David Duchovny and Tea Leoni are still close

David Duchovny and Téa Leoni have "always loved each other."
The former couple got divorced recently after 17 years of marriage, but the 48-year-old actress insists they are still on good terms for the sake of their children, daughter Madelaine West, 15, and son Kyd Miller, 12.
The 'Madam Secretary' star told Parade magazine: "Listen, David gave me the two greatest gifts on the planet; I don't know how I could ever hate him. We've always loved each other, and we adore these kids."
She added: "I'm not playing stupid - I understand feelings can get hurt and things can get icky. We've had our moments like that. But these kids are too important, and he feels the same way, I know it. He's a good guy ... There was that brief moment when the kids said, 'Oh, I can work a scam on you here and him over there,' and we were like, 'News flash - no!'"
'Californication' star David, 54, cited "an irretrievable breakdown of the relationship" when he quietly filed for divorce in June.
The duo, who both live in New York City, agreed to share joint legal custody of their children, but Téa has primary physical custody.
The pair got married in 1997 but separated in 2008 with Duchovny checking into a facility to be treated for sex addiction the same year.
The pair rekindled their romance before splitting again in June 2011.
In 2012, the former 'X-Files' star insisted they were still married, but separated.

Chris Brown gained 35 pounds in jail

Chris Brown gained 35 pounds in prison.
The 'Loyal' hitmaker, who spent 108 days behind bars for violating his probation when he allegedly made threats about using guns while seeking anger-management treatment in rehab earlier this year, admits he was afraid of being told he looked "fat" upon his release in June after his weight increased from 180 to 215 pounds.
The 25-year-old star told 'Extra': "My normal weight is like 180 [and] I was 215 when I got out of jail."
He added: "I couldn't fit in my jeans, fit in my clothes. I was scared to go out. I was like, 'Man, people will see me and I look fat.' "
The 'Fine China' singer has since slimmed down by exercising as much as possible.
He said: "So after a while I went and played a lot of basketball, a lot of cardio...[and] I was always dancing, always dancing, trying to get my body back."
Chris, who is dating Karrueche Tran, insists he will "never forget" his time in jail and believes it has helped him finally regain control of his life.
He said: "It was definitely one of the things I'll never forget. For me, I just learned that nobody's invincible, everybody's equal, at the same time no amount of celebrity status, no amount of how many fans love you, no amount of anything can deter you away from the real if you make a mistake and nobody's excusable.
"I think for me it was a humbling experience for me to become a man and mature."

Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting loves party planning

Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting would be a party planner in another life.
The 'Big Bang Theory' actress loves planning extravagant events and pulled out all the stops to organise a surprise birthday bash for her husband, Ryan Sweeting, at their home in Los Angeles in July.
The 28-year-old beauty told 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show': "If I wasn't an actor, I would be a party planner in another life. I had a lot of help, but I hired synchronised swimmers to dance to our favorite song, which is One Direction's ['What Makes You Beautiful']. It was my version of strippers. And that was the closest thing I was gonna do. That was the strippers. They were in the water and they were all [synchronised]."
She added: "I always want like special things that people are going to remember. I said, 'I want a mermaid.' Literally. So we found this woman who does this for a living... She just hung out in the pool. What was so funny was legally she had to be out of the pool once an hour. So the security would come and lift her up and take her to my room for 10 minutes [every] hour and she would just sit in there because she didn't have any legs... We would feed her and she would come back out.
"We were trying to do the mermaid thing by like, throwing fish at her."
Kaley's co-stars recently praised her for throwing the "best parties" among the cast.
Melissa Rauch said: "A lot of us hang out. It's just a close knit group. Kaley is the best at throwing parties."
Meanwhile, Kaley insists while she "can't wait" to have a baby with professional tennis player Ryan, they currently have their hands full with their dogs.
She said: "We do want to have kids, but I'm a little... I lost this dog in the backyard so many times that I'm afraid I need to practice on not losing her so I don't actually lose my child."

Dax Shepard explains bell tattoo

Dax Shepard got a tattoo on his wedding ring finger because he hates jewellery.
The 39-year-old actor, who is married to 'Veronica Mars' star Kristen Bell, decided to get a picture of a small bell inked on his left ring finger after they tied the knot last October instead of wearing a traditional wedding band.
The 'Parenthood' star told 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show': "I don't like wearing jewellery, but I felt obliged to warn all the men that I'm taken. So, I thought a tattoo would be fitting. And her last name conveniently is an object I could tattoo. And there's little letters in there."
The design includes the letters K, L and D to represent the couple and their 17-month-old daughter, Lincoln.
The duo announced in June that they are expecting their second child and Dax hinted they are planning to have a few more in the future.
He joked: "We are building a circus."
The 'Employee of the Month' star also revealed that he and his 34-year-old wife already know the sex of their unborn baby.
Asked if they're having a boy or a girl, he quipped: "It's going to be a surprise, to America."

Demi Lovato brings inspirational speaker on tour

Demi Lovato has teamed up with an inspirational speaker for her new 'Demi World Tour'.
The 'Heart Attack' hitmaker, who sought treatment in rehab for eating disorders, drug abuse and a self-harming disorder in late 2010, has hired activist Spencer West to share "his empowering message" before she takes to the stage every night in favour of having a musical warm-up act.
Announcing the news on her Facebook page today (19.09.14), the 22-year-old star wrote: "Spencer West is not only a really great friend of mine, but a huge inspirational speaker. After I spent some time around him and realised what an amazing person he is and how incredible he is at speaking, I decided to bring him on tour."
The duo met in Africa in August 2013, where they were both volunteering with the organisation Free the Children, which seeks to educate, engage and empower young people to become active local and global citizens.
She added: "This is a different kind of tour and one of the things that makes it so special is my friend, Spencer. I'm so honored to have him on tour with me sharing his beautiful and empowering message with all of us."
Spencer said he "hopes to inspire folks to make the world a better place."
Demi, who kicked off the US leg of her concert series earlier this month, previously admitted she wants to surround herself with positive people to help her stay on track.
She said: "The kinds of people that I'm surrounding myself with now are people who are beneficial not only to my recovery but also to the lifestyle that I want to have, which is peaceful and serene. I look for people who I can hang out with without relying on bad habits to have fun--people who I can go bowling with, or literally just watch TV and knit with, people who love me for me and don't care if I'm tall or short, fat or thin.

Ryan Gosling is a ‘hands-on’ dad

Ryan Gosling is a "very hands-on" father.
The 'Notebook' star and his long-term girlfriend Eva Mendes, 40, welcomed their first child into the world last Friday (12.09.14), and the 33-year-old actor has already started documenting their baby girl's milestones on video.
A source close to the couple, who started dating in September 2011, said: "Ryan is very hands-on. Changes diapers, rocks her to sleep - they gave her her first bath together and videotaped the whole thing."
The duo are continuing to lay low at their mansion in Hidden Hills, Los Angeles, but are getting a lot of help from their mothers, who have both been helping to keep the place clean and cook.
The insider also told E! News: "Both grandmothers are so in love and have been to the house every day."
The duo, who met on the set of their movie 'The Place Beyond The Pines' three years ago, are "blissfully in love" and their first child has brought them even closer together.
Another source previously said: "Ryan is madly in love with the baby.
"[Eva is] absolutely in heaven being a mom. She's never been happier.
"She and Ryan are just in awe of this beautiful person they created. It's a really special time for them."
The couple are yet to reveal the name of their little one nor officially confirm the birth of their daughter.

Jessica Simpson astronaut dream dashed by ice cream

Jessica Simpson was put off becoming an astronaut because she hated the ice cream at space camp.
The singer and fashion designer used to want to fly around space as her job but her aspirations were cruelly crushed because she couldn't stomach the sweet treat they served up while she was training to be an astronaut.
She said: "My first dream was to be an astronaut. I even went to space camp, but then I tried their ice cream and was like, 'There's no way.' "
While the 34-year-old star didn't manage to land her initial dream job, Jessica - who has daughter Maxwell, two, and son, Ace, 14 months, with husband Eric Johnson - is pleased she gets the chance to design clothing that helps women to feel confident about themselves.
She added to PEOPLE magazine: "Seeing people wearing the things that you've designed is the best feeling on the planet. There's nothing better than knowing you're making women feel confident around the world.
"I don't feel like I have expectations to live up to. What's more important is understanding the everyday woman, and I think I know how to connect to her. I've been every size and shape, and I've dressed every one of my friends.
"The responses I get from my fans give me purpose."

Jennifer Garner doesn’t want Twitter guilt

Jennifer Garner doesn't want Twitter to make her feel "guilty".
The 'Men, Women & Children' actress - who has kids Violet, eight, Seraphina, five, and Samuel, two, with husband Ben Affleck - admits she isn't very good at replying to emails so prefers not to participate much in social media as she doesn't want to neglect anything else.
She said: "I have an official Facebook page. I'm not on Twitter, Instagram.
"I have a couple of reasons. One, I don't want any more guilt coming from my phone or computer. I have the hardest time answering emails, anyway, so the last thing I want to feel is indebted to my phone or computer. So it's time."
And the 42-year-old star doesn't think her life is interesting enough for photo-sharing site Instagram.
She added to People magazine: "And the other is, what would I Instagram that people would want to see. There is nothing I would put out that people would want to see. It's probably best to stay away. They don't want to see me and my mom friends after kindergarten drop-off."
Jennifer can next be seen playing Kaitlyn Dever's mother in 'Men, Women & Children' and the actresses had so much fun together, they are hoping for a sequel.
Kaitlyn said: "It was so easy."
Jennifer added: I feel like we're owed one more [film]."

Fashion Police future in doubt

'Fashion Police' may come to an end following Joan Rivers' death.
Host Giuliana Rancic - who has worked on the show alongside the late comic since it began in 2010 - admits producers, including her friend's daughter Melissa Rivers, and E! bosses are still in discussions about the future of the programme and she and co-hosts Kelly Osbourne and George Kotsiopoulos are in the dark as to what is going to happen.
Giuliana said: "They are looking at different scenarios.
"A lot of that will be up to [Melissa] and how she's feeling and how she decides what she wants to do, along with the execs here at E! There is no word now - they are seeing what 'Fashion Police' looks like without Joan.
"A part of me is like Joan would want Melissa and us and the team to go on and I know she would, but it's just a matter of can there be a show without Joan? Do we want to do a 'Fashion Police' without Joan? I don't know."
Joan passed away on September 4, a week after she stopped breathing during throat surgery, and Giuliana, 40, was stunned when she heard the news as she though Joan was doing "better than ever" before the operation.
She told ABC News: "It was the shock of a lifetime, it really was.
"I had just seen Joan 48 hours before her procedure. We were taping the Emmy 'Fashion Police' show and she was honestly better than ever and she even looked better than ever at 81."
And the presenter is still struggling to come to terms with the fact Joan has gone.
She said: "I still think she's going to walk through the door and yell, 'Giuliana, get back to work.' And it's hard to wrap my mind around never seeing her again.
"Joan really was larger than life. I think that's a reason I can't imagine her gone."
