Chelsea Handler's staff have been left disappointed to learn they won't all work on her new show.
The 39-year-old presenter initially told employees on 'Chelsea Lately' they would move with her when she begins her new project at Netflix, but with her E! show coming to an end next week and the next venture not beginning until next year, only longtime production staff Tom Brunelle and Brad Wollack have so far been offered jobs.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper's Confidenti@l column: "Obviously there were a lot of people in the office saying 'Oh, s**t' when they heard about the Netflix deal.'
"At first Chelsea was telling people, 'It's fine. You're my staff -- I'm going to take care of you guys.' I don't know what happened in between, but at this point there's no plans for anyone but a couple of guys who have been with her since the beginning to make the transition."
However, while the staff members are disappointed, they are accepting of the situation, though they will miss their kind and supportive boss.
The source added: "It's weird for a lot of those guys (staff members), because Chelsea's a great boss and she's been very supportive and loyal to her staff. So on the one hand people were expecting her to take them to Netflix, so they're disappointed, but on the other hand they're like, 'Well, we'd be nowhere without Chelsea and she can't carry people forever.'
"It's tough as well, because the crew are really close with each other and with Chelsea. They'll go on vacations together.
"Chelsea will put on yoga classes for the staff with (Jennifer Aniston's yogi) Mandy Ingber and things like that."

Katie Price's priority is to be a "supermum, not a superwoman".
The 36-year-old former glamour model welcomed her fifth child, a girl whose name she hasn't yet disclosed, into the world two weeks ago, and rather than worrying about getting back in shape is focussed on caring for the baby, her 12-month-old son Jett - both of whom she has with husband Kieran Hayler, older daughter Princess, seven, and other sons Junior, nine, and Harvey, 12, who are all from previous relationships.
She said: "My body's had to grow two babies in just under a year and, like all my children when newborn, they're my priority, not my body.
"I want to be a supermum, not a superwoman being put under pressure to get into shape in record time to please... well, who? I've got my own post-baby weight-loss goals, as and when I'm ready
"Admittedly, I'm luckier than most, but it doesn't mean I don't have to work at it. I'll eat a balanced diet and when my body allows - and when I'm ready - I'll do some exercise."
Katie - who recently reconciled with her husband after he was found to have cheated on her with two friends - said that trained nutritionist Kieran will help her to get back in shape.
She added in her column for Now magazine: "He'll help me with my healthy eating and make sure I get my proteins, carbs and fats all balanced, along with gentle exercise routines at first. I want to feel good and healthy for myself."

Scott Disick is "feeling good" despite his recent hospitalisation.
The 31-year-old reality star - who was treated for alcohol poisoning in June - is trying to "better" himself and move forward with his life.
He said: "I'm good. I've had ups and downs. Every time you can better yourself it's a good thing, and a positive thing."
Scott - who has children Mason, four, and Penelope, two, with pregnant girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian - was hospitalised soon after both his parents passed away and as well as seeking help to cope with his losses, he is doing his best to "live healthy" and "get by".
Speaking to People magazine, he said: "I'm excited to just be feeling good and living healthy, eating better, exercising more and doing whatever I can to get by."
And pregnant Kourtney - who is due to give birth to the couple's third child in December - is doing well and not letting her condition affect her life.
Scott said: "She's great. She'll [keep running around] until that kid pops out of her."
Scott was joined at the Foxwoods Resort Casino's Liquid Sundays pool party in Connecticut at the weekend by Kourtney's sister Khloe Kardashian, and while she drank pink champagne, he stuck to bottled water.
He quipped: "I'm gonna drink out of the pool."

David Letterman paid a lengthy tribute to Robin Williams on his talk show last night (18.08.14).
The 'Late Show' host - making his first appearance since the actor's suicide last Monday (11.08.14) - showed a collection of moments from the 'Hook' star's "almost 50" appearances on the programme and apologised for the fact he had "no idea" how depressed his friend had been.
He said: "What I will add here is beyond being a very talented man, and a good friend and a gentleman, I'm sorry, like everybody else, I had no idea that the man was in pain, that the man was suffering. But what a guy, Robin Williams."
The 67-year-old presenter recalled how he and Robin had met at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles over 38 years ago and he had been ready to "make fun of the new guy" - but was left fearing for his career as the newcomer was so good.
He said: " "All of a sudden he comes up on the stage and - you know what it is - it's like nothing we had ever seen before, nothing we had ever imagined before.
"And then he finishes and I thought, ''Oh that's it, they're gonna have to put an end to showbusiness because what could happen after this?' Honest to God you thought, 'Holy crap, there goes my chance in showbusiness.' "
David then spoke of how he got his break as his friend invited him
to be a guest on his sitcom 'Mork and Mindy', and went on to recall how he was always "so gracious" as a talk show guest.
He said: "And we would talk about the old times and never did he act like, ''Oh I knew you guys were so scared because I was so good'. It was just a pleasure to know the guy."

Daniel Radcliffe never wants to be "separated" from Harry Potter.
The 25-year-old actor shot to fame aged 11 playing the boy wizard in the hit film series and though he has taken on a number of different roles since, he knows he will always be associated with his breakthrough part.
Speaking at a Q and A for his new film 'What If' at a London Apple Store, he said: "I don't think there's ever going to be one film in people's minds that finally separates me from Harry and I don't think I ever will be separated from Harry and I don't want to be.
"It was an incredibly important part of my life and something I still love and I'm very proud of, but I think this film, like 'Kill Your Darlings' was and like 'The Woman in Black' was, is just another step in showing people that I am interested in doing other things and that I'm just going to be sort of popping up as an actor now, doing jobs away from the world you might have seen me in in the past."
Daniel also admitted he enjoyed working on his new movie because it was so much lighter than his recent material.
He explained: "I'd never done comedy really on screen before, he explained. 'To be able to do a whole film where your job every day was to turn up and make the person in the scene with you laugh rather than to have some sort of emotional breakdown or save a dying child from a train, or whatever it is I've done in other films.
"It was nice to be able to turn up and be myself every day. I mean, it is the most like myself of any character I've ever played I think."
The 'Horns' star naturally gravitiates towards "very dark" material.
He added: "I've made a lot of very dark films since Potter and it's not necessarily that that's a choice it's just that's the kind of stuff I gravitate towards so it was nice to find something that was light and you felt would make people happy."

Iggy Azalea has been blasted for her moody behaviour on the set of her new TV show.
The 'Fancy' hitmaker is the new host of MTV's 'House of Style' and reportedly spent much of filming at the Versace store in Beverly Hills on August 9 with a "complete scowl" on her face.
A source told the Hollywood Reporter: "Iggy walked in with her entourage and wouldn't take her sunglasses off the whole time we were in the store shooting her.
"She had a complete scowl the whole time and never cracked a smile -- unless the cameras were on. And the minute they stopped, it was back to scowling."
According to the source, even when the shoot moved outside the store to where fans had gathered, the 24-year-old rapper still refused to smile.
In contract, Iggy's guest for the episode, 'American Idol' judge Jennifer Lopez, was a delight to work with.
The production crew member revealed: "J.Lo was all smiles, saying hello to everyone on the crew, shaking everyone's hand and doing everything we needed her to do."
A spokesperson for the Australian star hasn't commented on the claims.

Portia de Rossi hired a skywriter to mark her wedding anniversary.
The 'Arrested Development' actress delighted wife Ellen DeGeneres yesterday (18.08.14) when she had a plane write out the word 'six' in the sky to mark the number of years since they got married.
Ellen tweeted a picture of her and Portia beneath the sky, writing: "
"Look what my wife did for our wedding anniversary."
The declaration of love comes amid speculation 41-year-old Portia's marriage to Ellen, 56, is on the rocks following the actress' recent stint in rehab, but sources have insisted the pair have been working things out.
One insider said recently: "They've had their ups and downs. Portia has been very outspoken about previous issues, like her eating disorder, and she's good at seeking help when she needs to. They've worked out difficulties in the past, and no doubt they're trying to work out any problems right now."
And it was also claimed the pair were planning to celebrate their anniversary with a party.
The source said: "They both love to celebrate special occasions and holidays, and their wedding anniversary is no different. They usually celebrate with a big party and invite a lot of friends. They really are a lovely couple. They enjoy being married, and it shows."

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have written their own wedding vows.
The couple - who got engaged in April - are expected to marry at the 'Monuments Men' actor's home in Lake Como, Italy, next month and are planning a "small and intimate" celebration but the guest list is unlikely to include too many Hollywood pals as they don't want to attract attention.
A source said: "This is not going to be a huge Hollywood wedding with Julia Roberts and Sandra Bullock flying in to Italy for a week...
"They want the wedding to be intimate with quiet but happy and fun dinners and lunches after they've said short but meaningful, hand-written vows in front of their loved ones. They want their guests to enjoy it as much as they do and they know that if the guest list reads like the Oscars invite list with lots of big Hollywood names there it will be intimidating for their families. They can do a party for movie industry friends in Los Angeles at a later date."
The 53-year-old actor and the 36-year-old lawyer have chosen to marry at their Italian villa because they adore Lake Como and felt they would have more control over their big day if they stayed somewhere familiar.
A source explained to E! News: "George has always loved Como, he finds it very peaceful and relaxing and now Amal has fallen in love with the area as well.
"They want to start their married life there with the beautiful lake as a backdrop. George's home on the lake is like a very well oiled machine. He has the local mayor fully on his side and the locals too and he can ensure that press and paparazzi are kept away.
"Doing the wedding in another area of Italy would involve too many people that he doesn't know or trust and George wants to make sure that Amal and both their families enjoy the big day.
"They want it to be about them celebrating their love and respect for each other with their loved ones watching. And they can do that in Como while keeping everything fully under their control."
