Sia and Pink team up on new single Waterfall

Sia and Pink have teamed up on new song ‘Waterfall’.
The 41-year-old Australian pop beauty and the ‘Trouble’ hitmaker have provided the vocals for the track, which has been co-written by superstar producers and songwriters Stargate – Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen – Sia, Major Lazer’s Diplo and Jr Blender, and has a dancehall feel to it.
Sharing a clip of the song on their Instagram account, Stargate wrote: "Setting fires with @pink and @siathisisacting! hit that link in the profile to pre-save our new song #Waterfall to your @spotify #whoisstargate (sic)"
Stargate – who are famed for their work with Rihanna, Beyonce and Coldplay – have recently inked a new deal with Sony RCA for an album, which the track will be released on.
It is the first new music from Pink, 37, since last year’s ‘Just Like Fire’.
Sia has been owning the charts with ‘Cheap Thrills’ and ‘Living Out Loud’.
And Stargate have been busy working on Charli XCX’s new record with producer SOPHIE.
The ‘After the Afterparty’ pop singer has teamed up with both of her longtime collaborators for her third studio LP.
The ‘Doing It’ hitmaker said she got them together because she wanted to mix their different styles to make a record of "progressive pop music".
She previously said: "I think it always needs a shake up and I think multiple artists do that but I want to push it.
"I’ve been collaborating with people from PC Music so that’s been very inspiring for me – the way they think about music and the way that they create music and transferring that into like a more pop realm is something that is cool and yeah, it’s next level! I’m not really saying too much about it right now because I just want it to talk for itself. And it will."
‘Waterfall’ will be released on Friday (10.03.17).
