Bruce Jenner is lucky to be alive after crashing into a ditch.
The 65-year-old star and his son Burt ended up in the dirt after smashing their motor during the brutal Baja 1000 off-road race in the Mexican desert on Thursday (13.11.14), and while the pair escaped with cuts and bruises, Burt was seen wearing a catheter afterwards.
Burt took to Instagram to post a picture of the pair enjoying a well-deserved post-race drink and he added the caption: "Well I don't want to say the race didn't go as planned, because it did... we had a blast, learned a ton about Baja, made a bunch of new friends who I will remember for life, didn't bend the truck (even though we went off twice) and we came home safe..."
The 36 year old - Bruce's oldest child with first wife Chrystie Crownover - also took to the social networking site to thank the crew members who helped fix their $1 million ride following their crash in the five-day event.
He wrote: "In this picture is the group of people who helped us out in the middle of the desert when we broke the truck and offered us pizza and beer and radios... at this point after hours in the desert dad and I were starving, thirsty, and needed a radio to signal our race was over... they pretty much solved all or problems and made life good again. (sic)"
According to TMZ, The father-and-son pairing had to wait a few hours to get back on the road after their smash, which occurred around the 170-mile mark, but they eventually had to pull out of the race because they lost too much time due to the crash.
Several racers and spectators have previously been killed at the annual event, which costs at least $125,000 to enter, with trucks costing around $500,000.

Bono is to undergo surgery after being involved in a bicycle accident.
The 54-year-old U2 frontman has injured his arm in a collision in New York's Central Park, forcing the group to cancel their week-long residency on Jimmy Fallon's 'Tonight Show', which was due to begin tonight (17.11.14).
A statement on the band's website read: "It looks like we will have to do our 'Tonight Show' residency another time -- we're one man down.
"Bono has injured his arm in a cycling spill in Central Park and requires some surgery to repair it.
"We're sure he'll make a full recovery soon, so we'll be back!
"Much thanks to Jimmy Fallon and everyone at the show for their understanding."
The website didn't offer any other information about the accident.
Jimmy had been promoting the band's appearance all last week and even held a YouTube lip sync contest for fans, who could win the chance of singing 'The Miracle (Of Joey Ramone)' with U2 on the show.
The accident comes a few days after the 'One' singer cheated death when a door fell off his private jet as he flew to Berlin, Germany.
A source said after the terrifying accident last Wednesday (12.11.14): "He was extremely lucky, the plane could have gone down. About an hour into the journey they heard a big thud coming from the rear of the plane.
"They were startled for a bit but they continued on and made the descent into Berlin airport. When they landed they were horrified to learn that the compartment at the rear of the plane had completely detached.
"They were at an altitude where anything could have happened and they are all feeling very lucky to be alive."

Solange Knowles has married Alan Ferguson.
The couple tied the knot at the Holy Trinity Church in New Orleans yesterday (16.11.14) afternoon in front of 100 friends and family, including the 28-year-old DJ's famous sister Beyonce Knowles, her husband Jay Z and their two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, and singer pal Janelle Monae.
Solange wore a long caped gown by Humberto Leon for Kenzo for the nuptials but arrived at the ceremony in a Stephane Rolland cream jump suit, having travelled there on a white-painted bicycle decorated with cream roses.
She told Vogue magazine - who shared pictures of the star's big day just hours after the couple tied the knot - in an email: "Everyone I worked with on the wedding are friends who I love. Everything was a labour of love."
Guests were asked to wear white to the festivities and Solange walked down the aisle to a symphonic instrumental of Donny Hathaway's 'I Love the Lord, He Heard Me Cry', one of the bride and groom's favourite songs.
Later in the day, Solange and her 51-year-old videographer spouse treated their guests to performances from Kelela, Questlove and Kindness and there was even a dance-off between the bride and her 10-year-old son Daniel Julez - from her previous marriage to Daniel Smith - to 'No Flex Zone'.
Solange sparked speculation she and Alan - who she began dating in 2008 - were getting married after posting an Instagram picture of herself and the director swimming in an ocean while holidaying on her birthday in June.
She wrote alongside the picture: "Today couldn't have been more perfect. I couldn't have smiled harder. Thank you for all of your lovely and wonderful wishes. They warmed my heart and I simply feel grateful for all of the love."

Kendra Wilkinson's sex tape has resurfaced online.
The infamous video was made by the former Playboy star and her ex-boyfriend Justin Frye in 2005 - and photos from her saucy romp have started appearing on the internet once again.
The sex tape, entitled 'Kendra Exposed', was first leaked in 2010 and was a major source of embarrassment for the former live-in girlfriend of Playboy's Hugh Hefner.
Speaking shortly after it first leaked, she said: "It just had to come out now when I finally cleaned up my life.
"It's extremely embarrassing. I am a very open person, I am very honest about my life, but a sex tape was definitely not what I wanted in my life. It wasn't for anybody else's eyes to see except for ours."
Kendra, 29, is currently taking part in 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' in Australia and recently confessed she is a "big pervert".

Damon Albarn has questioned whether Band Aid 30 is a suitable way of tackling Ebola.
The 46-year-old musician is one of few public figures to hit out at the charity single - which features a wide array of stars - saying that it's unlikely to resolve the problem.
The Blur frontman reflected: "There are problems with our idea of charity, especially these things that suddenly balloon out of nothing and then create a media frenzy where some of that essential communication is lost.
"It starts to feel like it's a process where if you give money you solve the problem, and really sometimes giving money creates another problem."
The singer also hit out at the lack of African-born performers on the new track, telling Channel 4 news: "That's great, just a few more would be nice and also maybe go there - all those people who are making that."
Meanwhile, singer Adele is said to have ignored "100 phone calls" to appear on the charity single, which features the likes of One Direction and Coldplay's Chris Martin.
A Band Aid source told The Sun newspaper: "We made 100 phone calls to Adele because Bob and Midge were desperate for her to take part.
"But it was complete radio silence back. She didn't even bother to say she couldn't do it."

Taylor Swift gave a pint-size Mercedes-Benz as a gift to a toddler.
The 'Shake It Off' hitmaker gave the impressive present to the son of Stephanie Barnett, who's a huge fan of the award-winning singer, and even delivered it in person to their home in North Haven, Connecticut.
Stephanie recalled the surreal incident, saying: "I open the door and she's like, 'Hey, Steph!' and it's just her right there and I lost it.
"I was literally bawling on my couch, like, inconsolably, that she would do this for me and my son."
Taylor, 24, has given gifts to fans in the past, but that she took the time to deliver the present in person made it even more special for Stephanie and her two-year-old son Leyton.
She told NBC Connecticut: "The car was so big, she's like, 'I don't know how to ship it, so I thought I'd bring it over.' And I was, like, 'Who does that?' It's incredible."

The Hollywood stars were compelled to smooch for a scene in the new movie and Liam, 24, has revealed that his co-star went out of her way to make the experience unpleasant for him.
He revealed on 'The Tonight Show': "She's one of my best friends, I love her, but if we had a kissing scene she would make a point of eating garlic or tuna fish.
"Any time I had to kiss Jennifer it was pretty uncomfortable."
Meanwhile, Jennifer - who stars as Katniss Everdeen in the latest instalment of 'The Hunger Games' trilogy - claimed recently that she thinks it is harder for her to adjust to being famous because she had such a normal upbringing.
The 24-year-old actress told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I have perspective because I didn't grow up in this business. I'm not from Hollywood. I'm from Kentucky.
"Humour has helped me to survive all this.
"My dad taught me always to laugh at myself. I guess I can have an intellectual conversation for five minutes, but then I want to get back to laughing."

Amanda Bynes was "obviously joking" about wanting to murder her parents.
An audio recording of the 28-year-old actress threatening to kill her parents, Rick and Lynn Bynes, and then burn their house has emerged online - but Amanda insists she made the comments in "jest".
She took to Twitter to clarify her remarks, saying: "By the way - I was obviously joking about hurting my family - I straight up don't believe in harming a soul (sic)."
Amanda - who left a psychiatric hospital last month - continued: "I said what I said in jest & if you don't understand that then know I'm in therapy to talk about my dad issues and that will solve my concerns with ppl invading my private life.
"When I said I want @drake to murder my vagina did anyone think I was asking him to actually murder my vagina.
"I think not. So take what I say lightly because I am the nicest girl."
The 'Easy A' star was recently caught sleeping on a sofa in a Beverly Hills shopping mall in California, saying she couldn't afford a hotel because her parents - who have control of her finances - wouldn't give her enough money.

Kelly Osbourne has been bitten on the face by a spider.
The 'Fashion Police' star revealed the news on Twitter, confirming to her millions of followers that she'd been bitten by the creature and that she'd also had an injection in her jaw.
The 30-year-old reality TV star shared: "I have no words to express how much a spider bite to the face hurts! Plus a large injection in my jaw... today sucked balls! (sic)"
Meanwhile, it was recently announced that Kelly, Jack, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne are all set to appear in a new series of 'The Osbournes'.
The popular reality show originally aired on MTV from 2002 to 2005 and Sharon, 62, has revealed that the decision to bring it back was instigated by her rocker husband.
She said: "It was all my husband's doing. He looked back on his life and he said, 'I wish we could have done 'The Osbournes' now where I'm clean and sober.'"
Sharon told The Talk: "At most, there will only be six to eight episodes and a catch-up on our lives and where we are now, because it's been so long since we've been seen as a family and our family has grown."
