Chris Martin wants to be in ‘The Hunger Games’.
The 37-year-old Coldplay frontman admitted he has always enjoyed running about in the outdoors and explained that if he was a teenager now, he’d love to talk part in the fictitious game, in which people have to kill others to win a competition, taken from the novel and movie of the same name which stars his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence.
Speaking about his penchant for the wilderness as a child, Chris is quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "I used to collect pen knives as a kid. I was into outdoor stuff and I wanted to be Robin Hood.
"Now I’d want to be into ‘The Hunger Games’."
The ‘Viva La Vida’ musician dated the 24-year-old actress for three months following his decision to "consciously uncouple" from his estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow, 42, in March 2014.
And according to reports, Jennifer has rekindled her romance with her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult, 24, after deciding to call time on her relationship with Chris in October.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "He’s been calling her and they’ve been speaking regularly on Skype.
"Their relationship is getting closer and his family would love for them to get back together."
