Gemma Arterton: I’m not very famous

Gemma Arterton doesn't think she's very famous.
The actress will star in a new musical remake of hit film 'Made in Dagenham' in London's West End later this year, but she admits she fears no one will want to buy tickets as they won't know who she is.
She said: "I'm doing a new musical at the end of the year at the Adelphi [theatre], 'Made in Dagenham', and we've got to sell it out. I'm like, 'How are we gonna sell out, with all these musicals that are closing, when the tickets are so expensive, and the theatres are so big?'
"I'm not that famous! It's not like they've got Keira Knightley or Natalie Portman. I'm sure people will see my name on the poster and they'll say, 'Who's that?' "
The 28-year-old beauty also lamented on her continuous connection to James Bond film 'Quantum of Solace', despite branching out into the respected world of theatre.
She told Radio Times magazine: "Even when the reviews came out for 'The Duchess of Malfi', it was always, 'Bond girl tries to do theatre.' I didn't even have a big part in Bond! I'm proud of it, but it is a bit weird that it's always brought up."
Gemma admits she is worried about singing in her new musical role.
She explained: "I can sing, but I'm not like Mariah Carey. And I can sing and act at the same time. I remember when I saw 'Les Miserables', I thought, 'Oh God!' That's 'X Factor'-type musical theatre. I love the proper, Sondheim-y kind of stuff."

Joan Collins’ age concerns

Joan Collins is worried about "creaky joints".
The 80-year-old actress takes Vitamin C tablets and other supplements regularly to make sure she avoids hip and knee problems that are associated with old age.
She explained: "I swear by Redoxon, a fizzy vitamin C tablet, which I have every day. I have friends who have suffered badly with their hips and their knees - Liza Minnelli, for instance, whom I have known for years and years - so I take liquid MSM [natural sulphur supplement] and, touch wood, I don't have creaky joints."
Joan is also keen to maintain her figure but doesn't like working out and has had less time to spare for fitness.
She added: "I am lucky that I am very fit. I try to excercise three times a week, although lately I have been far too busy. And I don't enjoy it at all. I hate it, in fact."
The 'Dynasty' actress intends to live life to the fullest and after reaching the milestone of 50, began thinking about how much time she had left.
She told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "You have to eat life or life will eat you. I think you only realise how short life is when you get past 50. Then you think, 'How much time do I have left?' I'm going to take advantage of life and do everything I want to do."

Nicole Kidman’s romantic husband

Nicole Kidman's husband leaves her secret love letters.
The 'Grace of Monaco' actress finds the attention she receives from Keith Urban "amazing" and says he is very romantic.
Asked if Keith is romantic, she told French newspaper Le Matin: "Totally! He leaves me a love letter every time we're apart. It's amazing to get that kind of attention from a man who loves you."
The 46-year-old star, who has daughters Sunday, five, and Faith, three, with the singer, along with children Connor, 19, and Isabella, 21, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, left Los Angeles for Nashville, Tennessee because she's a "country girl at heart."
Asked why she refuses to talk about Tom but is open about life with her new husband, she said: "Everything is different, simpler. I'm more confident within myself and calmer.
"It's no doubt due to the extra years that have made me more mature and surer of my beliefs and my choices."
Meanwhile, the star filmed 'Grace of Monaco' in the South of France and Keith and the girls were there as often as possible.
She added: "We try and combine work and pleasure. While I'm filming, my husband takes the children on a tour of the region. They go to the beach, the pool or visit tourist attractions."

Patrick Swayze’s widow remarries

Patrick Swayze's widow got remarried today (05.25.14).
Lisa Niemi, who was married to the 'Dirty Dancing' actor for 34 years before his death from pancreatic cancer in September 2009, tied the knot with jeweler Albert DePrisco in Palm Beach, Florida.
The couple - who started dating two years ago and got engaged on Christmas Eve last December (12.24.13) - exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony at The Mar-a-Lago Club in front of more than 50 guests.
The 'Beat Angel' actress, 57, told PEOPLE.com on Friday (05.23.14): "What I most look forward to on my wedding day is walking up, standing at our altar, and looking into his most incredible, twinkling eyes. I cannot think of a bigger treat than that."
The bride wore a wedding gown designed by Oscar de la Renta and admitted she was looking forward to celebrating with her guests at their reception.
She said: "I have some hilarious friends. I'm sure there will be some fun toasts! Later on we'll dance to everything from Michael Bublé and Steve Tyrell, to 70's classics, to current hits, with a big dash of romance thrown in."
Lisa previously admitted that she would like to find love again shortly after the first anniversary of 'Ghost' star Patrick's death.
She said: "I would love companionship love. Absolutely. I hope I'm not one of these women who never want to have another relationship. But who knows, that's another bridge I'll cross when I come to it. I may get there and go, I don't know. But I like to think that I can."

Emily Blunt reveals ‘push present’

John Krasinski gave Emily Blunt a diamond necklace for giving birth to their daughter.
The 'Edge of Tomorrow' actress, who welcomed their first child Hazel into the world in February, was thrilled when her husband gave her a delicate chain with a tiny letter 'H' encrusted with precious stones as a "push present."
Asked about the piece of jewellery, the 31-year-old star told The Sunday Telegraph's Stella magazine: "It was a gift [from Krasinski] for my little girl."
Emily is besotted with her daughter, whom she is raising in Ojai, California.
She said: "She is heaven; my heart sort of explodes. I'm wondering what we were doing without her, actually. I can't really remember. John and I spend a lot of time going, 'Isn't she cute? Oh my God, look at her, she's so cute... She just stares into your soul... Her eyes are denim blue. She looks like a combination of my mother and John's mother."
Although Emily, who recently started following a gluten-free diet, misses the pubs and "irreverence of the British," she has no plans to move back to her native country.
She said: "Our lives are here, all our friends are here."
But the brunette beauty, who got married at George Clooney's villa in Lake Como, Italy and recently holidayed in Mexico with Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, claims she has a normal life.
She said: "I don't feel I lead a glamorous life. Most of the people we're friends with are people you can just hang out with."

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West visit Ireland

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly arrived in Ireland for their honeymoon.
The newlyweds, who were married in front of 200 guests in a sunset ceremony at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy on Saturday (24.05.14), are said to have flown into Cork via private jet this afternoon (25.05.14).
A source told the Irish Independent newspaper that the couple, whose 11-month-old daughter North West travelled to Paris with her grandmother, Kris Jenner, today, landed at Cork Airport at 3pm and were met by a "fleet of Mercedes limousines."
The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star and her 36-year-old rapper husband are planning to enjoy five days at a "luxury private estate" in the country.
The brunette beauty enjoyed a low-key visit to Dublin in June 2012 to help Kanye celebrate his birthday while he was there on tour, and afterwards she wrote on her blog: "I've really enjoyed my time in Ireland."
Her family also previously discussed visiting the country on their reality TV show.
The couple were expected to be fly to Prague and attend another friend's nuptials before going on honeymoon.

A source told E! News that the celebrity jeweller also created a simple gold ring for him.
Kim walked down the aisle in a full-length white Givenchy gown with lace sleeves, but changed into a short beaded dress by Balmain during their reception.

Ashton Kutcher rescues stranded fans

Ashton Kutcher repaired a fan's car on Saturday night (05.24.14).
The 'Two and a Half Men' star, whose fiancée Mila Kunis is pregnant with their first child, came to the aid of a group of hikers after their car broke down in the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles.
The driver told gossip website TMZ.com that his battery died while they were hiking, so they pushed it to a nearby street and began flagging down other cars in a bid to get someone to help them jump-start their vehicle.
The group were stunned when the 36-year-old actor spotted them and pulled over, offering to help.
Ashton told them that he had to drop his passenger, believed to have been 'Black Swan' star Mila, at home first, but quickly returned to the scene to assist them.
The source said that the heartthrob initially struggled to find his own battery, because it was located in the back of his Lexus, but eventually helped them get back on the road.
A member of the group captured a video of the road-side rescue, during which Ashton can be heard laughing and says: "I've never f****ing not been able to find a battery in a car."

Justin Bieber donates $545,000 to charity

Justin Bieber donated $545,000 to AIDS/HIV research this week.
The 20-year-old singer, who is "trying to be a better person" after several brushes with the law in recent months, reportedly shocked his fellow VIP guests, including Leonardo DiCaprio, when he made the generous pledge at the amfAR's 21st Cinema Against AIDS Gala in Antibes, France, on Thursday night (22.05.14).
A source told gossip website TMZ.com that the 'Heartbreaker' hitmaker "stunned" the star-studded crowd, which also included Heidi Klum, John Travolta and Sharon Stone, when he quietly agreed to match another wealthy guest's pledge of more than half a million dollars.
Organisers asked the Canadian star if he was serious about donating such a large amount of money and he quietly said yes, explaining that he felt very inspired to do something good.
'The Wolf of Wall Street' star Leonardo, 39, also raised $1 million at the event by auctioning off a trip to space with him in 2015.
A source previously said that Justin, who was arrested and charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI), resisting arrest and possessing an invalid driver's licence earlier this year in Miami, is determined to get his life back on track.
The insider said: "He's making more of an effort to hang out with people who are positive influences in his life."

Emma Thompson gushes about Greg Wise

Emma Thompson feels very lucky to have a rock solid relationship with Greg Wise.
The 'Saving Mr. Banks' actress, who has daughter Gaia, 14, and adopted son Tindyebwa Agaba, 26, with her husband of nine years, says he is "a great aesthetic pleasure" and admits she can't imagine her life without the actor, whom she met on the set of 'Sense and Sensibility' in 1995.
She said: "He is the only luxury I can't imagine ever being able to give up. Because he can cook, wash up, clean, entertain children, understand maths homework, put up shelves, take them down and put them up elsewhere and repair the little holes left behind, garden with a purpose, drive sensibly but very fast on motorways and lets me get on with my life."
The 55-year-old star recently put her career on hold to spend more time with her family.
She told the MailOnline: "I wanted to spend more time with my family. A year off was my birthday present to myself. I didn't actually act or write. I was just a mum. I taught drama at my daughter's school, cooked meals and had fun."
She added: "I highly recommend others to do the same if they can afford it."
Emma no longer believes that it's possible to always juggle a career and parenthood.
She said: "Sometimes in life you'll have some things, at other times you will have other things. You don't need it all at once, it's not good for you. Motherhood is a full-time job.
"The only way I could have continued working would have been by delegating the running of the home to other people. I never wanted to do this as I find motherhood profoundly enjoyable."
