Britney Spears’ special birthday treat

Britney Spears received a personalised birthday cake from her boyfriend Charlie Ebersol.
The 'Toxic' singer celebrated turning 33 on Tuesday (02.12.14) with an enormous sweet treat, lovingly designed by her new beau at the cake decorating studio Duff's Cakemix in Los Angeles.
A source shared: "Charlie has been a longtime client of Duff's Cakemix and he wanted to specifically design this for her from him.
"Every detail came straight from his creative, sweet brain."
Despite having only dated for a couple of months, the 31-year-old producer proved how well he knows Britney by perfectly co-ordinating the cake to the rest of Britney's decor.
The source told E! News: "Charlie is a sweetheart. He put a lot of time and thought into this. You can see from the pictures Britney sent out that the colours were pinks and golds and blacks. It was all his creation."
It seems as though Britney was pleasantly surprised with the confection as she tweeted a photo of herself blowing out the candles on top of her lavish cake, along with the caption: "Couldn't have wished for a better birthday yesterday... Hello, 33! #Club33 (sic)"
She also thanked her fans and her two boys - eight-year-old Jayden and Preston, nine, from her previous marriage to Kevin Federline - after she shared an adorable photo of them on Twitter.
She wrote: "Thx for all the wonderful birthday wishes today, everyone! And of course thank u to these 2 cuties for theirs (sic)"
Britney started dating Charlie in October, just two months after she split from her long-term partner David Lucado.

Seth Rogen’s drug shock

Seth Rogen was "genuinely shocked" to discover marijuana was illegal in California.
The Canadian-born actor was arrested for drug use when he first moved to Los Angeles because he had forgotten about the fact they had different legislation than he was used to.
He recalled: "I was genuinely shocked at how illegal it was here. I actually got arrested when I first moved to LA - I was smoking a joint at the beach, like I did my entire childhood, and all of a sudden, it was, like, whoop whoop whoop! Handcuffed in the back of a police car."
Despite his arrest, the 'Interview' star doesn't believe he has a criminal record.
Meanwhile, Seth, 32, has had a special preview of Kanye West's next album - after the rapper invited him in his limo van and forced him to listen and give his opinion on each track.
Recalling how the 'Yeezus' star approached him in a New York hotel shortly after he and friend James Franco spoofed the musician's 'Bound 2' video - in which Seth played the role of Kanye's topless wife Kim Kardashian West - the actor admitted the session lasted much longer than he was expecting.
He told Rolling Stone magazine: "There's no lyrics, only beats. So he raps the whole album, and after each song, he stops it, like, 'So what do you think?' We were in the van for two hours!"

Ian McKellen: No phone sex cost me a lover

Sir Ian McKellen blames a lack of phone sex on losing an ex-boyfriend.
The 75-year-old actor believes youngsters nowadays are missing out on interacting with people because of their obsession with technology, but thinks he would've been able to hold onto one of his lovers if he'd engaged in raunchy conversations over the telephone when he was away from home starring on Broadway.
Ian - who came out as homosexual in 1988 - said: "I'd been on Broadway for a year communicating with my boyfriend in London, through letters.
"When I got back I couldn't be surprised that he'd decided not to live with me anymore.
"But if we'd had the internet, if we'd had Skype, phone sex, it would've probably been different."
The 'Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' actor - who first starred on Broadway in 1967 before returning for two plays in the 1980s and again this year - also joked he is an "expert in the missionary position" because he's played so many heterosexual lovers, but wouldn't have a problem orgasming on stage with a man.
While being interviewed by his 'Hobbit' co-star Martin Freeman for Shortlist magazine, he added: "I did 'Bent' [a play about the persecution of homosexuals in Nazi Germany] on stage. My character and the other leading character have sex without touching, actually.
"I wouldn't have a problem orgasming on stage while talking to another man. People say that's brave. To me it seems quite nice.
"When I did 'Scandal', my first film after coming out, my character, John Profumo, was a raging heterosexual.
"I said to Edward Petherbridge, 'My first scene's with Joanna Whalley and we've got to make love.' So he drew this little diagram.
"I've still got it. I was 50! I'm an expert in the missionary position."

Warwick Davis’ dashed racing car dreams

Warwick Davis used to dream of being a racing car driver.
The 44-year-old star really wanted to rally like his father when he was a youngster but his dreams were dashed when he became an actor because racing motors is "too dangerous" for an actor, but he has partly made up for it by becoming obsessed with racing car set Scalextric.
He said: "I really like playing Scalextric. My dad used to rally minis when he was younger and I must have inherited that gene.
"I always wanted to race cars but with my career it's too dangerous and I'm not allowed.
"I can't get in a Scalextric car, they're just a bit too small, but it's a hobby I enjoy with my children."
While Warwick used to dream of becoming a racer during his younger years, he didn't have much time to do so on Christmas Eve because he never used to get a great deal of sleep the night before Christmas Day as he was too scared thinking about a strange man being in the house delivering gifts.
He added to Metro newspaper: "I've still got vivid memories of how exciting it was but, at the same time, it was also scary that this guy was going to come to your house and bring presents while you were asleep.
"I don't think I ever slept beyond about 5am."

Jimmy Fallon is a dad again

Jimmy Fallon has become a father for the second time.
The 40-year-old talk show host and his wife Nancy Juvonen, 47, welcomed daughter Frances Cole - a sister for 16-month-old Winnie - into the world yesterday (03.12.14) morning via a surrogate, his representative has confirmed.
Their spokesperson said: "The 'Tonight Show' host Jimmy Fallon and his wife, Nancy, have welcomed a baby girl.
"Frances Cole Fallon officially entered the world at 8:45 am on December 3rd weighing 5 lbs. 11 ounces and is 18.5 inches long. Their new addition joins big sister, Winnie Rose.
"The couple opted to keep their baby joy to themselves until their new daughter, Frances Cole, made her official debut. Both Fallon babies were born via surrogate."
The happy news meant 'Tonight Show' recordings for yesterday and today (04.12.14) were scrapped, with reruns scheduled in their place.
A spokesperson for network NBC said: "Due to unexpected but delightful circumstances, 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' has had to cancel tapings for [Wednesday and Thursday]. Wednesday's repeat airing will include Daniel Radcliffe, Mike Tyson and musical guest Sturgill Simpson and Thursday's repeat guests are Gordon Ramsay, Fallonventions and musical guest Little Big Town.
"We look forward to resuming original episodes in the very near future."
Like Frances, the couple didn't reveal they were expecting their first child and Jimmy previously admitted he and Nancy thought things would be more "fun" that way.
He said: "We said, 'We're not going to tell anybody.' It'd be just more fun if it's just private between me and my wife. And then we get to introduce her to everybody.
"When it happened we were in shock. We were like, 'Alright, who do we tell? Who's going to be mad at us if this gets out?' We had to call everybody and it's so emotional!"

Jack O’Connell has a crush on Judi Dench

Jack O'Connell thinks Dame Judi Dench "fancies" him.
The 24-year-old actor has a huge crush on his 'Tulip Fever' co-star and is convinced the 79-year-old actress - whose husband Michael Williams died in 2001 - shares his feelings.
The single star said: "I fancy her. I really fancy her. I think she fancies me.
"I bought her a bottle of Moet [champagne] and she kissed me on my cheek. Then she said, 'Goodbye darling boy.'
"Can I quote something else she said: She turned to me and she went, 'Sock it to 'em, Jack.' "
Jack has recently been working on 'Unbroken', which is directed by Angelina Jolie and says both the brunette beauty and her husband, Brad Pitt, got along well with his family.
He told Britain's Glamour magazine: "There was one occasion since 'Unbroken', when we were all in London, and Angie invited us for some dinner and Brad was there.
"I had a word with Angie and said, 'Look, do you reckon Brad would say hello to my mum?' and she said, 'Yeah! And the rest.'
"My mum was talking to him as if he was one of our [family], and he must have warmed to her.
"People do warm to that about my mum. 20 minutes later, they'd become pals."

Mariah Carey ‘didn’t show up’ for performance

Mariah Carey "didn't show up" to pre-record her performance at the switching on of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lights.
The 44-year-old star took to the stage at the iconic venue in New York last night (03.11.14) but it's been revealed TV bosses intended for her to pre-record the Christmas songs ahead of the live show, but she never arrived for filming.
A source shared: "The diva was supposed to pre-tape her performance of Christmas songs like she's done before. The show is live Wednesday, but producers have learned their lesson with her over the years and that they must pre-tape her. She always shows up late. On Tuesday night, she didn't show up at all."
The 'We Belong Together' hitmaker is said to have kept producers, staff and crew from NBC waiting in the rain for three hours when she failed to show up at the recording session for the 82nd annual tree lighting extravaganza.
The source told the New York Daily News newspaper's Confidenti@l column: "Her camp kept saying she was ten minutes away, which was technically true because her hotel, The Palace Hotel, where she was staying, is about a 10minute ride away from 30 rock. But she was not en route."
The event organisers were then forced to send the audience home without seeing the star after they'd waited in the cold for hours.
The source added: "They left without seeing Mariah and now producers are scrambling to figure out what to do since NBC has already advertised she is a part of the show, and usually a big draw for it as well."
However, Mariah later took to Twitter to apologise to fans claiming the situation was "beyond" her "control" and performed tracks including 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' at the live show.

Kendra Wilkinson had suicidal thoughts

Kendra Wilkinson has suicidal thoughts during her marriage crisis.
The former Playboy model has admitted she felt like ending her life after discovering her husband Hank Baskett, 32 - with whom she has four-year-old son Hank Baskett IV and six-month-old daughter Alijah - had allegedly cheated on her with a transsexual model.
According to PEOPLE magazine, she said: "I was at a real low. I even questioned my life. If it wasn't for breastfeeding Alijah, the bond I had with her, I feel like I would have probably ended my life. I felt like I'm not even supposed to be here."
The 29-year-old star makes the confession in the special two-part finale of her reality series 'Kendra On Top', which is set to air in the US tomorrow (05.12.14).
The episode will also feature Kendra's first on-screen interview with her former American football player husband since the news broke of his alleged infidelity.
Meanwhile, a close friend of Kendra's recently revealed the blonde beauty is taking part in British reality show 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' in a bid to cure her heartache.
Jessica Hall revealed: "She wanted to do it to prove to herself what a strong person she is, because she has had a tough year. She needed the time out."
Kendra's pal added that she hopes the couple will be able to put their differences aside in the future.
She admitted: "I would love to see them make it work, because I adore both of them and they are terrific together. I'm rooting for Hank."
Meanwhile, speaking in the 'I'm A Celeb' jungle in Australia, Kendra told her campmates viewers wouldn't find out whether there is any truth behind the allegations made against her husband until April.

Agyness Dean used to fake US accent

Agyness Dean used to fake an American accent.
The 31-year-old former model - who was born in Greater Manchester, England - moved to Los Angeles almost five years ago but local residents still have a hard time understanding her Lancashire tones.
She said: "In LA, everyone thinks I'm Australian. I tell them I'm English and they say 'same thing'.
"My accent has definitely softened because when I first came over, I had to put on an American accent as no one understood a word I was saying."
The 'Electricity' actress - who is married to actor Giovanni Ribisi - gave up modelling because she wanted a new "challenge" and admits it is only now she is out of the fashion industry that she can really see what a good time she had during her catwalk days.
She added to Stylist magazine: "When I was modelling, I found the attention embarrassing and surreal. Not in a bad way, but because it felt like the attention was undue.
"I now feel like I didn't have perspective because it was all so much, but it was a great time in my life.
"Getting out of modelling was a conscious decision though. I fell into it after I was spotted and had an amazing 12 years, but I was craving a challenge.
"I've always been very private and I didn't intentionally drop out of the public eye, it happened because I moved to LA and all my focus was on my career change."
