Katy Perry's boyfriend Diplo is having a baby with his ex-girlfriend.
The DJ and music producer and his former flame Kathryn Lockhart are having a second child together, a sibling for their four-year-old son, Lockett.
It is thought Kathryn was "newly pregnant" when Diplo - real name is Wesley Pentz - began dating Katy in April this year.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper's Confidenti@l column: "She's due in the next couple of weeks. Her friends recently had a baby shower for her. She and Wes aren't together, but he's actively involved in (Lockett's) life."
The news comes just weeks after Katy - who was married to comic Russell Brand for 14 months until December 2011 and has dated lothario John Mayer in the past - was said to be feeling "in control" of the relationship and keen to keep their blossoming romance "undercover".
A source said: "She's keeping this one undercover because she's learned her lesson. She's in control, but he likes that.
"He knows she's in charge and respects her. She keeps tabs on him ... but she trusts him and that's the most important thing to her."
Katy, 29, has already introduced Diplo, 35, to her family as their relationship gets more serious.
The source said: "Her family likes him a lot. You can see how comfortable she feels with him already because the whole crew hangs with him already and they approve. It's important that everyone gets along with him because makes her crazy life easier."

Kim Kardashian West used to be "obsessed" with Johnny Depp.
The 34-year-old star has revealed she used to have a cut-out of 'The Lone Ranger' actor - who earlier this year slammed "people who have reality shows because they're a Hollywood socialite" - on her wall next to her sister' Kourtney's Leonardo DiCaprio display because she was so enamored with the 51-year-old hunk.
She said: "Kourtney and I actually shared a room together at one point growing up. I loved Johnny Depp, I was obsessed with him, and she was really into Leonardo Dicaprio, so we had cutouts of them on our wall next to our Michael Jackson posters.
"I don't know who Khloe was into - she was younger than us, so it wasn't cool for us to hang out with our little sister"
But the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star - who has 16-month-old daughter North with husband Kanye West - should've perhaps spent less time daydreaming about Depp and more time studying as the raven-haired beauty has admitted she regrets not paying as much attention in history lessons at school.
Kim - who enjoyed a meal at the Palace Of Versailles in France the evening before her and Kanye's nuptials in Florence, Italy - added to Marie Claire UK magazine: "I travel a lot now and when I'm going to see these pretty castles, people talk about all these kings and queens and families.
"Obviously I had heard of them but I wish I remember their history.
"When we were in France we would go have dinner in different people's homes and they'd show us the cool pieces of art they have, all bought from a certain time period and they start describing it.
"Even going to Versailles and having to hear all the history all over again it's fascinating, but I wish I understood more."
As well as her passion for history, the reality star also has a penchant for extreme sports including surfing, paddle boarding and sky diving, but admits she isn't able to jump out of a plane as much nowadays since she had North.
She said: "I think you would be surprised to know that I really am athletic. I love extreme sporty things - paddle boarding, surfing and fly boarding - although since I had the baby, I don't do sky diving so much anymore."

Ashley Williams has welcomed her first child into the world.
The 'How I Met Your Mother' star - who has made recurring appearances as Victoria in the US sitcom since 2006 - gave birth to son Gus Williams Dodson, who weighed 8lbs 8oz, on Sunday (19.10.14), and admits he is "calm" at the moment.
She told PEOPLE magazine: "He's gorgeous and healthy. So far he's soothable and calm. Knock on wood!"
Ashley and her husband Neal Dodson are said to be delighted after welcoming their first child, and the 35-year-old beauty admitted they decided on the name because everyone loves the moniker Gus.
She added: "His name is Gus. For no other reason than: Who doesn't love a guy named Gus?
"We felt so safe and so lucky to have had such incredible support."
Ashley and Neal announced in July she was expecting, and the brunette star joked they hadn't exactly chosen the ideal moment to have a baby.
She quipped: "After years of waiting for the perfect moment to have a child, we decided to go with this moment instead. And we couldn't be more thrilled."

Nicole Scherzinger can relate to her "broken" 'Cats' character.
The former Pussy Cat Dolls singer feels a strong connection to Grizabella the Glamour Cat - the character she will playing as part of Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber's reboot of the musical 'Cats' which was based on the poems by T.S. Eliot - because she has faced many personal struggles like her fictional feline role.
Talking to the Daily Mail newspaper, Nicole explained: "There are so many layers to her ... no wonder Eliot warned it was too sad for children. Grizabella is broken and I know what that feels like, to be broken not only on the inside from personal relationships but in many ways.
"She's been shunned and mistreated by society and her people. I understand feeling like an outcast, feeling like an outsider, feeling like I don't fit in and wanting to be accepted."
Nicole also admitted that she has yet to sing her character's famous song, 'Memory' in front of Lord Webber and is waiting for rehearsals to start before she blows him away.
She explained: "It's sacred. I haven't touched the song because I'm waiting for rehearsals. Andrew and I have worked together a number of times. He has faith in me."
Despite her strong connection to the role, the 36-year-old singer confessed that she is actually allergic to cats.
She joked: "I'm allergic to cats! Like, I'm really allergic to cats. I like dogs."
Nicole will star in the West End production from December 2014 to February 2015.

Lindsay Lohan felt "upset and uncomfortable" after chat show host Jonathan Ross quizzed the actress about her time in jail.
The 'Mean Girls' star's team have reportedly asked ITV bosses to cut the section of their interview in which Jonathan, 53, asked Lindsay how long she spent behind bars.
responding to his question, the 28-year-old actress replied: "I have no idea. I've blocked that part out. That's in the past. OK. You are not putting this on the show."
Jonathan later reflected: "Well, it's been lovely, occasionally tense, having you here. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. I was just going on about the same subject, which is why you, understandably, got a little defensive."
However, show insiders have since dismissed the suggestion that Lindsay was left feeling uncomfortable by Jonathan's questions.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She seemed totally happy throughout. In fact, she seemed more than willing to talk about her time in prison as a whole and actually volunteered this information.
"Jonathan got some brilliant answers and actually professionally throughout. He did a great job.
"So we are totally bemused as to where this upset has suddenly come from days later."
Since 2010, Lindsay has been imprisoned for a number of offences, including the theft of a necklace, but was released prematurely due to prison overcrowding and was instead put under house arrest.

Taylor Swift is "stressed" out by the idea of being in a relationship.
The 'Shake It Off' hitmaker finds it difficult to deal with the constant scrutiny she comes under when she's dating, so is taking some time off from men to focus on herself.
She explained: "I get stressed when I think about getting into a relationship because I get beat up in the press whenever I go near a boy.
"So you can understand why I am taking a bit of a break.
"A relationship is not in my brain right now. So that's why 'Shake It Off' is a cheeky play of the character of me that has been written in the press.
"It's this complex mess of a girl who can get all of these guys but scares them because she is just very clingy and needy and mercurial and unpredictable."
However, the 24-year-old beauty - who has previously been dated One Direction hunk Harry Styles, musician John Mayer and 'Prisoners' actor Jake Gyllenhaal - insists that character is nothing like the real her.
She added to The Sun newspaper: "But this girl is not fictitious as that girl is not me."
Taylor went on to claim that while many of her friends begin a relationship as soon as their previous one comes to an end, she's enjoying being on her own for the time being.
She said: "I have a lot of friends who date one person after another after another.
"But staying single has been the best thing I have done."

Ashlee Simpson is planning to have another baby soon.
The 30-year-old singer, who recently married the 'Hunger Games' actor Evan Ross, is eager to give her five-year-old son, Bronx, whose father is her ex-husband Pete Wentz, another sibling.
A source close to the blonde beauty told Us Weekly magazine: "They can't wait [to have a child together]."
Evan, 26, admits he feels surrounded by love since marrying the 'Pieces of Me' hitmaker and the happy couple would love to have a massive family.
He said: "Now we have two huge families."
The couple tied the knot in a romantic ceremony held at his mother Diana Ross' lavish home in Greenwich, Connecticut, on August 30.
Bronx already has some experience of being a big brother, as Pete also has two-month-old son, Saint Lazslo Wentz, with girlfriend Meagan Camper.
The Fall Out Boy rocker, who split from Ashlee in 2011 after three years of marriage, previously insisted his eldest son is showing no signs of jealousy.
He said: "Not at all. Bronx is already planning everyone's Halloween costume!"
He added: "Meagan is a natural mom. It's amazing to watch her with him."
Last month, Ashlee's sister Jessica Simpson and her husband Eric Johnson - who have two kids together, Maxwell, two, and Ace, 15-months - were said to be "working feverishly on having another child".
An insider said: "Eric always wanted more kids and he's finally convinced her.
"She realised that the best moments of her life have been with Eric and the kids. She'd be thrilled to announce that another baby is on the way."

Russell Brand misses Jemima Khan's dog.
The 39-year-old comedian - who reportedly split from Jemima, 40, last month after a year of dating - confessed "life is hard" now he no longer gets to spend time with her white Alsatian named Brian.
Speaking on 'The Jonathan Ross Show', which airs tomorrow night (25.10.14), he said: "I loved that dog. But what can you do?
"Life is hard isn't it. You just jog on. You focus and think, 'Well I have lost that dog, we just have to overthrow the government.' "
Russell - who had taken Brian onto the talk show a year earlier - added: "I just walk around with a limp lead now. You should see what I do when I get home, with the same lead."

Katie Price is planning to sell her breast implants.
The 36-year-old model is to offload her current fake boobs in a few months to raise money for breast cancer charities because the former model - who last year revealed her assets are a size 32DD after previously being as big as 32FF - wants to go under the knife again as an early "Christmas present" for her and husband Kieran Hayler.
She told The Sun newspaper: "We should sell these implants for charity. I've got more pairs in the safe.
"I love them but I'd sell them in The Sun for a breast cancer charity. I can even sign them with a marker pen.
"You could have these very breasts right from inside me in a few weeks."
Katie - who previously boosted her boobs from a natural size 32B to a size 32DD when she was just 19 - insists her assets are now "saggy" after recently giving birth to her two children, Jett, 14 months, and two-month-old Bunny, with Kieran.
The mother-of-five added: "I've had two babies very quickly so they're saggy.
"I know I look ridiculous but that's what people want to see. I'd just had them done before I met Kieran so I'm having a service."
In June while she was pregnant with Bunny, Katie - who also has children Harvey, 12, from a previous relationship with Dwight Yorke and Junior, nine, and Princess, seven, from her marriage to Peter Andre - revealed plans to have a breast reduction at some point because she wanted her boobs to be "pert".
The brunette - who has gone under the knife six times in a bid to get perfect breasts - said at the time: "I'm like an orangutan. I've been pregnant for the last two years!"
When asked if she would have more cosmetic surgery, she replied: "I will do my boobs again ... they were amazing before I met Kieran.
"They were literally amazing, the best they'd ever been. But then three months later, I'm pregnant. I think I'll go a little bit smaller this time and go pert."
