Lady Gaga drank whiskey to relax

Lady Gaga drank whiskey to relax around Tony Bennett.
The 'Applause' hitmaker admits she was "very nervous" when she started working with the jazz legend on their album, 'Cheek to Cheek,' and relied on alcohol to help her stay calm in the recording studio.
The 28-year-old star told E! News: "The second we were in the studio together, it was so magical. We were bouncing improvisation off each other and we were laughing. I was keeping a whiskey under my stool because I was very nervous to be around him.
"And then, gradually, we became greater and greater friends. And I think because of that, our singing became more and more honest and more and more authentic."
The 'Bad Romance' hitmaker credits the 88-year-old singer for reigniting her passion for performing.
She said: "He's the reason that I'm here today, that I'm still making music, that I'm still excited to make music.
"Even singing with Tony now, going back on tour, it has completely changed the way I am on stage. It actually revived something in me that I haven't felt in a few years. It's a certain resilience, a certain confidence."
The star's family are very proud of her for collaborating with the legendary singer.
She said: "As an Italian-American woman, the biggest things for us in our lives is making our dads proud, and my father has never been more proud of me than he is right now."

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher want another baby soon

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher want to have another baby.
The couple, who welcomed daughter Wyatt into the world late last month, are reportedly already thinking about expanding their family again.
A source told E! News: "They are loving being new parents. Ashton is already mentioning baby number two. Mila laughs and tells him to slow down! But she wants another baby and to have it close to Wyatt's age so they can be close."
The 31-year-old actress is "not too stressed" about getting her pre-pregnancy figure back, but recently started working out again.
The insider said: "Mila has been spending a lot of time trying to lose the baby weight, which is slowly coming off. She's not too stressed about it but does want to get back into her skinny jeans. She says she has so many sizes of clothes in her closet. She has post baby sizes, maternity clothes, pre-baby sizes and then her 'Black Swan' clothes which are the smallest sizes she owns.
"She has been doing yoga, and cardio but still isn't going crazy. They enjoy bad food as well and she indulges when she wants."
Meanwhile, the former 'That 70s Show' stars, who got engaged earlier this year, are "super excited" to dress Wyatt up for Halloween next Friday (31.10.14).
The source said: "They think it's hilarious and are putting her in all kinds of baby costumes and outfits. It's their first holiday as a family and even thought Wyatt is barely a month old, they are stoked!"

George Clooney’s in-laws organise extravagant bash

Amal Clooney's family want to show George Clooney he is a "much-loved and cherished" part of their family.
The British human rights lawyer and the 'Monuments Men' star - who tied the knot in Venice, Italy last month - will be the guests of honour at an extravagant post-wedding party, hosted by her parents, Baria and Ramzi Alamuddin, at the Danesfield House Hotel & Spa in Buckinghamshire, England on Saturday night (25.10.14).
A source told E! News: "[Amal's sister] Tala wanted to help her parents plan the party at Danesfield House and they all are eager to make this weekend one to remember for George and Amal as a thank you for the amazing time they all had in Venice. The feeling within the Alamuddin family is still very much one of celebration and joy about the wedding.
"They're keen to show George how pleased they are that he and Amal are so happy together and that he is a much-loved and cherished part of the family."
The insider added: "The party is going to be everything that the wedding in Italy was - lots of celebrating with champagne, an incredible five-course dinner and then lots of dancing until the early hours of the morning."
The 53-year-old star was spotted arriving at Heathrow Airport in London for the festivities this morning (24.10.14).
An eyewitness said: "George seemed very relaxed and casual, he was so low-key that hardly anyone recognised him! George looked very happy to be back in the UK and seemed excited about the prospect of being reunited with Amal."
A large white marquee was erected at the five-star countryside hotel, which sits on 65 acres, for the private festivities in recent days, and crates of champagne, white lilies, purple orchids and mini white roses were delivered this morning.

Gwyneth Paltrow is openly dating ‘Glee’ co-creator

Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk are "openly dating."
The Oscar-winning actress, who announced her split from Chris Martin in March after 10 years of marriage, started romancing the 'Glee' and 'American Horror Story' co-creator in July, and they now regularly circulate as a couple in Hollywood.
The insider told the New York Post's Page Six: "[They're] openly dating, but behind closed doors. They go to private Hollywood parties together."
The 43-year-old executive producer, who also split from his wife of 10 years last year, first met the blonde beauty, 42, when she guest-starred on 'Glee.'
They spent a lot of time together over the summer in Los Angeles and the Hamptons, and also enjoyed a secret holiday to Utah.
Coldplay star Chris, who has daughter Apple, 10, and son Moses, eight, with Gwyneth, has also moved on with Jennifer Lawrence, 24.
Meanwhile, the 'Iron Man 3' star admits acupuncture has helped her "heal" in recent months.
Writing on her lifestyle blog, Goop.com, she revealed: "Those many little needles have helped me through many an ailment. "Don't get me wrong, I am thankful as hell for a round of antibiotics or surgery when necessary, but I have been helped tremendously by all of the practices below that help the body heal itself."

Nick Cannon still spends time with Mariah Carey

Nick Cannon insists he and Mariah Carey are still on amicable terms.
The 'America's Got Talent' host, who quietly split from the 44-year-old singer over the summer after six years of marriage, claims they still "do everything that we're supposed to do together" for the sake of their three-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe.
He said: "We've always been people who are kinda on the go, coming and going, so their life hasn't changed one bit. We spend holidays together, we do everything that we're supposed to do together."
When asked if their children understand what's going on, he told 'The Meredith Vieira Show': "They're just happy. They love mommy, they love daddy."
The heartthrob is coping well and added: "It's truly just staying focused on family and what's right and getting through these times and just doing what's right for the kids."
Nick recently had the "Mariah" tattoo on his upper back inked over with a new cross design, and while trying to convince the Meredith to get a tattoo on her ankle, he warned: "Don't put anyone's name!"

‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ has been axed

'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' has been axed "effective immediately."
The reality TV series - which focuses on the life of beauty pageant contestant Alana Thompson, nine, and her family in McIntyre, Georgia - has been cancelled by TLC amid rumours family matriarch June Shannon is dating a convicted sex offender.
The US network said in a statement: "TLC has cancelled the series 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' and ended all activities around the series, effective immediately.
"Supporting the health and welfare of these remarkable children is our only priority. TLC is faithfully committed to the children's ongoing comfort and well being."
June, 35, insists her four daughters are her top priority despite reports she is romancing Mark McDaniel, who was convicted of aggravated child molestation on one of her young relatives in 2004 and released from jail in March.
The star, who recently split from her husband Mike 'Sugar Bear' Thompson, wrote on her Facebook page on Thursday (23.10.14): "It isn't true i promise. My kids r #1 priority over anything else (sic)."
She also denied the allegations in a video clip today (24.10.14), saying: "As of right now there will be no more production of the show. The statement of me dating a sex offender is not true. I would not ever put my kids in danger."
She added: "Things happen for a reason in life. We love y'all (sic)."
The series premiered in 2012 and ratings for its most recent season remained strong, but the network decided to cancel the show just one day after gossip website TMZ.com obtained a photograph of June and Mark at a small party in a hotel room and obtained "compelling evidence" they are in a relationship.

Amal Clooney don’t make Rande Gerber ‘feel stupid’

George Clooney's best friend is relieved Amal Clooney doesn't make him "feel stupid."
Rande Gerber, who attended the couple's recent wedding in Venice, Italy with wife Cindy Crawford, admits the British human rights lawyer is very "smart," but insists she isn't intimidating.
Asked about the newlyweds, the 52-year-old entrepreneur told PEOPLE.com: "She's really perfect for him. She's smart and she's beautiful, engaging. She is, again ... smart, but she doesn't make you feel stupid!"
Rande predicts the brunette beauty and the 'Monuments Men' actor will do "some incredible things" together.
He said: "I've been friends with George probably half my life. And it's just great that he found someone."
He added: "She's a great girl, and together I think they can do some incredible things."
Meanwhile, Rande and Cindy, who have son Presley, 15, and daughter Kaia, 13, are happier than ever after 16 years of marriage and still enjoy regular date nights.
The model said: "We live in Malibu, Rande has a restaurant there, so I would say, normally, we'll just go grab a bite to eat and just have time to connect. We're lucky because we have time, but our best date night is with the kids."

Paris Hilton laughs off Deadmau5 attack

Paris Hilton has branded Deadmau5 an attention seeker.
The 33-year-old socialite hit back at the DJ on Twitter after he called her a "straight up a**" for trying to carve out a career in the music industry and earning $1 million for "playing a CD at a club."
In a post on his blog, the 'Ghosts 'n' Stuff' hitmaker wrote: "I remember back when, at the cosmo in vegas, she attended, and i guess i was accommodating (as far as that usually goes for me) i could see she was having a fun time, liked the music, and just wanted to be a part of it all... so of course, why not... even i couldn't hate on that (sic).
"But, let's get real here for a second... There's being invovled / enthusiastic about something... and then theres just being a straight up a** (sic)."
The 33-year-old musician - real name Joel Zimmerman - said Paris was insulting him and his colleagues by encroaching on their scene and calling herself a professional, as they have "invested their entire lives to their careers."
He added: "so paris, thank you... were actually not even mad youre enthusiatic about electronic music... we love that youre a part of our party. But please, get the f**k back in your go kart. No need to prove that you found someone stupid enough to consider paying you a million dollars for something the world knows you arent... because here's what you actually are to everyone who knows better.. ticket sales. nothing more (sic)."
He also suggested the former reality TV star only became a DJ because she once dated DJ AfroJack.
But the blonde beauty quickly laughed off his rant, tweeting: "I find it hilarious when others try to badmouth me in order to get attention. Sorry that I'm #Killingit while doing what I love & live for (sic)."

Sam Smith can’t wait to settle down

Sam Smith loves the idea of getting married and having children.
The 'Stay With Me' hitmaker, who is currently single, admits he is looking forward to settling down in the future and would love to open a coffee shop in Italy.
The 22-year-old singer told Teen Vogue: "The idea of having a house, a kid, a husband, and a dog...I love that. I also really want to open a coffee and flower shop one day, probably in Italy."
The British star, who has been openly gay for many years, wrote much of his debut album, 'In The Lonely Hour,' about unrequited love, but he will always "treasure" the experience.
He said: "I fell in love with someone last year, and he didn't love me back. I deleted him off of WhatsApp, and it felt like I'd just broken up with him. On the record you can hear heartbreak, and there's a beauty in that I will always treasure."
He added: "With the whole gay thing, I've had zero reaction, which says something beautiful about our generation and how things are getting a little bit better."
But Sam still gets very emotional while performing tracks from the record.
He said: "I stand onstage and I wanna cry for the entire thing because people know my business. You all know me. You can read as many interviews as you want, but if you put on my record, I'm telling you, that is me."
