Katherine Heigl apologises for attitude

Katherine Heigl feels "sorry" she made a "crappy impression" on Shona Rhimes.
The 35-year-old actress - who was branded difficult and accused of being a diva on other sets earlier this year - has spoken out after the 'Grey's Anatomy' creator appeared to brand her an "a*****e" and implied she was hard to work with in a recent interview.
She said: "The last one with Shonda ... it sucks.
"I am sorry that she feels that way and I wish her nothing but greatness, and I have nothing negative to say about Shonda. I'm a big fan of her work. I watch 'Scandal' every week, and so I'm sorry she's left with such a crappy impression of me. I wish I could do something to change that. Maybe I will be able to someday."
The 'State of Affairs' actress - who has daughters Naleigh, five, and Adelaide, two, with husband Josh Kelley - admitted hearing stories of her bad reputation have been difficult to "stomach" but she is doing her best to prove them wrong.
She added in an interview with 'Extra': "Yeah, that took some stomaching and having to just go, OK, there's nothing I can do about this except to sort of prove it wrong, you know, and the only way to prove it wrong is for people to have a work experience with me that doesn't speak to that at all."
Katherine spoke out after Shonda said she has no time for "nasty people" anymore.
Discussing the tight-knit cast on her other show 'Scandal' and her "no a******s" policy, she added: "There are no Heigls in this situation...
"I don't put up with bulls**t or nasty people. I don't have time for it."
The duo's friendship soured in 2008 after the blonde beauty, who played Dr. Izzie Stevens on the show for five years until 2010, withdrew her name from awards consideration because she felt she hadn't been provided the material "to warrant an Emmy nomination."

Channing Tatum too intense for wife

Channing Tatum was too "intense" for his wife to be around when he was filming 'Foxcatcher'.
The 34-year-old actor had gotten so deeply into the character of wrestler Mark Schultz when Jenna Dewan-Tatum - with whom he has 17-month-old daughter Everly - visited him in Pennsylvania that she cut her trip much shorter than planned.
Jenna, 33, admitted: "I was pregnant, so I came already hormonal.
"It was so interesting because he was so in character, channelling this sort of intense dark character that I was like - and it was winter - I'm going to go back to California!"
Channing admitted it was hard to shake off his alter ego at the end of a day's filming with director Bennett Miller.
He said: "Bennett creates an environment that you can't shake off at the end of the day. And, you know, you try to come home and make her laugh, [but ] I just couldn't do it. I tried."
However, the 'Magic Mike' actor also admitted he felt his wife's pregnancy made her more sensitive to the situation than she otherwise would have been.
He laughed:"And pregnant women - if you don't know - are very emotional as it is."

Chris Martin can’t get enough of Katy Perry

Chris Martin listens to "a lot of Katy Perry".
The Coldplay frontman loves to put on some of the 30-year-old singer's hits of an evening, and admits after listening to many of 'Firework' hitmaker's tracks he thinks her music sounds a lot like grunge outfit Nirvana.
Speaking about the creative process behind Coldplay's hit 'A Sky Full of Stars', he said: "I'll tell you the truth, I was listening to a lot of Katy Perry.
"A lot of her songs have the same chord sequence the whole time ... and then I realised a lot of other people have done that, Nirvana being a classic example, with 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'."
While Chris' lyrics are often the subject of plenty of praise, the 37-year-old star insists he doesn't think much of his own song words.
Speaking in 'Beat x Beat' video, which can be seen on the official Beats by Dre You Tube channel, he added: "I'm not the most poetic of lyricists, but I know what feels right."
Chris admitted 'A Sky Full of Stars' was inspired by him also listening to a lot of electronic dance music and he was glad to get some help from Swedish DJ Avicii.
He said: "I asked Avicci for help and he said 'yeah', with his backwards cap, and said, 'That'll be $12 million' ... no he didn't."
Chris featured in latest 'Beat x Beat' series which can be seen on the official Beats by Dre You Tube channel: http://youtu.be/BJ78bwKOUs4

Benedict Cumberbatch laughs over Kim Kardashian’s butt

Benedict Cumberbatch enjoyed a joke about Kim Kardashian West's butt with Jimmy Fallon on Monday (17.11.14).
The 38-year-old actor was reduced to a giggling mess as he joined the talk show host in a game of 'Three-Word Stories' on 'The Tonight Show'.
Benedict - who recently got engaged to his long-term girlfriend Sophie Hunter, 36, - could barely hold himself together as he tried to get Jimmy to say the word "booty".
The game - which involves a mystery word with the first player having to use three words to guide the second player to say the mysterious phrase - started off nicely as Jimmy got Benedict to say the word "unicorn".
However, when the time came for Benedict to get Jimmy to say "booty", things turned silly.
The 'Imitation Game' star kicked things off by saying: "You've got to shake..."
To which Jimmy replied: "Shake it off."
Benedict then said: "A beautiful big..."
Prompting Jimmy to quip: "Kim Kardashian's butt!"
Despite all the laughter, Benedict persevered by adding: "Makes lots of..."
As Jimmy joked: "Money for Kanye."
After the giggling about Kim's impressive posterior died down, Benedict went on to discuss his infamous photobomb moment with U2 at the 86th annual Academy Awards in March, revealing it was inspired by one of his close friends.
He said: "I've got a friend Helen who is a huge, life-long fan (of U2), I mean as am I am, but she's like, 'Oh my God they really are [the] soundtrack of my life, please, please, get a photo with them. And I thought, 'Perfect moment for it.' "

Hulk Hogan wants Expendables 4 role

Hulk Hogan wants a role in 'The Expendables 4'.
Rumours have been rife that the WWE legend is being lined-up by creator Sylvester Stallone for a part in the next instalment in the action franchise - which also stars Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren.
Hulk is yet to hear anything directly from his friend - whom he starred with in 'Rocky III' - but he is definitely interested in starring in the mercenary movie.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I've heard that I'm going to be in every 'Expendables' film, from the first one up until now. Stallone makes all the decisions and it's up to him but it would be great to be in 'The Expendables', that would be a lot of fun, especially working with Stallone."
One film the former multi-time world champion will definitely be appearing in is the new WWE Scooby-Doo movie.
WWE Studios and Warner Bros. have decided to team up again for an animated crossover following the success of this year's 'Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery' and Hulk will be one of the main characters.
He revealed: "From what I've heard I am the star of the new Scooby-Doo movie, so I'm very excited."
The 61-year-old legend has appeared in several films during his career, including 'Suburban Commando' and 'Mr. Nanny', but he says he's more interested in now than he used to be because he's no longer as full-time competitor.
Hulk and the other WWE Superstars are starting to get ready for 'WrestleMania XXXI', which takes place at Levi's Stadium in San Francisco Bay on Sunday, March 29, 2015
The iconic star has revealed the atmosphere gets a lot more intense as the showpiece event approaches.
Hulk - who has headlined the show on eight occasions - said: "Look, everybody turns the dial up, it gets more intense the closer we get to 'WrestleMania', it's no different to the old days as far as that aspect goes. The whole world is going to be watching and 'WrestleMania' can change the whole match of their whole career, a good match at 'WrestleMania' can put them at the top of the food chain. So everybody is at the very top of their game."
Tickets for 'WrestleMania XXXI' are on sale at Ticketmaster.com now.

Chris Martin’s Hunger Games ambition

Chris Martin wants to be in 'The Hunger Games'.
The 37-year-old Coldplay frontman admitted he has always enjoyed running about in the outdoors and explained that if he was a teenager now, he'd love to talk part in the fictitious game, in which people have to kill others to win a competition, taken from the novel and movie of the same name which stars his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence.
Speaking about his penchant for the wilderness as a child, Chris is quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "I used to collect pen knives as a kid. I was into outdoor stuff and I wanted to be Robin Hood.
"Now I'd want to be into 'The Hunger Games'."
The 'Viva La Vida' musician dated the 24-year-old actress for three months following his decision to "consciously uncouple" from his estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow, 42, in March 2014.
And according to reports, Jennifer has rekindled her romance with her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, 24, after deciding to call time on her relationship with Chris in October.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "He's been calling her and they've been speaking regularly on Skype.
"Their relationship is getting closer and his family would love for them to get back together."

Angelina Jolie praises ‘great’ Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie has hailed Brad Pitt a "great man".
The 39-year-old actress admits her life with her actor husband - with who she raises children Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, eight, and twins Knox and Vivienne, six - helped influence her work on 'Unbroken', her latest directorial effort about the real-life tale of Louis Zamperini, an Olympian who was taken prisoner by Japanese forces during World War II.
She said: "['Unbroken'] is an epic about the human spirit, so I think certainly in knowing, less about the technical aspect of shooting a war film, but more what I know of him [Brad] as a man and living with this great man and seeing the choices he makes with our family, our children, the way he treats me and the values he holds and learning from my sons.
"These are things I think I brought to the film that I understand about men and what I love about men, and what I think I'd want our generation to be reminded of.
"The great men who came before them and the greatness in them now and how to rise up to it."
While shooting 'Unbroken' in Australia last year, Angelina adopted a number of local expressions and admits it was always a pleasure to hear the phrase "No worries".
Speaking at a press conference for the film in Sydney today (18.11.14), she said: "'No worries' is a great thing to hear from your crew,
"When you're in the middle of 200 extras and there's a lot to do sinking planes in the water in a very very stressful shoot and you say, 'Can we do this?' and they say, 'No worries'. "

Paul Walker wanted to quit Hollywood

Paul Walker was ready to quit Hollywood before he died.
The 'Fast & Furious' actor - who died in a car accident in November 2013 - was unhappy about his busy filming schedule because he wanted to retreat from the spotlight to spend more time with his 16-year-old daughter Meadow, who moved in with him in 2011.
The actor's father, Paul Sr., said: "Paul was planning on taking a break from starring in movies, and stepping away from Hollywood, to spend more time with Meadow.
"He was so proud of her, she is incredibly intelligent and beautiful, and Paul wanted to be there for her as she grew up.
"In fact, he would've swapped his Hollywood fame for the quiet life with Meadow. Paul wasn't big on fame and preferred to live modestly.
"But he signed on for the 'Agent 47' movie about a hit man, and it was already agreed that if it was successful there would be three further movies made.
"That was something he confessed to me he wished he hadn't done because he wanted to be with Meadow."
And according to Paul Sr., the 40-year-old actor - who had Meadow with ex-wife Rebecca Soteros - had also declared his intention to give up fast cars in favour of his childhood hobby of surfing.
He added to MailOnline: "He was bored of the car thing. He actually told me, before he died, that he had rediscovered the ocean and had taken up surfing again.
"He tore his ACL in his knee and that made driving a lot more difficult for him to do.
"Paul was a free spirit - he loved being out in the ocean, staring into the abyss and found peace there.
"He would love nothing more than packing a sleeping bag in a van, sleeping out in the wild and lived in such a modest way."

Justin Bieber’s childhood home on sale for $279k

Justin Bieber's childhood home is on sale for $279,000.
The 20-year-old star's grandparents Bruce and Diane Dale have listed their three-bedroom house in Ontario, Canada - where the singer spent the majority of his younger years - and are hoping their grandson's fame will help increase the price.
According to TMZ, Justin's room remains as he left it complete with wallpaper, bedding and curtains emblazoned with the blue and white colours and crest of his favourite ice hockey team, Toronto Maple Leafs.
While Justin is said to be close to his mother Pattie Mallette's parents, his other set of grandparents, George and Kathy Bieber, recently claimed he hardly ever speaks to them because fame has gone to his head.
Speaking last year, George said: "It's like we now live on different planets. He never calls us, and now I sometimes think he doesn't care.
"It does make me sad, as right now our lives are pretty desperate.
"Justin has just got too big for his britches. He will always be my grandson, and I am and always will be so proud of him. It's just sad that he is not a bigger part of our life."
George also insists the 'Never Say Never' hitmaker is only too happy to help Bruce and Diane.
He said: "For them, nothing seems to be too much trouble, and he buys them new houses, cars, luxury holidays, anything they want - but for us, nothing."
