty hunter Boba Fett’s armour and various Stormtroopers – and artwork will go on display enabling fans to get up close to the characters of the original ‘Star Wars’ trilogy, the prequels and TV’s ‘Clone Wars’.
The groundbreaking exhibition explores the complex notion of identity through the characters of ‘Star Wars’ with visitors taken on an interactive identity quest, leaving with their own personalised and unique ‘Star Wars’ character.
Jacques-André Dupont, president and executive producer of X3 Productions, said: "This exhibition offers a fresh perspective on the beloved characters of Star Wars. We get a deeper understanding of their identities, and, at the same time, we get a deeper understanding of our own.
"The collection, the interactive components, and the scientific content work hand in hand here to create a seamless and exciting experience for our visitors. It’s a character-driven adventure into identity."
The exhibitions runs from November 18, 2016 to September 3, 2017 with tickets going on sale at www.theo2.co.uk/starwars this Friday (30.09.16).
‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ stars Felicity Jones, Forest Whitaker, Riz Ahmed, Mads Mikkelsen, Ben Mendelsohn and Diego Luna and is set before the events of original 1977 ‘Star Wars’ film ‘Episode IV: A New Hope’.
