Max George rescues boy from drowning

Max George rescued a young boy from drowning on Monday (22.09.14).
The Wanted singer was reportedly enjoying a day at the beach in Santa Monica, California with two friends, when he spotted the boy, who was approximately 10 years of age, struggling to swim against a riptide, and rushed into the ocean to save him.
A source told E! News that Max immediately sprang into action and brought the boy back to the shore safely, holding him above the water until they were back on the beach.
A lifeguard then took over and attended to the victim.
The 26-year-old British star alluded to the incident one day later on Twitter, writing: "The waves at Santa Monica are gruesome sometimes!"
Earlier this year, Max revealed he was planning to move to Los Angeles to carve out a career as an actor after the band performed their last gig last month.
The 'Chasing The Sun' hitmaker said at the time: "I've already been signed with CAA, a big agency in Hollywood. After the tour I'm going to move to LA, get a house and settle there. I'm going to do auditions and learn the business. There's talk of a couple of roles already."

Jessica Simpson is ‘addicted’ to her husband

Jessica Simpson is "a little more addicted" to Eric Johnson since their wedding.
The 34-year-old star, who has daughter Maxwell, two, and son, Ace, 14-months, with the former NFL star, admits their relationship has "changed" since they tied the knot near Santa Barbara, California in July.
The blonde beauty gushed: "It is the most exciting time. Marriage has changed us in a lot of ways."
She added: "We are a little more addicted to each other. There is a level of love that has reached the highest of highs."
The Weight Watchers spokesperson, who lost 50 pounds before her wedding, insists she never lost sight of her self-worth when she was struggling to regain her pre-pregnancy body, but admits she "feels more comfortable in my skin" now.
She also told the 'TODAY' show: "It wasn't my priority to please the public and make them feel like I'm supposed to be looking like when I was 25.
"I don't think that I wasn't still a sex symbol. To my husband I was extremely sexy."
Despite being criticised for her figure in the past, Jessica added: "It empowered me to rise above and stand up for all the women out there that do have trouble losing the weight."

The Situation charged with tax evasion

Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino has been charged with alleged tax evasion.
The former 'Jersey Shore' star, 32, has been accused of deliberately filing fraudulent returns between 2010 and 2012 in order to make it appear he had paid the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) in full after earning $8.9 million, and also of failing to file a tax return in 2011.
The Situation's brother, Marc Sorrentino, has also been charged with conspiracy to commit tax fraud and they both appeared in court in Newark, New Jersey today (24.09.14), according to gossip website TMZ.com.
U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Paul J. Fishman told NJ.com: "Michael and Marc Sorrentino filed false tax returns that incorrectly reported millions made from promotions and appearances. The brothers allegedly also claimed costly clothes and cars as business expenses and funneled company money into personal accounts. The law is absolutely clear: telling the truth to the IRS is not optional."
Mike has been indicted on two counts of filing false returns and one count of conspiracy, which each carry a maximum potential penalty of three years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
The reality TV star could also be sentenced to a year in prison and receive a $100,000 fine if he's convicted of failing to file his 2011 income tax return.
He appeared to acknowledge his mistakes on Twitter today, writing: "To be old and wise you must first be young and dumb."

Kristen Bell is teaching her baby sign language

Kristen Bell uses sign language to communicate with her daughter.
The 'Frozen' star, who is expecting her second child with husband Dax Shepard, thinks their 17-month-old little girl, Lincoln, is "the smartest baby ever" because she is already talking "a bit" and knows "40-50 signs."
She said: "She signs a lot, which is nice. There's a lot of research to suggest that they will be happier if they can communicate before their verbal scores are developed.
"There's a time when they can understand everything you're saying but their verbal scores don't exist."
She added: "I can talk to her and she'll sign in three, four word sentences which is really amazing. She'll come in the kitchen and be like [signing] 'More crackers please!' And I'm like, 'Yes, okay!' "
She added: "She's MENSA, without a question!? She's the smartest baby ever!"
But the 34-year-old actress admits Lincoln is also already very opinionated.
She told UsMagazine.com: "It's the tantrum stage."
Kristen's second pregnancy is going smoothly and she is grateful her hormones aren't out of control.
She said: "Same as the first one! Really easy, thank God. I've had a lot of friends who have had rough pregnancies and I'm really, really thankful.
"People are affected differently by hormones, we're all different."

Amber Rose files for divorce from Wiz Khalifa

Amber Rose has filed for divorce from Wiz Khalifa.
The 30-year-old model, who has a 19-month-old son, Sebastian, with the rapper, split from the 'Black And Yellow' hitmaker on Monday (22.09.14) after 14-months of marriage, and is seeking full custody of their little boy.
According to court documents, obtained by gossip website TMZ.com, the blonde beauty cites irreconcilable differences and wants full legal and physical custody of Sebastian, but is willing to give Wiz visitation access.
Amber acknowledges the couple, who secretly married during a civil ceremony at a Los Angeles courthouse in July 2013, have a valid prenuptial agreement, which provides spousal support.
Sources close to the former couple say their split is bitter amid rumours Amber recently started hanging out with Nick Cannon, who recently separated from his wife Mariah Carey.
Wiz, 27, previously gushed about his relationship with Amber and admitted he was overcome with emotion on their wedding day.
The 'We Dem Boyz' hitmaker said: "Seeing her walk down the aisle ... was just mind-blowing. It was beautiful. I'm so proud of my baby for what she did. She put all of that together and everybody's ranting and raving over every little detail about it. Those things didn't happen on their own, she did it."

Ashley Tisdale French married ‘best friend’

Ashley Tisdale French married her "best friend".
The 29-year-old actress tied the knot with rocker Christopher French near Santa Barbara, California earlier this month and though she says making their union official doesn't feel different, she couldn't be happier.
She told CBS: "It felt like I was married before or something--I guess because we act that way. It definitely feels amazing," she said. "It feels different but doesn't. It's like I married my best friend. It's the best feeling in the world. This relationship was definitely different from any other relationship I ever had...Nothing is forced. It's the best feeling ever."
The couple - who got engaged in August 2013 after eight months of dating - tied the knot on a Monday and the 'High School Musical' star admits they chose an untraditional day to help keep their big day private.
She told KIIS-FM DJ Ryan Seacrest: "It definitely was for two reasons.
"The 8th was our anniversary so I wanted to land on an 8th, and thankfully it landed on a Monday in September.
"Also, I figured it was a good idea, because I figured out like, 'Oh, I don't think anybody would figure this one out,' and that was to protect the privacy of it."
And Ashley was stunned she was able to keep their wedding a secret because she had been planning it for so long.
She said: "It's been something that you prepare for a year. I had to be really quiet about it because I wanted to make sure it was super quiet and intimate. The fact that nobody knew we got married was unbelievable!"

Kendra Wilkinson believed Hank Baskett over affair accusation

Kendra Wilkinson still doesn't know whether to believe her husband's infidelity denials.
The 29-year-old beauty confronted Hank Baskett when told he had had an affair with transsexual model Ava Sabrina London and though he has continued to deny the claims and Kendra initially believed him, she is unsure whether he is telling the truth.
The former Playboy playmate told People magazine: "My manager called and asked, 'Is Hank with you? I was just playing around and said, 'No.' Hank leaned in and I said, 'Why? What's going on?' "
Kendra then confronted her husband with the allegation, explaining: "I just asked, 'Hank, did anything happen?' He said, 'No, are you kidding me? This is insane!' So I believed him....
"I really don't know what to believe [now]. But this is real life. This is really what's happening. It's been the hardest four months of my life."
The story hit the hit headlines less than 24 hours later, leading Kendra to kick her husband out of their family home in Los Angeles, where she continued to care for their daughter Alijah, now four months, though her son, four-year-old Hank jr. went to stay with his dad.
Through this period, Kendra was happy to continue filming her reality show 'Kendra on Top' because it meant she had company.
She said: "I agreed to shoot the show because being alone at the moment was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life.
"The producers came to me, and were hugging and holding me. They asked, 'Do you want to film this?' I said, 'Bring the cameras to me ... I can't be alone right now.' "
A clip from the new series of the reality show reveals Kendra considering divorcing her husband and telling Hank their marriage "is a huge lie".

Feminist Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is a feminist.
The 'Dark Knight Rises' actor doesn't believe people should be defined on restricted by their gender and has made a video explaining his views.
In his 'Re: Feminism' film, which has been posted on his HitRecord production company's YouTube Channel, he said: "Your gender does not have to define who you are. That you can be whatever you want to be whoever you want to be regardless of your gender."
The 33-year-old star went on to discuss the differing viewpoints he discovered while investigating feminism and explained what he had learned from his feminist mother.
He continued: "So not only was feminism something that my mom taught me about, motherhood is right at the core of what feminism is or isn't...For me as a feminist, it should be up to the woman to decide if she wants to be a mom.
"If that's what she wants to do full-time, that's awesome, that's what my mom did. But if she wants to go out and have a career apart from being a mom, then she should be able to do that as well, and that's to the benefit of everybody."
The video closes with an appeal to fans, with Joseph asking for views on what feminism means and whether people consider themselves to be feminist, as he aims to produce a film of the submitted opinions in a bid to inspire others.

Zsa Zsa Gabor: Joan Rivers ‘deserved’ to die

Zsa Zsa Gabor joked Joan Rivers "deserved" to die.
The 97-year-old actress was reportedly amused when the comic died aged 81 earlier this month because she had been so mean to other celebrities.
Zsa Zsa's husband, Prince Frédéric von Anhalt, told National Enquirer magazine: "Zsa Zsa was watching TV when Joan died, and asked what happened.
"She said, 'She badmouthed us all. She deserved it. She's gone and I'm still here!'
"I thought that was sad but funny."
In the 1960s, Joan - who died a week after suffering a cardiac arrest while undergoing throat surgery - used to supply the actress with jokes, but over the years she used the Hungarian-born star as the butt of her humour.
She once joked: "Zsa Zsa has had so much plastic surgery that when she fainted the other day, no one knew whether to take her to the local hospital or to the Tupperware factory!"
Meanwhile, Zsa Zsa has suffered ill health in the last few years and has largely been bed-bound since having her right leg amputated above the knee three years ago.
