Selena Gomez gets tearful at Teen Choice Awards

Selena Gomez struggled to hold back tears as she picked up the Ultimate Choice Award at last night's (10.08.14) Teen Choice Awards.
The 22-year-old singer-and-actress became the youngest person to ever take home the coveted prize and thanked fans for making her a "better" person.
She said: "Thank you so much! I have to be honest--especially this month--I cannot thank you guys enough. You remind me, amidst all the stuff that we deal with personally, what's important, and that's giving and loving and caring about each other.
"I'm not trying to preach or any of that. It's just that you guys make me better, and I just really appreciate everything that you've done."
In her speech, the 'Spring Breakers' actress went on to pay tribute to her "incredible" mother and former manager Mandy Teefey.
She added: "I want to thank my mom so much because she's the greatest human being in the world, and she's strong and she's given up her life for me. She's so beautiful.

Chloe Grace Moretz comments on Brooklyn Beckham friendship

Chloe Grace Moretz says she and Brooklyn Beckham "just hang out with each other".
The 17-year-old 'Kick Ass' star has been romantically linked to Victoria and David's eldest son, after Chloe was seen skateboarding with Brooklyn earlier this year, but the actress is refusing to put a label on their relationship.
She told The Sunday Times magazine: "I don't even know what dating is at this point. It's all so stupid ... why can't you just hang out with each other.
"Go to dinner if you want to? Why can't you go skateboarding if you want to go skateboarding with a guy?"
Recently, a source has revealed that Brooklyn is "smitten" with the movie star.
The source said: "Brooklyn is very sweet and shy, a really nice boy. Chloe is more sophisticated."
Chloe has also opened up about her friendship with the British star, admitting that when it comes to their hobbies, he's much more likely to take risks.
When asked who was a better skateboarder, she replied: "I don't know. I mean, he has a pretty small skateboard, and I like more of a long board.
"I think he's a risk taker, like a typical guy, weaving in and out of people. I'm a safety boarder - I don't want to break any bones."

Marianne Faithfull: Being Mick Jagger’s girlfriend is a lot of pressure

Marianne Faithfull thinks being Sir Mick Jagger's girlfriend is an "enormous" pressure.
The 67-year-old singer - who dated The Rolling Stones frontman for four years - admits they are lots of unwanted extras that come from being the rocker's girlfriend but "for a lot of people it's worth it".
When asked what the pressures were, she told The Sunday Times magazine: "I really couldn't say. And I wouldn't say. That's nobody's business.
"Anyway, it must be different for everybody. Most of these girls who are with him, since me actually, really like the fame and the money, all that s**t. I never cared."
Meanwhile, Marianne had previously admitted that she rarely spoke to her ex-boyfriend after their split, but he did call the hospital where she was being treated for breast cancer in 2005.
Recalling the chat they had, she said: "This voice came on: 'Hello, Marian, how are you?'
"I'd know that voice anywhere, and he's the only one who ever called me Marian. We had a chat. It was lovely."
Speaking of her time with the star in the late 1960s, she added: "I could've stayed with Mick and he did love me, but I couldn't bear it, that world. I just felt not good enough. Low self-esteem."

Robbie Williams doesn’t use £1.75m home

Robbie Williams reportedly has a £1.75 million home he doesn't use.
The 'Candy' hitmaker bought the west London house - previously owned by late filmmaker Michael Winner - in December 2013, but despite it's huge price tag he has preferred to stay in hotels when he has been performing in the capital city of the UK.
An insider told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "The house has a staff in place ready to welcome anyone who wants to stay there, but Robbie himself has opted for hotels when he's been in London, instead of making the journey out to West London after work commitments in town.
"He bought it for the family and plans to use it one day, but to be in such a big place alone when he's missing them has no appeal.
"He's told all his friends and family they can stay there any time they like, but it's not something he's actually done himself yet. It's just easier to crash in a hotel, not worry about anything and then go on to the next gig or jump on a place to the next country."
Meanwhile, it is said Robbie sees his home as "where his family is", which is currently Los Angeles while his wife Ayda Field is pregnant with their second child.
The source added: "Ayda has her own ideas about what to do with the house and the decor when she arrives back in England for the birth of their second child, so they'll get to it then.
"But without her stamp on it, it doesn't really feel like a home. Home for Robbie is where his family is."

Bobbi Kristina Brown pays tribute to Whitney Houston

Bobbi Kristina Brown has paid tribute to her late mother Whitney Houston on her birthday.
The daughter of the iconic singer - who passed away in February 2012 - took to Twitter as she honoured her mum in a touching tribute on the micro-blogging website to mark the milestone yesterday (09.08.14).
She wrote: "#HappyBirthdaymommy ! #HappyBirthdayWhitney ! #AllAugustAllWhitney #iloveyou ! @nickdgordon @mwhitaker10 #Family."
Meanwhile, Bobbi - whose father is 'My Prerogative' singer Bobby Brown - hinted earlier this year she was planning to follow in her mother's footsteps by launching a music career.
She tweeted: "Think about it.. She had 1babygirl, lungs and a GORGEOUS unforgettable voice .. Who do you think ONLY has HER vocal chords.. ? (sic)"
The young star is also rumoured to be getting help with her career from Mariah Carey and former 'American Idol' judge Randy Jackson.
A source previously said: "Mariah and Randy were close friends of Whitney's and were heartbroken after she died suddenly in 2012. They kept in touch.
"Now Randy has decided he wants to help Bobbi Kristina become a star - and Mariah told him she wanted in, too.
"Mariah would love to step in and provide mentoring to [Bobbi] because she and Randy have been so close ... They have years of music experience between them and will share all their knowledge with Bobbi Kristina."

Daniel Radcliffe: Erin Darke is my ‘best friend’

Daniel Radcliffe says his girlfriend Erin Darke is his "best friend".
The 'Harry Potter' actor has opened up about his relationship with actress - who he met on the set of 'Kill Your Darlings' in 2012 - and he explained their romance is the kind he always "aspires" to have.
He told UsMagazine.com: "I think that's the kind of relationship I always aspire to have with someone I'm in a relationship with.
"You want that person to be your best friend. In the case of Erin, we definitely are."
Meanwhile, Daniel insisted he doesn't ever try to start a relationship in a certain way but being friends and becoming partners is "often a very natural" progression.
He added: "I don't think you can ever control how anything starts.
"It's not like I seek out that way of meeting people or think I have to be their friend first but I think it's often a very natural thing to progress from into a relationship.
"The whole modern idea of 'friend zone' and all that stuff - that's a word I don't like very much."

Dwayne Johnson’s mum and cousin in car crash

Dwayne Johnson's mother and cousin have been in a car crash after being hit by a drunk driver.
The 'Hercules' actor has confirmed his two family members survived the collision and admitted while it is tempting to retaliate with "unrelenting harm", he is looking to move past it.
He wrote on Instagram: "My mom & cousin @linafanene were struck head on by a drunk driver this week - they lived.
"First reaction is to find the person who did this and do unrelenting harm to them.
"But then you realize the most important thing is my family lived thru this and we can hug each other that much tighter these days."
Meanwhile, Dwayne - who is also known by his wrestling name 'The Rock' - has urged his fans to use the accident as a reminder to embrace their "own family tighter" and be thankful for every moment with them.
He continued: "Hug your own family tighter today and be grateful you can tell them you love them.
"#BearHugsAndGratitude #100PercentPreventable #ChoicesMatter"
The star has opened up about his love for mother, and has revealed the moment they were evicted from their home was the inspiration behind him transforming his physique.
He previously said: "We were living in an efficiency that cost $120 a week. We come home, and there's a padlock on the door and an eviction notice. My mom starts bawling. She just started crying and breaking down. 'Where are we going to live? What are we going to do?'
"That was the tipping point. It was about, 'What can I control with these two hands?' The only thing I could do was train and build my body. The successful men I knew were men who built their bodies."

Megan Fox admits cooking isn’t her ‘thing’

Megan Fox says she only cooks for special occasions.
The 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' actress has admitted she isn't known for her day-to-day culinary delights, but insisted she likes to put the effort in "for the holidays".
Asked what the last meal she prepared was, she told PEOPLE.com: "Does scrambled eggs count?
"I really love cooking for the holidays, and I always try and do something challenging. But on a day-to-day basis, it's not my thing."
Similarly, Megan revealed she "never" does any home improvement work, choosing to leave it to her husband Brian Austin Green - who she married in 2010 - although she'd rather they paid someone to do it for them.
Quizzed about her DIY projects, she replied: "That I did personally? Never.
"But if we want to go with my husband, Brian, he just rewired the stereo equipment.
"He would prefer to do it all himself. He tried to paint our house, and I'm like, 'Please, can we just hire someone?' "
The couple have two sons together - 23-month-old Noah and six-month-old Bodhi - and Megan admitted her older child is struggling to completely accept the new arrival.
She recently said: "Half the time he is [excited], he wants to stroke his head and help feed him - then the other half of the time he tries to smother him.
"He's good most of the time, but then every once in a while, when we're not looking and we hear the baby cry, we realise he's thrown a toy at his face."

Justin Bieber leads Kylie Jenner’s birthday wishes

Justin Bieber has wished Kylie Jenner a "happy birthday".
The 'Beauty and a Beat' hitmaker has led the way with tributes to the star earlier today (10.08.14) as she celebrates turning 17, and despite only being three years older he said it has been "dope" seeing her grow up.
He wrote on Instagram: "Happy birthday @kyliejenner 😉 glad I got to spend it with u. So dope watching u grow up (sic)"
Kylie's mother Kris Jenner also wished her daughter well on her special day, praising her for her "amazing energy" and "endless imagination".
She wrote: "Happy Birthday to my precious baby girl @kyliejenner !!!
