James Franco has blasted the 'Spring Breakers' sequel.
The 36-year-old actor, who played the character Alien in the first movie alongside Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens, appears in a bizarre video posted on his Instagram account today (10.05.14), in which he insists second film would not be a good idea.
The star, whose Instagram has become the talk of Hollywood after he started posting half naked selfies for fans, is seen eating rice cakes in bed with his eyes closed while being filmed by a mystery woman.
She is heard saying: "This is James feeling a bit sick cos he smoked too much dope in the club. His tummy is a bit sensitive."
He accompanied the video with the caption: "ALIEN IN REHAB! And BTW F*** that SBers 2 BS, they're doing it without HARMONY'S CONSENT. Sounds LAME AS A MUTHA! (sic)"
The star made reference to director Harmony Korine, who worked on the first movie, after reports the second film will be written by 'Trainspotting' and 'Filth' author, Irvine Welsh.
Meanwhile, James recently defended his flesh-baring and often strange Instagram photographs and posts during an interview with on the 'Late Show with David Letterman', claiming it's what his fans want.
He said: "There's a lot to get straight here and I don't know if we even have time. To me it's a fun thing, it's the sort of thing I don't put a lot of thought into, but it gets a lot of attention. I have a lot of followers on Instagram."

The band are said to be in talks with Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino to hold shows similar to Britney Spears, Celine Dion and Elton John.

The 'Wrecking Ball' singer, who is the UK as part of her Bangerz World Tour, debuted a silver-sequined bodysuit and was surrounded by twerking dancers on stage, along with an blow-up naked male doll.
According to the Daily Mirror, she told the audience: "You know, everyone's a little bit gay. Some of us are just a little bit more than others. You know, it's the truth. All it takes is one cocktail."
She joked: "And if that doesn't work, sprinkle something in their drink. That's what I always do."
The 21-year-old pop star, who had partied with the likes of supermodel Kate Moss at London's Madame JoJo's in Soho the previous night, went on to play with a giant inflatable penis and kiss a female dwarf.
