Kanye West rushed to hospital for MRI scan

Kanye West was reportedly rushed to hospital in Melbourne yesterday (10.09.14).
The 37-year-old rapper was whisked to Epworth Hospital in Richmond, just hours before he was due to play his final gig in the city, for an emergency MRI scan following alleged concerns he had suffered a seizure.
Lorraine Terry, who was at the hospital with her daughter at the time, told Australia's Woman's Day magazine: "My daughter was having an MRI. Shortly after it began, security burst in and cleared the area.
"Everyone was moved out of the waiting and consulting rooms. We were the only ones left apart from doctors and nurses - we couldn't leave as the MRI wasn't finished.
"Next thing we knew, Kanye was stretchered in surrounded by security. He had one side of his face covered with something white."
She added: "Everyone was massively panicked. And they were very nervous about making sure the area was completely clear."
However, despite the alleged health scare, it is believed the 'Bound 2' hitmaker left the hospital around 4:30pm, before heading to the Rod Laver Arena to perform for his fans later that evening.
Meanwhile, Kanye is expected to play in Sydney tomorrow (12.09.14) and Saturday (13.09.14), before finishing up the Australia leg of his 'Yeezus' world tour in Brisbane on Monday (15.09.14).

Niall Horan misses friends in Ireland on tour

Niall Horan misses playing golf with friends from home when he's on tour.
The One Direction hunk is part of a WhatsApp chat group with his pals from Ireland and he admits their conversations constantly remind him of how much he's missing out on when he's globe-trotting with his band.
He's quoted by The Sun newspaper as saying: "I like to stay in touch [with my friends from home] as much as I can. They do my head in! I have all the boys there in a WhatsApp group and the c**p they are talking ...
"... It's horrible when you are looking at it from the other side of the world, even though I am doing something I love and in these cool places.
"But they are just like, 'Text me when it's 6pm and we'll go to my house and we'll order a pizza' or 'Do you wanna play pitch and putt?' or 'Are you boys playing golf today?' Something stupid like that and they're the kind of things that you miss. You look at the phone and you're just like, 'Aw Jesus.' "
The singer, 20, who grew up in Mullingar, credits his parents Bobby and Maura for helping him stay level-headed after he was thrown into the limelight in 2010.
He explained: "I'd say half of it is due to my upbringing.
"That humble side of things, obviously Mullingar comes into play there a lot. Then it depends what kind of person you are - some people do things their own way and some do things the right way. I just do it. I just have a laugh and get on with it."

Mollie King wants big family

The Saturdays singer Mollie King wants to have children.
The 27-year-old star - who is dating American music producer Jordan Omley - admits she is keen to have kids at some stage of her life but not until she is older, unlike her bandmates Rochelle Humes, Frankie Bridge and Una Foden.
She told new! magazine: "I'd love a big family at some point but not for a couple of years."
While fellow The Saturdays singer Vanessa White has also not had kids, 32-year-old Una recently announced she is expecting her second baby with her rugby player husband Ben Foden, which is great news for Mollie, who admits she enjoys being able to return the kids to their mothers afterwards.
She joked: "I'm happy playing the auntie role. I get to hand them back!"
Following the news of Una's status as an expectant mother, Mollie isn't sure who will be the next band member to give birth.
Mollie said: "It's so hard to say [who will have the next Saturdays baby], I just want them all to keep having lots of babies!"

Kelly Brook is eloping to Las Vegas?

Kelly Brook is thinking about eloping to Las Vegas with her fiancé.
The glamorous model, who is engaged to former 'Gladiators' star David McIntosh, admits she changes her wedding plans all the time and sometimes thinks it would be easier to "just run to Vegas and do it."
Asked about their upcoming nuptials, the 34-year-old beauty told Magic FM: "We're going to do it in the UK. I think we're going to do it in my house in Spring next year. But we change our minds all the time. Some days we're like, 'Let's just run to Vegas and do it.' "
The TV presenter, who recently moved to Los Angeles, admits she was forced to leave the UK to search for more opportunities.
The star, who is set to start shooting a new sitcom 'One Big Happy,' which is being produced by Ellen DeGeneres, later this month, said: "The UK is my home. I love it here. I'd love to work on television here, but it's hard to get good work here for me. I have to go to America and pursue work. There's a handful of women on television and so many trying to get the roles when you are in there, it's a bit of a cat fight and you feel like it's not a nice environment. Whereas in America it sees there is a lot more opportunity, I don't get the same vibes from America."
Kelly also hinted the timing of their move couldn't have been better, as she just released her autobiography, 'Kelly Brook - Close Up,' in which she lifted the lid on her failed relationships with Jason Statham, Billy Zane, Danny Cipriani and Thom Evans.
She said: "No it's not like 'Here's my book. Up yours everyone. See you later. I'm off to America.' Although it kind of feels nice to feel like it's a bit...The timing of it is kind of interesting."

Joan Rivers’ funeral was ‘what she would have wanted’

Giuliana Rancic says Joan Rivers' funeral was "exactly what she would have wanted."
The 40-year-old star, who was "devastated" when the 81-year-old comedienne died last Thursday (04.09.14) after being taken off life support after suffering a cardiac arrest during a routine operation, says the private service at Temple Emanu-El in New York City on Sunday (07.09.14) was "really beautiful."
The E! News anchor, who co-hosted 'Fashion Police' with the late star, said: "It was exactly what she would have wanted.
"Joan said in her book ['I Hate Everyone...Starting With Me'] that she would want lights, camera, action and people lined up outside and paparazzi, and she got it."
She added: "There were tears, there wasn't just laughter, there was roaring laughter, and there were such funny moments. We were hysterically laughing with tears streaming down our face. It was great, really beautiful, touching."
The 'Giuliana & Bill' star says Joan was funny until the end.
She said: "After all these years, she still found the funny in everything."
Meanwhile, both State Health Department and the New York City Medical Examiner's Office are still investigating the cause of Joan's death, after failing to determine how she died in a preliminary autopsy.
Medical sources told The New York Daily News that a biopsy on Rivers' vocal cords was carried out by a doctor who accompanied her to the Yorkville Endoscopy, and she was placed under general anesthesia.
But the clinic denies ever having performed the procedure at their facility and added: "General anesthesia has never been administered at Yorkville Endoscopy. The type of sedation used at Yorkville Endoscopy is monitored anesthesia care. Our anesthesiologists utilise light to moderate sedation."

Jenny McCarthy is ‘over the moon’ to be married

Jenny McCarthy is "over the moon" to be married.
The former 'The View' co-host, who recently tied the knot with New Kids on the Block singer Donnie Wahlberg during a glamorous ceremony near Chicago, couldn't stop gushing about her new husband and their nuptials at Panasonic's Beauty Bar at Salon SCK in New York City on Monday (08.09.14).
A source told PEOPLE.com: "She could not stop talking about how over the moon she was with her wedding and her life as a married woman. She talked about how the reception wasn't too over-the-top."
The blonde beauty, 41, who has son Evan, 11, from a previous marriage, also proudly showed off her new wedding ring to close pal Carmen Electra at the New York Fashion Week event.
The source said: "Carmen checked out Jenny's wedding ring, which Donnie had engraved with their initials. She said it was one of the most beautiful things she'd ever seen."
The couple - who got engaged in April - enjoyed a luxurious honeymoon at the romantic Glenmere Mansion hotel in New York's Hudson Valley after their wedding.
Donnie, 45, has sons Xavier, 21, and Elijah, 12, with ex-wife Kimberly Fey.

Lorde has ‘a fearsome reputation’

Lorde claims she has developed "a fearsome reputation."
The 17-year-old singer has learned to stand up for herself in the music industry and admits people are often surprised by her attitude because she is so young.
The 'Royals' hitmaker told the October issue of Elle magazine: "A lot of times when people meet me, they'll definitely try to make me feel young or experienced. Teenagers are such a discerning group of people. They'll immediately sniff out anything that feels contrived."
She added: "I've developed something of a fearsome reputation. People know that if you talk down to me, I will roll my eyes or whatever."
The New Zealand native says the positive feedback she receives from her fans inspires her to be more outspoken.
She explained: "People have told me that I've helped them feel confident, like they can say things they want to say. They can talk about feminism in class without people calling them a lesbian. That's so amazing that I can make someone feel like that."
The 'Team' singer is currently working on her second album and recently admitted some of her new tracks are "weird."
She said: "I'm definitely writing new stuff. I don't know how everything will end up. The first period of writing after you have recorded an album, it all sounds like the album before it.
"I'm trying to get that out of my system and move it to a new place. But I've been writing with some good people and just doing weird, cool stuff - which is always good for being creative."

Jessica Alba regrets not going to college

Jessica Alba regrets not going to college.
The 'Sin City 2: A Dame to Kill For' actress admits she was "always kind of insecure" when she was younger and never felt smart because she didn't finish her education.
The 33-year-old star, who has daughters, Haven, three, and Honor, six, with husband Cash Warren, said: "I was always also insecure about not going to college and I always felt I wasn't smart enough.
"My teens and my 20s I just wasn't sure of myself and I was always kind of insecure and I always felt I needed to apologise for myself."
The brunette beauty credits her family and getting older for helping her to become more confident.
The 'Fantastic Four' actress, whose eco-friendly brand The Honest Company was recently valued at almost $1 billion, told 'The Meredith Vieira Show': "After I became, first of all 30 and being a mom of two I just sort of came into myself as a woman and now I have a company."
She added: "I feel better now especially after 30, it's crazy what happens."
Jessica previously insisted she is too independent to be a stay-at-home mother and wants to set an example for her children.
She said: "I think it's different for everyone. Some mums really don't want to work and that's fine.
"For me, I wouldn't know what that is like because that's a part of who I am. I have aspirations.
"I want to be with my kids so they can see that in their life they can be anything they want and they can do their own thing and pay their own way."

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are just friends

Miley Cyrus has reportedly been spending time with Liam Hemsworth again.
The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker, who called off her engagement to the 'Hunger Games' actor last September, still cares about the Australian heartthrob, but friends insist it's very unlikely they will rekindle their relationship.
A source close to the duo told E! News: "They are not likely to reconcile. They have moved on but are still friends. They still care about each other but it's not romantic."
Another insider brushed off reports the former couple have been meeting in secret in Los Angeles recently, saying: "They've always stayed in touch."
Last month, the 21-year-old singer admitted she still loves her 24-year-old ex-boyfriend, whom she dated on and off for four years.
Speaking about their friendship, she said: "I love Liam, Liam loves me."
Liam was also overheard gushing about his ex-lover - whom he started dating while filming 'The Last Song' in 2009 - during dinner with friends in Italy in July and told pals they will always be best friends.
A source said at the time: "Liam kept raving about how amazing she was, how much they clicked and understood everything about each other."
