Kim Kardashian Vogue cover set to break sales record

Kim Kardashian's Vogue cover is set to be the highest-selling issue of the magazine.
It has been reported the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star is on track to sell a record number of copies justifying Anna Wintour's decision to feature the reality star and her fiancé Kanye West in the April issue of the fashion bible.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "The projections are that Kim and Kanye will likely sell almost 500,000 copies."
The figures are yet to be confirmed, but it's thought Kim's cover could outsell previous issues featuring Beyoncé and America's First Lady Michelle Obama which sold 355,39 and 293,798 copies respectively.
Kim's highly coveted cover didn't come without controversy with many people boycotting the issue, including actress Sarah Michelle Gellar who took to Twitter to say she would be cancelling her subscription following the decision to put Kim - who shot to fame following the leak of her sex tape in 2007 - on the front of the publication.
Wintour was ultimately forced to defend her decision to feature the couple, following rumours Kanye had begged her for months to feature his fiancée on the cover.
The editor said: "As for the cover, my opinion is that it is both charming and touching, and it was, I should add, entirely our idea to do it; you may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancée on Vogue's cover. He did nothing of the sort. The gossip might make better reading, but the simple fact of the matter is that it isn't true."

Tom Hardy wears Elton’s clothes

Tom Hardy wears Sir Elton John's old clothes.
The 36-year-old actor portrays the 'Candle in the Wind' singer in forthcoming biopic 'Rocketman' and has borrowed a number of "bits" from the star in order to better get into character.
He said: "When I play a real person, I like to have bits of them. Since I can't take physical body parts and sever those, I try and grab as much 'kit' off them as possible."
And he joked he will then make a profit from the garments.
He added: "Then you can sell it on eBay."
Meanwhile, the British star - who has six-year-old son Louis with ex-girlfriend Rachael Speed - also admitted he didn't learn to drive until he was 30 and that was out of necessity.
Speaking at a cinema society screening of his new movie 'Locke', he explained: "I had to take my ex to the hospital to have our son Louis."
Tom finds it easy to make choices on what roles to accept.
He said: "It comes back to a very basic principle of story. Is it interesting? Do I want to be a part of it? Yes. How does it work? That's when you get back to a pragmatic sense of 'What's the practical next step?' I don't get up in the morning and go, 'I have to find a piece where I can look into someone's eyes.' "

Tila Tequila splits from father of baby

Tila Tequila has split from the father of her baby.
The reality TV star made the "surprise" announcement just last week that she was expecting her first child, and it has now emerged she has already gone her separate ways from her Georgia-based partner Thomas Paxton Whitaker.
He told RadarOnline.com: "Even though I had nothing negative to say about Tila in my comment to you, and the two of us are soon to share a child with one another, Tila and I are not together as a couple and we are no longer pursuing a relationship with each other."
Tila's bitter ex regrets singing the bisexual star's praises in a recent interview and is frustrated with her reaction to discovering his bankruptcy, accusing her of "deception and manipulation" of the media.
Thomas, 42 said: "She definitely isn't living with me. I was trying to remain cordial without adding to her already notorious past, and now I am now experiencing the fallout from my generosity.
"Somehow because I went through hard times like a lot of other people when the economy took a decline, and had to file for bankruptcy, I'm somehow unsuitable to be connected to in a relationship.
"If the media could only hear the kinds of comments Miss Nguyen makes about them as individuals behind closed doors. I doubt she would ever get a drop of news coverage again for the rest of her days, but then Hollywood is a lot about deception and manipulation ... isn't it?"
Playboy model Tila, 32, rose to greater fame on MTV show 'A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila' in 2007, which saw a group of men and women vying for her attention.
She initially wrote on Facebook: "Surprise!! I'm 10 weeks pregnant! I just couldn't hold it in any longer as this brings me so much joy and happiness to know that there is a baby Tila on the way!"

Mariah Carey doesn’t celebrate birthdays

Mariah Carey celebrates life anniversaries not birthdays.
The 44-year-old star - who was catapulted to the spotlight after her 1990 single 'Vision of Love' reached the top spot in charts across the world - has revealed she celebrates important moments in her life and not ageing.
Quizzed on whether she worries about the challenge of pop culture's fixation of youth since she's been a star for the past 25 years, she told the Observer Magazine: "First of all don't round up. If you're going to round, round down. I don't count years but I definitely rebuke them - I have anniversaries, not birthdays because I celebrate life, darling."
Before she added: "Please put a LOL next to this, because people are going to be like WTF?"
Mariah - who has two-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, with her husband Nick Cannon who she wed in 2008 - insists she's "eternally 12 years old" and never wants to grow up.
She said: "Darling, I'm eternally 12 years old. I'm going to give her to you."

Chris Jericho: The Ultimate Warrior was a legendary guy

Chris Jericho has described the late Ultimate Warrior as a "legendary guy" who gave him a confidence boost when he was starting his career.
The Fozzy singer - who still competes on a part-time basis for WWE - was as shocked as anyone when the wrestler tragically passed away on April 8, just days after he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Jericho met Warrior at the start of his grappling career when he was competing for now-defunct company WCW (World Championship Wrestling) and he never forgot the words of encouragement he gave him backstage at a TV taping and he says he totally deserved to be honoured for his impact of the wrestling business.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, Jericho said: "I only treat people the way that they treat me and I only met Warrior once and he was really gracious and really cool to me back in 1998 in WCW. He was there to do something with Hulk Hogan and I remember I went up to say hi to him and he went, 'Hey, Chris Jericho, I know you, you're doing a great job you're doing some good work.' I was a nobody at the time and I remember thinking, 'Wow, the Warrior likes me that totally smokes.' It made me feel that I must be doing something right and it gave me a little bit of a boost and I always remembered that ... He's definitely a legendary guy that deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, I'm glad he got to go in when he was still alive."
As a youngster Jericho, 43, was a huge fan of the Warrior - who died from a heart attack - and he never will forget the intensity he had in WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment).
He added: "As a fan in the late 80s when Warrior came out, he had this energy, this intensity and his look; he was like a heavy metal guy - or he came across that way - and so was I, so I liked that.
"I always respected him as a performer, some of his matches were pretty quick I remember he came in the Winnipeg arena once and beat Andre the Giant in 30 seconds, at the time I was like, 'What a rip off! That sucks.' But I remember WrestleMania VI where he had a classic with Hulk Hogan, much like a lot of guys from that time period he had good matches when he had the right opponent."
Jericho is coming to the UK for two Q&A shows at the Leicester Square Theatre in London on June 12 and June 15 (Psievents.eventbrite.co.uk) and will also be playing at Download Festival with his heavy metal band Fozzy and he can't wait to see his British fans again.
He said: "I'm so excited about coming to the UK on a lot of different levels; I've got a couple of spoken word shows and then right in the middle I'm playing the main stage at Download with Fozzy, it's going to be a good week for Chris Jericho for sure."

Chris Martin’s crush on Harry Styles

Chris Martin had a "hot flush" when he met Harry Styles.
The Coldplay frontman - who split from wife Gwyneth Paltrow last month after 10 years of marriage - is a big fan of the 20-year-old singer's group One Direction but can't remember what advice he gave Harry because he was so in awe of his good looks.
He said: "I think One Direction are the biggest band in the world, their songs are great. I'm saying One Direction are brilliant and I'm not kidding.
"You know why? Because their songs are really good and I don't think that any of them are going to go solo. I think they appreciate their chemistry from watching their movie...
"Harry has come to a couple of our shows, I think I probably said the same thing about chemistry. I can't remember - I was too enamoured with his hair cut. I was like this, 'I was pretty sure I was a straight guy before' - I was having a hot flush."
The 'Magic' singer - who has children Apple, nine, and Moses, eight, with Gwyneth - also spoke of his admiration for Kanye West and his belief that the rapper is often "misunderstood".
Speaking to BBC Radio 1 DJ Zayn Lowe in an hour-long interview which will broadcast at 8pm tonight (28.04.14), he said: "That guy [Kanye] is amazing and I think he is misunderstood by people who only look on the surface. I understand what he is talking about and I understand what he means."

Jamie Bell wouldn’t begin career now

Jamie Bell doesn't think he'd be an actor if he was only just beginning his career.
The 28-year-old actor - who was cast in the title role in 'Billy Elliot' when he was just 13 years old - thinks starting out so young has given him a freedom in his career as he never had any preconceptions about fame or Hollywood that "scared him off".
He explained: "To be honest with you, I can't imagine just coming into the business now. I'd be terrified and it would probably scare me off.
"I wonder if coming in so young and not having those preconceived ideas of being an actor or working in Hollywood or being a celebrity -- which obviously are all part of the business, part of the industry -- if not having those things as a child just allows you to pursue things without any ... maybe without any forethought! [Laughs.]
I've always done things without a second thought; like, if it's something that I want to do, I do it. There isn't a feeling of, 'How's this gonna look, what happens if it doesn't work?' "
The 'Turn' star - who has a nine-month-old son with wife Evan Rachel Wood - is astonished his career has continued for so long.
He added to New York magazine: "I thank my lucky stars daily that I'm even still working. Because I didn't see that coming."
If he hadn't become an actor, Jamie thinks he would have been a gardener because of his love of the outdoors.
He said: "I think I probably would be a gardener or something. I'd have to be outside. Couldn't be inside."

Chelsea Handler to sign Netflix deal

Chelsea Handler is close to landing a deal with Netflix.
The 39-year-old presenter - who is to leave E! when her 'Chelsea Lately' contract ends - is in negotiations with the subscription streaming service to front a new programme for them, though it is as yet unclear what the venture would entail.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Handler has a deal with Netflix, but the format is to be decided."
It was recently claimed that Chelsea had met with CBS executives to discuss the possibility of a syndicated daytime talk show, following in the footsteps of the likes of Kris Jenner, Katie Couric and Anderson Cooper.
Chelsea's manager Irving Azoff has insisted his client is inundated with offers of work for when her contract ends in nine months time.
He said: "Chelsea intends to leave when her contract expires. She hired me to figure out her life after E! We have at least seven suitors and many ideas."
Chelsea - who is believed to make around $9 million a year from the show - has previously voiced her concerns about the E! network and described it as "a sad, sad place to live."

Lady Gaga introduces fans to new pet BATPIG

Lady Gaga has introduced her fans to her french bulldog, BATPIG.
The 'G.U.Y' hitmaker posted an image of the new addition to her family on Twitter on Sunday (27.04.14) afternoon which shows the adorable black pooch, who is sitting on her legs, staring into the camera while the pair of them are in a car.
She added the caption: "Me and my BATPIG #partBAT #partPIG (sic)"
Following this she put an Instagram video up where she gave her cute pet a name.
She explained: "Her name is Asia. She is a BATPIG. I love her I'm her mum."
This comes after the 'Alejandro' singer lost her childhood dog, Alice, who was battling cancer, in October last year.
She previously wrote online: "My puppy Alice died. We had to put her down, cancer ate away at a little angel. My daddy is so sad, we all are, lost a member of our family.
"I just pray Alice found her wonderland."
Following the tragic incident Gaga wore all black during her time in London in tribute to the late pooch and explained how difficult she was finding being away from home during the difficult period.
She added: "I love being an entertainer but it is so painful sometimes to be away from home, 17 years she held on, so many memories."
