Jenny McCarthy is "over the moon" to be married.
The former ‘The View’ co-host, who recently tied the knot with New Kids on the Block singer Donnie Wahlberg during a glamorous ceremony near Chicago, couldn’t stop gushing about her new husband and their nuptials at Panasonic’s Beauty Bar at Salon SCK in New York City on Monday (08.09.14).
A source told PEOPLE.com: "She could not stop talking about how over the moon she was with her wedding and her life as a married woman. She talked about how the reception wasn’t too over-the-top."
The blonde beauty, 41, who has son Evan, 11, from a previous marriage, also proudly showed off her new wedding ring to close pal Carmen Electra at the New York Fashion Week event.
The source said: "Carmen checked out Jenny’s wedding ring, which Donnie had engraved with their initials. She said it was one of the most beautiful things she’d ever seen."
The couple – who got engaged in April – enjoyed a luxurious honeymoon at the romantic Glenmere Mansion hotel in New York’s Hudson Valley after their wedding.
Donnie, 45, has sons Xavier, 21, and Elijah, 12, with ex-wife Kimberly Fey.
