Pete Doherty: Kate Moss burned childhood teddy bear

Pete Doherty lost his childhood teddy bear after Kate Moss set fire to him.
The Libertines rocker and the supermodel broke up in 2007 after two years together, and he was devastated when she "burned" him to cause him "emotional damage" following their split.
He told the Mail on Sunday newspaper's Event magazine: "It's a big, genuine and totally heartfelt regret that I didn't keep my eye on Pandy, who was my first-ever teddy bear.
"My sister gave him to me as a huge gesture of love and kinship. I held onto Pandy all my life but he ended up getting burned by Kate, along with a lot of other stuff, when we split up.
"There was no need for that unless she simply wanted to cause me as much emotional damage as possible."
Pete also revealed how an emotional letter from three former prisoners of war "hit" him hard after they blasted him for his behaviour.
He admitted: "I once received a letter signed by three soldiers who had been prisoners of war in Japan.
"They said it made them sick that they suffered so much so that this country could be free and then people like me behaved like I do. It said I've let them down and that hit me hard."

SIr Paul McCartney resumes tour

Sir Paul McCartney has resumed his 'Out There' tour after his recent illness.
The 72-year-old rocker, who was forced to cancel his Japanese concerts and a gig in South Korea in May after he was hospitalised in Tokyo for six nights due to a viral infection, took to the stage for the first time in more than two months in Albany, New York on Saturday night (05.07.14).
The 'Save Us' hitmaker told the crowd: "It's great to be back."
The British star appeared to be in good spirits, performing 38 songs in just under three hours, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The former Beatles star's bandmate Ringo Starr recently said Paul was determined to get back on stage as soon as possible by "getting fit" while he recuperated with his wife Nancy Shevell, 53, in Ibiza.
He said: "I spoke to him while he was in hospital. He said he was doing OK. Now he is getting fit and getting ready to rock."
A source close to Paul previously admitted he was "very sad" about cancelling his Asian shows.
The insider said: "Paul has really been through the mill. He was desperately sad he had to cancel those shows but he was really poorly. But he is on the mend which is great news."

Robert Pattinson flirts with multiple girls

Robert Pattinson reportedly flirted with "multiple girls" at a Fourth of July party.
The 'The Rover' star, who split from Kristen Stewart last summer and is rumoured to be dating British model Imogen Kerr, was among the star-studded crowd at 1OAK's pop-up nightclub at Nobu in Malibu, California on Friday night (04.07.14), where he attempted to keep a low profile as he chatted up a number of girls.
A source told E! News: "He was wearing a hat and trying to stay undercover. He hung out at a corner table and was flirtatious with multiple girls all night. He stayed through the performances and was really enjoying himself."
The 28-year-old actor attended the Independence Day bash with 'The Lying Game' star Ryan Rottman, 30, and watched a number of artists, including Chris Brown and Jamie Foxx perform.
Despite being British, Robert recently admitted he considers Los Angeles his home now.
He said: "I spent two months in England last year which is the longest I've spent there in six years, which was nice, but I always go back to England at Christmas time and get so depressed that I'm glad to get back to Los Angeles. I've really grown to like L.A and I guess it's my home at the moment."

Jessica Simpson was a ‘beautiful golden’ bride

Jessica Simpson was a "beautiful golden girl" on her wedding day.
The 33-year-old star married former NFL star Eric Johnson in front of 250 guests, including her sister, Ashlee Simpson, actress Jessica Alba and former 'That 70s Show' star Topher Grace, at the San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California yesterday (05.07.14), after teaming up with Carolina Herrera to create her dream dress.
Speaking about the "sumptuous champagne and gold strapless multi-layer tulle gown," the fashion designer told PEOPLE.com: "The whole dress is embroidered in gold and feels very regal."
She added it was her goal to transform the blonde beauty, who also wore a cathedral length veil, Brian Atwood shoes and Neil Lane jewellery for her special day, into a "beautiful golden girl."
The duo met at Vanity Fair's Oscars afterparty in Los Angeles in 2010, and Carolina stitched a blue ribbon on the inside of the gown for Jessica's something blue.
She said: "I always do that because I think it brings good luck."
The 'With You' hitmaker, who has daughter Maxwell, two, and son Ace, 12 months, with Eric and was previously married to Nick Lachey until 2006, was expected to wear a non-traditional dress for her second stint down the aisle.
A source close to the Weight Watchers spokesperson recently told OK! magazine: "One of her biggest weight-loss motivators has been looking great in her wedding dress. She's actually helped design it, and one thing is for sure: It will not be traditional! Though Ashlee tends to be the edgy one and Jessica usually hews more to her Southern roots, she wants to surprise everyone with something entirely different this time around.
"It's not going to be white, for starters. It's going to be elegant and sophisticated but very fitted to show of Jessica's brilliant body!"

Lena Dunham’s boyfriend isn’t protective

Lena Dunham's boyfriend doesn't feel the need to shield her from criticism.
Jack Antonoff, who has been dating the 'Girls' creator and star since 2012 after they were set up on a blind date by his sister and comedian Mike Birbiglia, says he isn't overprotective of her because they have no problem switching off and being a "normal" couple at home.
Asked about protecting the 28-year-old actress, who is regularly criticised for her figure, outspoken personality and for baring her naked body on the HBO series, the fun. star exclusively told BANG Showbiz at the Wireless Festival in London today (06.07.14): "That's not something I really think about. We're just home being normal people, eating, sleeping and relaxing, so all the noises of the world are easy to turn off."
The 30-year-old rocker, who was performing at the event with his new band Bleachers, also insists he and Lena always make time for each other, no matter how busy they are.
He said: "We're like any other people, lots of people manage that - if one's a teacher and one's a cop; they have crazy scheduling issues too. Time is hard. But you figure it out."
The 'Some Nights' hitmaker revealed that Lena has inspired several of his new band's songs.
He said: "Yes, of course Lena's inspired some songs. You'll know right off the bat when you hear it which ones are about her."

Taylor Swift hosts star-studded party

Taylor Swift hosted a star-studded party on Friday (04.07.14).
The 'Red' hitmaker was joined by a number of her celebrity friends, including Emma Stone and Lena Dunham, to celebrate America's Independence Day at her $17.75 million waterfront mansion in Rhode Island.
'Hart of Dixie' star Jaime King, former 'Gossip Girl' star Jessica Szohr, 29, and indie-pop singer Ingrid Michaelson, 34, were also in attendance.
The group shared a number of photographs from their fun-filled weekend on Twitter and Instagram, showing them swimming, baking desserts and playing with festive sparklers.
Jaime, 35, posted a video of herself and Taylor jumping into a swimming pool, filled with inflatable toys, on Thursday (03.07.14), with the caption: "There is only ONE ninja turtle in town and that is @taylorswift!"
Taylor, 24, also shared a number of snapshots, including an image of a patriotic-themed cake and apple pie, while 'Girls' star Lena, 28, tweeted on Friday: "4th of July is my Coachella. Be free, ya noodles (sic)!"
Taylor refused to let the rainy weather put a dampener on the occasion, writing: "When the 4th of July gives you nonstop rain, make a giant slip n slide (sic)."
The group later posed together for a "family portrait."
'The Amazing Spider-Man' star Emma, 25, previously praised Taylor for being a "pretty normal girl" and explained she loves hanging out with the singer because she "has such a sick sense of humour."

Ashton Kutcher performs dance at wedding

Ashton Kutcher performed a Bollywood-style dance at a friend's wedding on Saturday (05.07.14).
The 'Two and a Half Men' star, who jetted from Los Angeles to Italy with his pregnant fiancée, Mila Kunis, to attend the nuptials, took to the dance floor with a female friend to entertain guests at the reception.
The 36-year-old star donned traditional Indian attire, including a red turban, white trousers and turquoise salwar kameez top, for the performance, during which he twirled his companion around and even lifted her off the floor with a huge smile on his face, according to the MailOnline.
'Black Swan' star Mila, 30, was also spotted wearing an embellished white dress, as she posed with friends at the event.
The couple are clearly eager to make the most of their last few months before becoming parents, as the trip is just the latest in a string of vacations that actress, who is reportedly set to give birth to a baby girl in October, has taken with her former 'That 70s Show' co-star recently.
The couple - who recently purchased a new $10 million home in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles - also spent a week soaking up the sun at the exclusive La Taha'a Island Resort & Spa on the island of Tahaa, near Bora Bora, in French Polynesia at the end of May.
A source previously revealed the duo's baby would be the guest of honour at their own wedding, as they have decided to wait until after the tot is born to get married.
The insider said: "They have a lot going on right now. They've been focused on prepping for the baby and the new house.
"But they are really happy and in love. They can't wait for their baby to arrive."

Dolly Parton to adopt Glastonbury dog

Dolly Parton is planning to adopt a rescue dog found at Glastonbury.
The '9 to 5' hitmaker, who performed in front of 150,000 people at the music festival last weekend, wants to take the white lurcher back to the US with her if the original owner doesn't come forward soon.
The pooch, who has been named Dolly in honour of the singer, was found on Tuesday (01.07.14) by workers cleaning up the site after the five-day event at Worthy Farm, Somerset, England, and is currently in a nearby animal shelter.
But the 68-year-old star said: "I had my manager Danny Nozell call the Happy Landings Animal Shelter to make sure the dog is being treated and cared for properly.
"At this time, nobody has claimed the dog and the dog is in great hands at the shelter. I will take the dog home to America if nobody claims her within a reasonable amount of time."
The 'Blue Smoke' singer also said: "I was sad that someone left the little dog behind. How could that be? In them meantime everybody is on top of it and have promised they'll take care of that little dog. I feel honoured and flattered that they have called her Dolly."
