Sinitta axed from The X Factor

Sinitta has been axed from ‘The X Factor’.
The ‘So Macho’ hitmaker was expected to jet out to Los Angeles, California, this week to assist her best friend Simon Cowell in the Judges’ Houses round of the singing show, but she has now been dropped and replaced with Mel B after producers thought she would create a "fix scandal".
Simon explained: "I know she’s not happy [about being dropped at the last minute] but there’s always next year."
The 52-year-old singer was reportedly ditched from the popular show as she previously managed The Brooks – the Welsh twins who auditioned for the show last weekend – and fans believe the talented duo are at an unfair advantage.
However, Sinitta – who met the twins at her church – is adamant she stopped managing the group once they applied for the show in order to prevent any "fix" rumours circulating.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: "It’s mental if I have been thrown off the show because of this [her connection to The Brooks]. There always has to be a scapegoat I guess."
However, a spokesperson for the show is adamant her link to the boys has nothing to do with her getting the chop.
The representative told the publication: "Mel B was the perfect choice for the Judges’ House role."
Meanwhile, it’s hardly surprising Sinitta is angry about the outcome as she’s assisted the judges – either Simon or Louis Walsh – on the programme since it began in 2004.
She’s also featured heavily on the spin-off show ‘The Xtra Factor’ over the years and dished her opinions on acts.
