Lionel Richie doesn’t need help in the bedroom

Lionel Richie says he doesn't need any help in the bedroom from his fellow artists.
The 65-year-old star, who previously turned to Sting and Coldplay to help him seduce women, prefers to play instrumental music when he's being romantic these days, as he finally realised he "can do it alone."
Speaking to 'Ireland AM,' in an upcoming interview that will air on TV3 in Ireland on Monday (29.09.14), the 'All Night Long' hitmaker said: "If there's lyrics, that's wrong. I want a sexy classical guitar, a very sexy piano and maybe some strings but I always said to myself, and now that I'm a little older, do I really need any help in the bedroom by having my fellow artists come in and help me out? No! So Sting, stay out of the room because I've finally realised I can do this alone and I have enough going on!!"
The five-time Grammy winner occasionally appears on his daughter Nicole Richie's reality TV series, 'Candidly Nicole,' and thinks it gives fans a very real insight into their lives and relationship.
The 'Endless Love' singer, who will kick off his 31-date European tour next March, said: "You get to see her humour, her happy family and that the grandkids are finally realising that 'pop-pop' [Lionel] maybe sings for a living!"

Bradley Cooper says kids are the ‘next big step’

Bradley Cooper says having children is the "next big step" in his life.
The 39-year-old actor, who has been dating 22-year-old British model Suki Waterhouse since February 2013, admits he is "looking forward" to having a family, but is disappointed his late father Charles, who died in 2011, won't be there to share the experience with him.
The 'American Hustle' star told the latest issue of Square Mile magazine: "I would love to be a father one day. I'm sorry my father won't be around to see his grandchildren, but he knows fatherhood was something I was looking forward to. That's my next big step in life."
While Bradley is smitten with Suki, he also has a special friendship with Jennifer Lawrence, who he is set to co-star alongside for the third time in their upcoming movie, 'Serena.'
He said: "We've had so much fun working together and I'm so proud of her success. She's one of the most down-to-earth and unpretentious individuals you could ever meet, and it's such a pleasure to spend time with her."
He added: "She's incredibly talented; she's one of those natural performers who are instinctively good at what they do."
The 'Hangover' heartthrob has been nominated for an Oscar twice in the last two years, but admits he used to worry he would never make it to the top and is still "hungry" for success.
He said: "There's this crushing anxiety you feel when you're not getting the parts you want, and you wonder if acting is your destiny.
"I struggled for a long time, and you never forget what you went through to finally make it. Even with the success I've had, I still fight for roles that I don't wind up getting, so there's still enough uncertainty to keep you hungry."

Samuel L Jackson hosts star-studded karaoke party

Samuel L. Jackson hosted a star-studded karaoke party in London last night (25.09.14).
The 65-year-old actor was joined by famous faces including Toni Collette, Dominic Cooper, Nicole Scherzinger and Nick Grimshaw at the renowned Abbey Road Studios to record a new charity single, 'Say Something,' to raise awareness and funds for One For The Boys' Man Movement, which aims to educated men on male cancer.
The 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' star, who is the organisation's chairman, said: "What better way is there to unite men than through music? Last night saw us mark the start of the recording of our charity single, 'Say Something,' which we hope will make men realise that they can say something when it comes to cancer. Men don't tend to talk about their health issues, thinking it reveals vulnerability."
He added: "One For The Boys aims to shine a blue light into the world of campaigning, cutting through the noise to educate men, encouraging early detection and treatment. We believe this single featuring the world's leading artists, can save lives."
Samuel also performed a rendition of 'Show Me Love' at the event and was dubbed the "Karoke King" by model Daisy Lowe, who posted a video of him singing on her Instagram profile.
Penned by group A Great Big World, 'Say Something,' which will also feature Paul McCartney, is set to go head-to-head with the next 'X Factor' winner for the Christmas number one and all the proceeds will go to the charity.
Launched by Sofia Davis in 2013, One For The Boys' celebrity ambassadors include Michael Douglas, Simon Pegg, Colin Firth and John Bishop.

Carrie Underwood: Pregnancy news still sinking in

Carrie Underwood finds it "weird" that she is pregnant.
The 'See You Again' singer announced earlier this month that she and her husband Mike Fisher are expecting their first child and the 31-year-old star admits the news still hasn't sunk in.
Speaking on the 'Today' show, she said: "It's still kinda weird, to be honest.
"Sometimes I'll be with my husband, and it's like, I'm gonna be a mom. You're gonna be a dad. Is this real life? But we're really excited."
The country singer is already looking to her own mother for inspiration on the type of parent she wants to be.
She said: "I have a wonderful mother, so if I can be even a little bit like that, we'll be good."
Meanwhile, the blonde beauty used her appearance on the programme to announce a new single, 'Something in the Water' and greatest hits collection.
She said: The song is called 'Something in the Water' and it's going to be a single off my greatest hits album, which will come out December 9...It's very uplifting.
"It's about changing your life for the better and having that 'aha moment' to waking up and your life being different from that moment forward."
Carrie - who married hockey player Mike, 34, in 2010 - has previously admitted she wants more than one child but not too large a family.
She has said: "Three is fine. Four? Somebody's getting something done, because we ain't having five!"

Lena Dunham didn’t enjoy sex til 25

Lena Dunham didn't enjoy sex until she was 25.
The 'Girls' star - who has been dating Fun.'s Jack Antonoff for two years - used to spend too much time "worrying" about her partner's pleasure to even consider her own enjoyment and has finally realised what makes "good" lovemaking.
She said: "I don't think I even thought about whether I was enjoying sex until I was, like, 25, because I was so worried about whether other people were enjoying sex with me that it never would have occurred to me that it was an act I was supposed to receive any pleasure from.
"And then what I realised was having good sex takes two people who want to make each other feel good. There isn't a person who's 'good at sex' because it's an alchemy, it's a thing that happens between two people."
The 28-year-old star admitted most of the sex she had before meeting Jack was "disastrous" and she thinks it is largely because her lack of self-confidence meant she was attracted to the wrong people.
Answering fan's questions on YouTube, she said: "Before my current boyfriend, who's a lovely, lovely person, I had a train of the most disastrous, despicable, van-dwelling monsters in my bed and my bed and in my life.
"You have to love yourself to love someone who's going to love you. Let's take a moment to think about whether that made sense. An attraction to nice people is truly something that comes when you have an attraction to yourself.
"When you feel a lot of negativity towards yourself, you're almost sexually attracted to people who are going to reflect that back at you. When you learn to love and appreciate those qualities that you've tried so hard to suppress, suddenly that behaviour's just not going to be charming to you anymore."

Eva Mendes has nickname for baby

Eva Mendes reportedly calls her daughter 'Preciosa'.
The 'Hitch' actress, who gave birth to her first child with boyfriend Ryan Gosling earlier this month, has yet to reveal their newborn baby girl's actual name, but has reportedly started using the nickname, which means precious in Spanish.
A source close to the 40-year-old beauty said she is completely besotted with the tot.
The insider told People magazine: "Eva's in the deliriously tired but blissfully-in-love stage where she wants to do everything herself."
The actress and 'The Notebook' star Ryan, 33, "are both floating on a cloud," and the source added: "Eva is so happy it gives you chills.
"Ryan is madly in love with the baby. He changed diapers and assisted with the baby's first bath. He had tears in his eyes when the baby was born."
Ryan once vowed to scale back his workload when he had a family and a source also previously said he had no desire to work during Eva's pregnancy.
The source said: "His family is now his number one priority. He's accomplished everything work-wise that he had hoped and this is the next step in his life."
The couple started dating in 2011 after meeting on the set of their movie 'The Place Beyond The Pines'.

Jennifer Love Hewitt ready to work

Jennifer Love Hewitt is happy to be returning to work.
The 35-year-old actress, who welcomed her first child, Autumn, with husband Brian Hallisay into the world last November, is set to play a psychologist on the upcoming season of 'Criminal Minds' and admits she couldn't resist accepting the role, especially because all the focus won't be on her..
She said: "It's nice being part of an ensemble because the show isn't riding on my shoulders. I go to work, kick some butt and then go to bed."
Asked if she's ready to juggle motherhood and her career, she said: "It will be touch-and-go for a while. My baby's adjusting. But I'm happy.
"We call her the 'Happy Buddha.' She's so joyful. She makes life exciting."
Jennifer is looking forward to getting back into a steady routine after a "whirlwind" few years.
She told Us Weekly magazine: "The past few years have been a whirlwind. Losing my mom [in 2012] was shocking, then meeting the love of my life and having a baby... it all hit at once."
The brunette beauty is besotted with her daughter, but admits she was often terrified during her pregnancy.
She explained: "For nine months you're terrified. And there are mornings where you're like, I'm not going to get through the day. But you wake up and do it again. It's great."

Snooki gives birth to baby girl

Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi has given birth to a baby girl.
The former 'Jersey Shore' star and fiance Jionni LaValle - with who she already has two-year-old son Lorenzo - welcomed "perfect" daughter Giovanna Marie into the world earlier today (26.09.14).
Snooki shared the happy news on her Twitter page, posting: "So happy to let you know we had our beautiful daughter this morning Giovanna Marie LaValle. 6.7 lbs, full head of black hair & perfect (sic)"
The 26-year-old star's best friend, Jenni 'JWoww' Farley - who welcomed her daughter Meilani into the world two months ago - has already been to visit her pal and the new arrival.
Posting a picture on her website of her visit to the hospital, with Snooki cradling the baby in her arms, she wrote: "My best friend gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl .... Giovanna is a stunning 6.7lb perfect angel!(sic)"
JWoww recently admitted Snooki had been acting like a character in 'The Exorcist' during her second pregnancy.
She said: "I hated my pregnancy. They say [baby girls] take your oestrogen so your hormones are more depleted.
"I don't know if that's true or not because I never had a boy, but I'm looking at Nicole - she loved the pregnancy with Lorenzo. This one, I'm scared of her. It's like 'The Exorcist.' "

Lady Gaga feels overwhelmed by nerves

Lady Gaga feels overwhelmed by her nerves.
The 'Anything Goes' singer has admitted she often feels overcome with anxiety because her new music showcases her real voice, without the pop production of her previous records.
Speaking on ITV's 'Good Morning Britain', she said: "I'm very overwhelmed, I have mornings when I'm not quite sure what to do with my nerves and I think it's also because people are hearing really my true voice for the first time so I feel very vulnerable."
The 28-year-old star released her fourth studio album 'Cheek to Cheek' this week, on which she has recorded a series of duets with the legendary jazz crooner, Tony Bennett.
Discussing her work with the 'I Left My Heart in San Francisco' artist, she gushed: "I've been waiting for this moment and I was excited to be rebellious against my pop career."
The 'Do What U Want' hitmaker has been so moved by the experience of working with the 88-year-old legend that she decided to ink a trumpet tattoo onto her arm, representing the jazz sound of the pair's album.
Gaga explained: "I wanted to remember this moment forever ... I wanted this [tattoo] to be the biggest because for me this is the biggest moment in my life.
"I'm really grateful to [Tony] for personal things... I think I sing better on stage with Tony even than I do in the studio."
