Elton John says Kate Bush saved his life

Sir Elton John says Kate Bush helped "save" his life.
The 'Rocket Man' legend has credited 'Don't Give Up' - the singer's 1986 duet with Peter Gabriel - with being what he needed to "get sober", although he has never told the star about the impact she has had.
Speaking in 'The Kate Bush Story: Running Up That Hill' - an upcoming new BBC documentary - he said: "This was one record that saved my life.
"That record helped me get sober ... So she played a big part in my rebirth. That record helped me so much. I never told her that but it did."
Elton was inspired by Kate's lines in the track, in which she sings "don't give up".
Her lines in the chorus include: "Rest your head. You worry too much. It's going to be all right.
"When times get rough you can fall back on us. Don't give up."
Meanwhile, Elton's own struggles with addiction will be the subject of a new biopic following his decision to reveal the secrets of the diaries he wrote while in rehab, with 'Billy Elliot' writer Lee Hall penning the script.
He previously said: "One day he took me to his house and opened a safe and he had all his private diaries that nobody had seen from when he was in rehab and left me there to read all his stuff.
"But he's never commented once on the script, he hasn't interfered at all."

Kim Kardashian: Kanye West ‘likes the blonde’

Kim Kardashian says Kanye West prefers her hair blonde.
The dark-haired beauty has admitted while she has shunned a lighter shade, her husband actually prefers her bright locks - but she won't be making a permanent change back any time soon.
She told PEOPLE.com: "Kanye likes the blonde. But I think I'm going to stay dark. At least for now.
"I was talking about this yesterday actually with Kanye. He asked if I would ever go back to blonde.
"I was like, 'Not right after a baby, because my face was so swollen and it looked like my lips were huge. My face was just off.'"
However, Kim teased she could still be spotted out and about with blonde hair - but she'd look into more temporary ways of making it happen.
She added: "After I saw [me blonde] it was definitely fun, but then I thought that I can just wear a wig if I really have the urge. It was so easy."
Meanwhile, Kim recently revealed her 13-month-old daughter North West "is fascinated" by her beauty regime and loves to watch her mother getting ready.
She said: "North actually will totally sit on my lap and is fascinated when I'm getting my hair blown out.
"And when I'm getting my makeup done [too] I'll give her a little makeup brush, and she'll be entertained."

Dwayne Johnson praises Paul Walker

Dwayne Johnson has praised Paul Walker's passion and commitment for "marine conservation".
The 'Hercules' star - also known by his wrestling name 'The Rock' - has paid tribute to his late friend, describing him as a "dear friend" and recongising his work for marine life.
In a video posted on his Instagram account, Dwayne said: "Paul Walker was not only an incredible actor, dear friend, loving and devoted father ... but he was also a champion for shark and marine conversation, whose efforts inspired so many."
The clip was filmed for 'Shark Week' on the Discovery Channel, and will serve as an introduction to one of Paul's "final missions".
Writing alongside the clip, the late actor's 'Fast & Furious 7' co-star said: "[I] Was moved to shoot this very special intro to one of Paul Walker's final missions for shark and marine conservation.
"#DiscoveryChannel #SharkWeek #ProtectingThatWhichILove #MissYouBrotherPaul."
Dwayne has previously opened up about his friend - who died in a car crash in November 2013 - and revealed they bonded over talking about their children.
He has said: "It was always the number one topic we would talk about.
"We would talk about silly guy things, his fast cars and my pickup trucks, or we would talk about the beautiful energy of Hawaii -- but it always ultimately came back to family.
"And very specifically the beautiful and important bond between a father and his daughter, and how we both realised that over the years."

Eva Marie’s hair gives confidence

Eva Marie's flame-haired look has boosted her self-confidence.
The 29-year-old WWE star is a striking on-screen presence, due to her dyed locks, and says that she's felt the benefits of changing her hair colour.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, she explained: "Originally I was supposed to go blonde but it's all about feeling confident and empowered, so, for me, my confidence would not have been the same if I'd have gone blonde.
"So I decided to go red and make that statement and feel comfortable in my own skin. I decided to go against the grain and that's definitely what I did and the girls are definitely shocked.
"I think it definitely made a statement."
Eva - who joined the WWE in 2013 - is currently starring in new reality TV show 'Total Divas', follows the lives of the WWE girls outside the ring.
The show underlines her feisty personality and Eva had no qualms in ruffling the feathers of her WWE co-stars.
She said: "It's all in good fun but, you know, we are girls at the end of the day, and all of us are competing on WWE."
And the former model thought joining the WWE was "perfect" for her because she had been such a tomboy.
She said: "I did every single sport, but soccer was my major sport and I played that through college and then after I got my degree in southern California, I went to LA and kind of just started dabbling in modelling and acting and I was doing that for a little bit.
"And then, the WWE had a diva search, so I was like, 'Oh my goodness, this is perfect for me'."

Russell Brand is making a rap album

Russell Brand is making a rap album.
The 39-year-old comedian and actor - who famously dated Katy Perry - has asked to work with 'La La La' hitmaker, Naughty Boy.
A source told 'The Sun on Sunday': "Russell thinks it would be really fun to put some of the poems to music and asked Naughty Boy if he would get involved after getting to know him through his girlfriend Jemima [Khan].
"He will pick out some of his favourite quotes and go into a studio to record them.
"Naughty Boy is then planning to transform them into a spoken-word rap. It's all a bit of fun and there are no plans to release it as an official chart single as yet.
"But who knows what this project could actually turn into."
The poems - which will be taken from Russell's new book, 'rEVOLution', due out in October - are said to heavily feature love and what he has learned from his past romances.
A source said: "No one knows what Russell is going to be like rapping - if he's as good as Eminem then it may well become a huge single."

Fifi Geldof bans younger sisters from being bridesmaids

Fifi Geldof has banned her younger sisters from being bridesmaids at her wedding.
The 31-year-old has made the decision out of respect for her sister, Peaches Geldof, who died of a drug overdose in April this year aged just 25.
A close friend told 'The Sun on Sunday': "She thinks it would seem very odd to have the two other girls without Peaches by her side too."
Fifi - who is due to marry 33-year-old Andrew Robertson next year - will instead have six of her friends as bridesmaids rather than Pixie and Tiger Lily.
Meanwhile, Fifi has revealed that she is to walk down the aisle in a wedding dress made by the same designer as her late mother, Paula Yates.
Her godfather, Jasper Conran, will make the bride's gown.
The announcement of the couple's engagement in May this year came less than a week after Bob Geldof announced his plan to marry long-time girlfriend, Jeanne Marine.
Defending his decision to announce the wedding soon after Peaches' death, Bob said: "And then Peaches died and things were very bleak and there was... I thought how do we move forward?
"I don't mean move on, as I say, time doesn't heal, it accommodates, it finds an available space in your brain and you can stick that part in there and it allows you to see things in context.
"And I didn't want to rush it or anything and I was going to do it anyway and I thought no, we need to let some air into the room, we need to let some light into that air."

Cara Delevingne eyes up Bond role

Cara Delevingne wants to star in the next 'Bond' film.
The 21-year-old supermodel - who is currently filming a Peter Pan movie with Hugh Jackman - is keen to follow her dream of being a 'Bond' girl.
A source told 'The Sunday Mirror': "Cara hinted she would love to be involved, but the makers of Bond had already started considering her as somebody they would be interested in."
Cara has previously starred alongside Keira Knightley and Jude Law in 'Anna Karenina' and has reportedly been approached by 'Bond' bosses after she admitted she'd love to star opposite Daniel Craig.
The source continued: "Obviously she's striking, she's well known and she's establishing herself as a talented actress.
"There would be a real buzz about getting her involved and the signs are all good. Everybody is excited."
The forthcoming 'Bond' movie - which has the working title 'Bond 24' - is expected to see Daniel Craig and Ben Whishaw reprise their roles as Bond and Q respectively. 'Skyfall' director Sam Mendes will also return to his post and the movie is expected to include other big names like Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes and Rory Kinnear.
Filming will start towards the end of this year with the film being released in November 2015.

Aaron Paul ‘weaning himself’ away from curse

Aaron Paul is trying to "wean" himself off using the word "b***h".
The 34-year-old actor's best-known character, 'Breaking Bad's Jesse Pinkman was renowned for using the word in much of his dialogue and while Aaron is currently happy to use the curse to address fans when they ask him to, he thinks he'll get tired of it eventually.
He said: [People say 'b***h' to me] every day. When I was walking in Hyde Park in London yesterday to get a beer by the water, these two guys rode their bikes past me and I heard them say, 'Yeah b***h.'
"People also ask me if I will call them a b***h. I'll do it for a little longer, but I'm trying to wean myself off it."
With 'Breaking Bad' regarded as one of the best TV shows of all time, Aaron
- whose next project is voicing a character in animated comedy 'BoJack', which is about a talking horse who is an alcoholic washed-up sitcom star - insists he won't be upset if none of his subsequent roles match the success of his breakout.
He told Britain's GQ magazine: "I always joke that, since I did 'Breaking Bad', it's all downhill from there.
"'BoJack' I think is absolutely brilliant. Is it 'Breaking Bad'? No, it's just different. But a lot of people don't come close to that opportunity.
"It's like the 'Doctor Seuss' quote our director of photography wrote out for us all as a wrap gift; 'Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.'
"If it keeps going down, down, down, then so be it. I'll always have that."

Emily Berrington was bullied

Emily Berrington was bullied at school.
The 'Inbetweeners 2' actress thinks teenagers can be "evil geniuses" and says she was singled out for being quiet and awkward when she was younger.
She told BANG Showbiz: "I was really shy at school. I was like an 'Inbetweener' but a female one.
"Teenage girls are just the most evil geniuses. If a teenage girl sets against you, your life is over. And that happened to me a lot."
However, as time has passed, Emily, 27, has learned to appreciate that what happened at school becomes insignificant in life.
She added: "So, I kind of just learned gradually that although it seems massively important at the time, as time goes on you're like, 'Whatever happened to so and so?' "
The '24: Live Another Day' star recently admitted she is embarrassed about her parents seeing 'The Inbetweeners 2'.
She said: "I don't want to give away any good gags but there's a scene with some drunk snogging that I remember thinking as we filmed it, 'I look forward to Mum and Dad having to watch this.'
"I'm sure I'll be embarrassed for some of it, but my family are so excited about seeing the film, I couldn't possibly deny them that chance. I think they'll be cool about it, but maybe I should warn them about a few things first."
