Jackie Chan mistook Prince William for Prince Harry when he met him.
The Hong Kong born action movie legend greeted the third in line to the English throne at a reception following the Illegal Wildlife Trade conference in London on Wednesday (12.02.14), where he made the gaffe of confusing him with his brother by congratulating him on his recent trek to the South Pole.
Jackie told The Times newspaper: "Prince William said, 'No, that was my brother,' and I said, 'I'm sorry.' But they look almost same, huh?"
The Prince laughed off Jackie's mistake and shook hands with him. For many people from different cultures, the easiest way to tell the two princes apart is by the colour of their hair. While William is fair, his brother sports a darker, coppery tone.
'Rush Hour' star Jackie is a spokesman for wildlife charity WildAid and is passionate about the animal rights, saying he refuses food at government functions if it comes from endangered species.
He previously said: "Ten years ago, when I was making a film in China, the government brought me a dinner.
"I sit down; boom - they give me shark fin soup. I said, 'Put it away.' "
Meanwhile William and Harry were both at the function to support their father, the Prince of Wales, who gave a speech.
He called for "urgent action to put a stop to this trade, which has become a grave threat not only to the wildlife and the people who protect them, but also to the security of so many nations."

Emma Bunton was serenaded by her lover Jade Jones and his band Damage for Valentine's Day (14.02.14).
The former Spice Girl expressed her shock when her beau Jade surprised her live on air with a dozen red roses and a special performance of 'Love to Love' with his recently reunited group, during her radio show on Heart FM this morning.
While co-host Jamie Theakston was in on the stunt, Emma had been blindfolded and was unaware her boyfriend had been planning the romantic gesture after the group - which includes Coree Richards, Rahsaan J Bromfield and Noel Simpson - hid on the floor above her studio before sneaking up on her from behind.
Upon taking off her blindfold, Emma admitted she was relieved to see her beau as she said: "Oh My goodness! I'm so glad it was you! I thought who is kissing me! Oh my god!"
Damage recently reformed for ITV2 show 'The Big Reunion' after they decided to call time on their pop career in 2001, and Emma admitted she was happy to see the entire group together in the studio.
She gushed: "I got all of the Damage boys as well, not just one! Thank you so much."
The grand gesture was a reassuring for Emma, who believed Jade had forgotten about Valentine's Day when he failed to buy her any gifts for the romantic day.
Emma - who has been in a relationship with Jade since 1997 and has two sons, Tate and Beau, with him - said: "I was going to phone you because I didn't get a card."

Demi Lovato doesn't think Joe Jonas is the cutest member of the Jonas family.
The 21-year-old singer appeared on E!'s 'Chelsea Lately' show last night (13.02.14) where she admitted that although she dated The Jonas Brothers star when the pair were teenagers she doesn't think he's the best looking sibling in the now defunct band.
When asked which member of the group was "the cute one", Demi told host Chelsea Handler: "They have a new niece, and she's really, really cute."
Referring to eldest brother Kevin's new daughter Alena Rose, the 'Heart Attack' hitmaker managed to dodge the question of whether she thought one of her ex-lover's siblings was better looking, but went on to reveal that her relationship with Joe wasn't as serious as people thought.
She added: "We dated for like a month. Everyone made it seem like it was this big, big deal."
Despite admitting that their relationship wasn't serious, Demi has remained close with the Jonas family and even hired her former 'Camp Rock' co-star Nick Jonas to be the musical and creative director on her 'Neon Lights' tour - which is being supported by British girl group Little Mix - and even had him join her on stage with his guitar to perform a number of duets.

Suki Waterhouse insists Bradley Cooper is a "ridiculously good dancer".
The 22-year-old model hit it off with the 39-year-old actor after they met at the ELLE Style Awards last February and after the bash they danced the night away at a London nightclub, something she will never forget.
She explained to Rollacoaster magazine: "I met him at the Elle Style awards in London last year. We were introduced and hit it off almost immediately.
"We were dancing at the after-party, and he asked me if I fancied going to a club. We went to Cirque le Soir in London - and he's a ridiculously good dancer, yes. But I'm a serious dancer too, so I don't know if I was fully concentrating on that. We make a pretty good duo, though."
Suki doesn't often speak about her relationship with Bradley publicly, but she says the reason is because she never gets asked about it.
She added: "I never get asked about it [her relationship], because they all think I'm not going to answer them. I blame the guy that coughed in my face, frankly."

"Let's be honest, all of us who give birth are superwomen, we are straight up strong ass bosses and no one can f**k with us."

A likeness of Oscar winner Sandra is already on display at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas.

Madame Tussauds Hollywood is planning to launch 12 new figures in as many months during 2014, the first time it has done this.
Meanwhile, Madame Tussauds New York recently had to remove the waxwork of teen pop star Justin Bieber after the model began to wear away from so many fans touching it over the years.
Madame Tussauds general manager, Bret Pidgeon, said previously: "This is disappointing, but hopefully we can welcome a new grown-up Justin back to the attraction in the near future."
